Yes there were giants both before and after the flood, but they came from different sources. The Giants before the flood came from the mating of the Sons of God at Psalm 82, the gods, and the daughters of men. Whereas, the Giants after the flood came from Nimrod using technology which he inherited from Ham, the youngest son of Noah. Ham had stolen this technology when he uncovered his father's nakedness in his tent while his father was passed out drunk. This is an idiom from Hebrew culture which means to shame someone by taking their wife or wives sexually. Absalom did this to his father David, when he tried to take the kingship. Ham took not only his father's wife, his own mother, sexually, but he also took his father's staff of authority, priestly ephod, land and son of his incest, Canaan. Generations later, all these things were passed to Ham's great grandson Nimrod who had dug the pyramids out of the flood mud for the technology to build the Tower of Babel.

I'm sure someone has shared this thought, but the giants may have returned thru the wives of Noah's sons. Noah was pure in his generations meaning his blood had not been mingled with the offspring of the angels, but his wife, or his son's wives may have at some point, and so giants were born throughout the time between the waters receding and the exodus. Guessing that giants wanted to marry other giants, and at some point a few of them got together and traveled down the Jordan and settled in what we call the land of Canaan. After time, giants marrying giants gave birth to more giants until the land of Canaan was filled with this offspring. This is probably why God commanded the Israelites to kill every living thing, and to not marry any of the Canaanites. It was a purification of the giants, and a cleansing of the land.

My thoughts exactly. What we don't know is how advanced the world was before the flood. I believe it was very advanced and God wiped man from the face of the earth. We can see the evidence in the Egyptian caskets how smooth and precise they were made.

I have done a fair share of research about this subject for more than 30 years. I will keep things simple, but a lot of the women were taken by force. As it says in the ancient scriptures that the sons of God took wives of their choosing. The key word is "Took." Also, a lot of the women burst open while trying to carry the giant babies or giving birth to the giant babies. What women would want to die while giving birth to a giant baby? Absolutely none. That is because many of the women didn't have a choice in the matter. The sons of God could make themselves the size of normal people, but their giant Nephilim offspring did not have the exact same abilities as their angelic fathers. There is another explanation for the Nephilim after the flood. The watchers DNA was inferior to human DNA. So the women were the carriers of the Nephilim recessive genetics. So Ham's wife had the recessive Nephilim chromosome seeing that the Nations that had giants after the flood were descendents of Ham. Something you may not have considered: Depending on when the Watchers fell, the Nephilim were on earth through several generations, and could have procreated with humans as well. Perhaps the Nephilim gene was passed on through one of Noah's daughter-in-laws and eventually brought giants back into the world. Just a thought...would love your opinion.
I've heard that theory as well and think it has strong possibility. If all the world was corrupted, as scripture suggests, and only Noah and his son's were not, then the woman likely carried genetic corruption. Another theory is that the prior world had technology that far surpassed our own (pyramids, vimana, etc.). If so, some could have escaped the flood off-world or in deep underground bunkers.
As far as I’ve ever learned, it was Ham’s wife that was carrying the giant gene. Perhaps she looked “normal” because after the flood, the giants were much much smaller. Goliath was a much smaller giant than those before the flood
I am a theologist and a occultic researcher; I can tell you what I think happened an I'm not saying it's guaranteed to be right however using all the ancient texts I have read as my source for my theory I believe as scripture and the book of Enoch says that at some point the fallen Angels begin to sin against animals reptiles fish etc. Now whether that was them doing genetic testing as some of my colleagues believe or if it was a bestiality sexual thing but what is clear is The offsprings from these interactions is where we got a lot of the humanoid cryptids we hear up today and of course ancient Sumerian and Egyptian gods we're also depicted as humanoids with animal heads or animal characteristics. It would be hard to kill all nephilim when some of them literally were aquatic. Which means if at some point they bred yet again with women on shores eventually you would see that seed return. However it seems clear the further away from the original generation of the fallen angels the smaller and less powerful they became. That doesn't mean that they were weak and that they weren't tall but I believe the great deluge was not necessarily to kill all of the nephilim just the first few generations that according to ancient text were taller than we could even imagine... @@riasapta4109 I think possibly, maybe even as a land version as some of the Middle East Apocrypha text seem to indicate that Leviathan might be what we would call a sea serpent but basically it's just a dragon with no legs or wings which would make behemoth the Land version with legs and arms and maybe even wings (although again that depends on the text you read). I am a man of God and faith and I don't think the God I know created it all would make anything without a clear purpose, at least initially. It was so incredibly damning to humans when God has been so focused on steering humanity out of the wickedness that has engulfed the world. The Watchers didn't beg for those they corrupted to be forgiven. They begged for their own forgiveness. They were unconcerned about the consequences humans suffered, because of their meddling. Their request of Enoch to intercede for them was based on their own selfishness.

According to the book of jubilees there were pre flood inscriptions of magic on stones that were rediscovered after the flood. So humans probably reenacted whatever rituals were recorded and brought back the nephilim (or at least a lesser version of the nephilim).
Legends, this is correct. Jubilees chapter 7 explains how the giants survived. After the flood, Noah's grandson Canaan found tablets of stone with the teachings of the watchers . This is how they returned.

Chances are that Ham's wife was at least part nephilim and thus his descendants (the Canaanites) had some giants among them (Rephaim, Anakim, etc.). Could also mean that he tried to have incest with his mother (so he'd have a normal lineage) which would explain the curious passage about Noah's nakedness - in scripture, uncovering the nakedness is a euphemism for such an action. Of course, they all didn't settle in Gath and the surrounding areas, and thus they spread out to other parts of the world, which explains why many world religions speak about the giants. It's likely they were aware of their origin considering other giants like Og, the king of Bashan, settled in areas nearby Mt. Hermon (the landing site of the fallen angels where they decided to commit their unnatural acts with women and animals). These other giants (the ones that spread out across the world) who were aware of their origin likely decided to carry on the legacy of their "fathers" by teaching mankind about the "gods" (aka the watchers, as well as the demon spirits of the pre-flood nephilim, and the other fallen angels that rebelled with Lucifer) and to make sacrifices to them. Giants are still human beings, but are probably genetically engineered ones, rather than literal human/angel hybrids. The same could be said about whatever "monsters" (this term is used in the Book of Giants) were around in the days of Noah. Dinos were for sure real. I'm open to the idea of a species or two still surviving in the most remote areas of the world (the Amazon rainforest, the congo, etc.), but I'd need something compelling.

The nephilim wasn't meant to go to heaven or hell because being half-human and have fallen angel. Meaning hell wasn't created for man nor heaven created for evil. So I think when the flood happened it killed the nephilim (the Giants) their soul had nowhere to go and they roam the Earth as demons.

If God meant angels he would have said it. They were never mentioned. He did however make it clear who the children of God were, and who they took as mates. This is a huge reason Enoch is not in the bible because it's not of God. Just reading Enoch you can tell it is not the same spirit that led the writer in the book of Enoch. Watcher was their assignment. Michael, Raphael for instance done God's bidding in binding the fallen angels. And so some were able and allowed by God to remain there during the flood of Noah, which as we know Scripture says wiped out every living thing "on the (sur)face of the earth" - but not under the seas, evidently... Very good point at the end that I would also add to: the average height of a man at the time was roughly 4 1/2 feet. So if there was a tribe that was genetically inclined to gigantism or even just better diet and they stood 6ft or taller on average they would look as giants. The only reference in Jewish text they’d have to compare these tall men to would be the nephilim of old, the giants. Hence the term “Anak” meaning “Giant” in Hebrew. While there were reports of giant men in the bible (the tribes associated with Anak, Goliath, Goliath’s brother, king Og of Bashan) and they are attributed to the the Nephilim - it can easily be deduced that perhaps these men were just simply much larger than the writers of the text. Also, ancient Hebrew writing is very difficult to compare to English writing of today. Jewish writing was very known for using descriptors and callback to things before for analogous purposes. It would stand to reason that the term Nephilim would get thrown around for any enemy of the tribes of Israel if those enemies were larger in size
I think you're spot on! Even 2000 years ago the average height of a Roman male was around 5 foot 4 inches (think the average height of a North Korean male). The "giant barbarians" reported in Roman historian texts were probably 5'11'' or over 6' tall. But I don't think that the 10 foot or 13 foot things are accurate to history.
This also explains why the nephilim and the giant scene later after the flood are much smaller. Genetic diffusion would mean that the traits that make nephilim giant would get weaker and weaker over time. Remember that in the very beginning of the Israelites trying to conquer Canaan vasey giants that are described as tall enough to make the Israelites look like grasshoppers, and some are as tall as the cedars of Lebanon which are known to grow over 30 ft tall. And then multiple generations later, we see Goliath who is known to be the son of the giant of gath. It also says that he is 6 cubits and a span tall. Using the common cubit that would make him 9 foot 9, if use the Royal cubit that would make him approximately 11 ft tall. Goliath was so tall that his armor and shield and weapons are so big that it would take multiple men of normal size to carry them. Goliath was so big that these soldiers of Israel, the same army that conquered Caden, was terrified by the mere sight of him and they were so scared they wouldn't even gang up on him. Interestingly Cain’s genealogical lineage concludes with the name of a woman named Naamah (Genesis 4:22). Seth’s lineage concludes with Noah and his sons (Genesis 5:29). These are the last names mentioned in each respective pedigree before the flood. That’s not coincidental. What’s also interesting is Noah’s son is said to have uncovered his father’s nakedness which is a phrase described as sleeping with your father’s wife. (Leviticus 18:7). We then read an unusual phrase where the three sons of Noah are listed, followed immediately by Canaan being noted as the son of Ham. Why would this need clarification except that Ham and Noah’s wife (tradition says her name was Naamah) produced this child, and is why he is cursed by Noah! Naamah is from Cain’s line (a rarity to list a woman in a genealogical list unless it held some particular relevance). There is an ancient city bearing her name in the area near Babylon, likely she would’ve been expelled from Noah along with Ham and Canaan. Perhaps her lineage perpetuated Nephelim, tradition holds her to be a female demonic figure in the same way Lilith is. So it’s not a far stretch to see how their legacy and renown would continue if they were affiliated with perpetuating the Nephelim/Giant race. It should be further noted that the curse upon Canaan is that he will be a servant unto his BROTHERS (note, he’s identified as brothers to Shem and Japheth, and his father is explicitly named as Ham). There was also mention of a liquid firmament in the atmosphere then, having separated from the firmament below (the bottom which is obviously the ocean) on the Second day (with that being the only day that didn't end "and it was good" because a separation/strife is hardly ever a good thing. What are the chances that the giants, some of which were hundreds of feet tall, ALL died in a flood? Back when I was a kid, there was a huge flood in our town which drowned many of the zoo animals. But the elephant managed to wedge herself into a tree and hung on for 3 days, and they rescued her with a crane. If an elephant can survive a flood, why wouldn’t at least some Nephilim (who are half human and half fallen angel) survive when they’re so much bigger and smarter than an elephant?

It was not only to usurp his father's headship, and prevent his father from having any more children through her, it was also for some genetic reason concerning his son Canaan. Ham's actual wife whom he took before the flood, was taken from the family line of Noah, so likely was not tainted. Only Cain's line was tainted.
For sure that the the origins of the 13 families that run the world (ex. Rockefeller) may have been hand picked by Satan as many of the families not only claim to be but they all have DNA that is abnormal to humans. It's a rabbit hole many aren't prepared for.
There is one other possibility, based on Hopi culture, there were those known as Annunaki, the ant people, who the Hopi went to live with underground before the flood. The assumption is they were people who looked like ants, but the petroglyphs indicate they were giants with crazy headgear. @@Konton0178 I believe it’s in Jubilees or Jasher where they built their own ark. Noah’s ark was consumed by a volcano and the giants ark is the one that was discovered in Turkey. The story of Gilgamesh illustrates how they survived. Utnapishtim is Noah in the story.
The word Anakim translates as "Long Neck" and many other Nephllim tribes in the Levant have telling translations i.e The Zansumine translates as The Buzzing one's.L.A Marzulli and Gary Stearman believe that the name's may denote some sort of Genetic traits.

In my opinion, there was a second incursion. This is evident in the reduced size of the post-flood nephilim, as seen in numbers and native American traditions. Due to genetic and environmental changes after the flood humans lived shorter lives and were probably smaller in size (everything pre-flood was gigantic why are humans an exception). This I believe would have also affected the general size of the Nephilim after the flood, making them a lot smaller (around 9-15ft) compared to the ones before the flood. Of course, one must question what would give these other group of angels the audacity to repeat the same crime their predecessors were punished for. It doesn't seem plausible that they would have been unaware of an event profound enough to cause God himself to bring a flood on the earth. I concur with a second incursion. Otherwise, the Bible is wrong when it says every living thing died. That means every giant left alive died during the flood. One of Noah's daughter in laws might have had some genetics. Without the direct fallen angel influence, but several generations removed , it's reasonable to think some of the traits would carry. The timing of this video perfectly coincides with what the pastor at my local church made mention of which had me pondering. He personally believed that the Nephilim had all been wiped out in the flood and that Moses' scouts were exaggerating to scare everyone from attacking them. I, personally am not entirely convinced of this. Moses would know that what they were saying couldn't have been true and would've called them out for lying but he doesn't which tells me that there must've been some credibility to making such a claim. I've also run into reports of the military sighting giants among caves and underground in certain parts of the world. I think it's very possible that some of these Nephilim or their descendents, hid underground when the flood occurred.

We have giants in our family. It's a pituitary gland problem, but while it's treatable with medication, it still doesn't completely alleviate the problem. One of my relatives is 6' 8" even after taking medication and in the past, we've had people close to 9 feet tall.

It might have been the case that either Ham or his wife had the DNA of the Nephilim and passed it to the Anakins. In my opinoin, the Anakins were not as tall and as powerful as the Nephilim. As it says in the ancient scriptures that the sons of God took wives of their choosing. The key word is "Took." Also, a lot of the women burst open while trying to carry the giant babies or giving birth to the giant babies. What women would want to die while giving birth to a giant baby? Absolutely none. The sons of God could make themselves the size of normal people, but their giant Nephilim offspring did not have the exact same abilities as their angelic fathers. There is another explanation for the Nephilim after the flood. The watchers DNA was inferior to human DNA. So the women were the carriers of the Nephilim recessive genetics. I've heard that theory as well and think it has strong possibility. If all the world was corrupted, as scripture suggests, and only Noah and his son's were not, then the woman likely carried genetic corruption. According to the book of jubilees there were pre flood inscriptions of magic on stones that were rediscovered after the flood. So humans probably reenacted whatever rituals were recorded and brought back the nephilim (or at least a lesser version of the nephilim).

Giants are still human beings, but are probably genetically engineered ones, rather than literal human/angel hybrids. Very good point at the end that I would also add to: the average height of a man at the time was roughly 4 1/2 feet. So if there was a tribe that was genetically inclined to gigantism or even just better diet and they stood 6ft or taller on average they would look as giants. The only reference in Jewish text they’d have to compare these tall men to would be the nephilim of old, the giants. Hence the term “Anak” meaning “Giant” in Hebrew. I think you're spot on! Even 2000 years ago the average height of a Roman male was around 5 foot 4 inches (think the average height of a North Korean male). The "giant barbarians" reported in Roman historian texts were probably 5'11'' or over 6' tall. But I don't think that the 10 foot or 13 foot things are accurate to history.

Interestingly Cain’s genealogical lineage concludes with the name of a woman named Naamah (Genesis 4:22). Seth’s lineage concludes with Noah and his sons (Genesis 5:29). These are the last names mentioned in each respective pedigree before the flood. That’s not coincidental.

Naamah is from Cain’s line (a rarity to list a woman in a genealogical list unless it held some particular relevance).

There was also mention of a liquid firmament in the atmosphere then, having separated from the firmament below (the bottom which is obviously the ocean) on the Second day (with that being the only day that didn't end "and it was good" because a separation/strife is hardly ever a good thing. Also, the "day" could be one of God's days, which is like 1,000 years to us, so I can't wrap my head around how different things were before us in general), which likely provided protection against the sun's harmful UV rays (also taking into account that the planet itself was upright instead of slightly crooked like it is now as well as was a single, huge landmass (Pangea)) and indicated a perfect climate and general vitality with all life in general.

What are the chances that the giants, some of which were hundreds of feet tall, ALL died in a flood? Back when I was a kid, there was a huge flood in our town which drowned many of the zoo animals. But the elephant managed to wedge herself into a tree and hung on for 3 days, and they rescued her with a crane. If an elephant can survive a flood, why wouldn’t at least some Nephilim (who are half human and half fallen angel) survive when they’re so much bigger and smarter than an elephant?

According to the Book of Jasher, Noah carefully selected wives for his sons from his family line. But there was some reason why Ham wanted offspring from his own mother. It was not only to usurp his father's headship, and prevent his father from having any more children through her, it was also for some genetic reason concerning his son Canaan.
Ham's actual wife whom he took before the flood, was taken from the family line of Noah, so likely was not tainted. Only Cain's line was tainted.

Interestingly, the grapes in the land where the Nephilim lived were giant as well. So this makes me believe that they were able to develop produce to accommodate their size because after they were destroyed, I don't remember reading the Hebrews mentioning grapes that size again.

In my opinion, there was a second incursion. This is evident in the reduced size of the post-flood nephilim, as seen in numbers and native American traditions. Due to genetic and environmental changes after the flood humans lived shorter lives and were probably smaller in size (everything pre-flood was gigantic why are humans an exception). This I believe would have also affected the general size of the Nephilim after the flood, making them a lot smaller (around 9-15ft) compared to the ones before the flood. Of course, one must question what would give these other group of angels the audacity to repeat the same crime their predecessors were punished for. It doesn't seem plausible that they would have been unaware of an event profound enough to cause God himself to bring a flood on the earth. It is more likely there was a condition they adhered to, to avoid God's judgement. A condition that would have allowed them to work their as part of Satan's agenda under the divine providence of God. Ham's wife having nephilim dna doesn't hold weight either. Why would God send a flood to cleanse the human race of its corruption, only to allow one of their descendants survive and continue the problem. 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️

One of Noah's daughter in laws might have had some genetics. Without the direct fallen angel influence, but several generations removed , it's reasonable to think some of the traits would carry. The timing of this video perfectly coincides with what the pastor at my local church made mention of which had me pondering. He personally believed that the Nephilim had all been wiped out in the flood and that Moses' scouts were exaggerating to scare everyone from attacking them. I, personally am not entirely convinced of this. Moses would know that what they were saying couldn't have been true and would've called them out for lying but he doesn't which tells me that there must've been some credibility to making such a claim. I've also run into reports of the military sighting giants among caves and underground in certain parts of the world. I think it's very possible that some of these Nephilim or their descendents, hid underground when the flood occurred.

There is a Jewish story about this. I don't know I ever learned the origin of this story but I remember hearing it discussed. There was one Giant spared from the flood, the King of the Nephilim named Og. He brings the last Unicorn to be saved trying to convince Noah to somehow save him from the Flood. Noah ties the Unicorn behind the Ark so it could swim behind the ship and not be drowned (the unicorn was really big as well, like the size of a mountain). Then Og, sitting on the highest peak waiting to die jumps onto the back of the Unicorn and tells Noah he will eat all the food passed out to feed the Unicorn, and Noah seeing the Giant could smash the Ark makes him a deal: Noah would allow him to stay behind them, and he would feed Og but only if Og swore to serve him and his descendants once they reached dry land again, and Og having no options agreed. Og had been steadily growing smaller over this time because there was not much food for him. Once they landed on Ararat Og was put to work building the settlements houses, working the land into fields, and then helping Noah replant all the lost plants of the Earth. Og would continue to shrink over this time, still being gigantic, and served the Israelites under Abraham all the way to taking the Lands of Canaan. There he would settle among Canaanites and become the King of Bashon, breaking his oath to Israel. Moses would defeat him by striking the vein in his ankle, ending Mog. But his descendants were already spread among the lands of men leaving behind giant warriors and kings.

Even with modern science we've come to find that there were multiple species of humans on the planet from the Cro-Magnon to the modern homo sapien. We have giants in our family. It's a pituitary gland problem, but while it's treatable with medication, it still doesn't completely alleviate the problem. One of my relatives is 6' 8" even after taking medication and in the past, we've had people close to 9 feet tall.
I’m aware of the health problem you are talking about but I don’t think people with the rate pituitary gland problem are related to the fallen angels or nephlim, who were evil and very strong and I think much bigger than what we consider “giants” today.

It might have been the case that either Ham or his wife had the DNA of the Nephilim and passed it to the Anakins. In my opinoin, the Anakins were not as tall and as powerful as the Nephilim. I also don't believe that the Sons of God had physical intercourse with those women. Since they were spirit beings and hyperintelliegent, they were probably doing some gene splicing. An act only reserved for the Creator Himself. Also, Sons of God are beings directly created by God. Adam is called a Son of God, but is children are called Sons of men.

There is also another simple explanation found in the book of Enki and how some of the Nephilim survived the flood. They had build their own ark, but it was not like the one Noah build, but it was a cube that would tumble on the waters.

From what I've read, it was a mix of both: some women chose to be with the angels and some were taken from their husbands. God punishes both outcomes for being so beautiful that it made the angels abandon their posts and turned the women into sirens.
