Just got my Lady Mandarin 2 pack this December as a gift for myself! Yeah, she really deserves the no.1 spot🙌. Just waiting for Mandarin. Hope he gets a fabric robe. Could be a deluxe! Man, can't wait🔥. Hopefully in 2025!
I own almost exclusively female Marvel Legends figures and this list has some really great choices! I'm a little upset that the cape for Lady Mandarin makes her very hard to pose for me but she is a great figure. I was also VERY impressed by Power Princess and Warbird. Great list!
Nice choices. I have the She-Hulk and Hasbro surpassed my expectations of them. The Titania has my eye, but female figures tend to go on sale so I am playing chicken and waiting. I'm not impressed by the Wolfsbane but happy to have that X-Factor team complete. My brother got the Phoenix. It looks nice. I'm not a fan of Phoenix, just Jean Grey.

Nice list ! Ma Gnucci is a deep cut, love it! Marina, new hellcat, updated valkrie are musts. Frenzy is a great choice, she’s powerful and an underrated character, but in new xmen gear or does she need to be in acolyte gear. Manny, that Jean xmen 87 is a trash figure. Great list I missed out on a few of these this year which sucks. I’m missing Titania, phoenix, lilandra, evil psylock, crystal I still want them all though :-(
Honestly the biggest bug bear for me with most of the female figures is the lack of neck mobility, they need to sort out the hair to figure out how to get the mobility right plus the scale issues are annoying warbird being small and in need of heels to be more accurate and the lady Mandarin being super tall. I ended up removing lilandra, goblin queen and lady mandarin's cloaks as the plastic is so cumbersome.
That Wasp is my #2 behind She-Hulk! I don’t mind the waist because it keeps her torso looking old school and sleek, and I still got tons of good flying poses out of her. And a top tier head sculpt 🐝

The straight hair keeps the Phoenix out of my top 5. Classic Phoenix had wavy red hair, not straight. For me, that's a glaring oversight because that's NOT the classic look of Jean Grey when she wore that costume. It's pretty good otherwise, but getting her hair wrong is a major mistake for me. They can do the accurate Byrne hair for She-Hulk but not for Phoenix?? Come on, Legends. Just feels lazy to me. Regardless of my take on that, I really enjoyed your list, and agree with most of them. I really loved the Warbird figure.
They should show some love to the Women of Marvel and make an all female wave with a BAF, but who should be the BAF, and what female characters would you pick?
I know my top 10 is 1. Jean Grey from X-MEN 97, 2. She Hulk, 3. Classic 60s Wasp, 4. Sharon Carter with long hair, 5. Goblin Queen because she's a baddie for sure, 6. Lilith, 7. Destiny because it's cool to have her, 8. Lilandra, 9.Wolfsbane because I don't have an attachment to X Factor, 10. Red Widow.
So I don't get the Psylocke figure thing. But DO NOT go by me. I'm bitter because there is two Psylocke figures I'm in bad need of to complete teams. And I got this. Sure but i been waiting for a 90s psylocked (cause I missed the original) forever...and waiting almost as long for a classic hooded Psylocke for my Outback X-men. I could do a top ten female.....But I didn't get as many females. Im waiting still for Lilandra to go down in price. I do NOT need that wolverine and 2 packs get annoying at times cause of that. It's sad because she looks amazing. Waiting for Crystal to get a little lower because Lockjaw was done lazy in the legs. Which is also sad cause she also looks amazing. This would put Wasp and Wolfsbane on my list by default. everyone else you have on your list would be on mine in different order. With She-hulk as the winner. Because I been waiting for a She-hulk figure like that since the Toybiz days. Next would be Phoenix who is a close second. That is me being bias cause I love Jean. Power Princess at 3. We got 21 female figs from Hasbro and 18 from McFarlane this year. It’s really a non issue. They’re really close in terms of how many they made.
