Excellent collection brother..im a lifelong Marvel Comics reader who started out as a fan during the Stan Lee.. Jack Kirby.& Steve Ditko era ..i was in elementary school & what made me a HUGE Marvel fan was the fact that im a lifelong NYC resident as well..& i loved the fact that the Fantastic Four & Avengers were in Manhattan..& Spider Man was out in Queens.. The Hulk ended up becoming my favorite character..even tho he was one of the few Marvel characters back then who was based in the Southwest..NOT NYC..lol..but the fact that the Marvel Universe was based in the REAL world..so i could TOTALLY relate I got into Marvel Legends a few years back after getting a few as gifts along the way.. but i definitely caught an addiction along the way... but since i live in a Brooklyn apartment..my collection size is limited... unlike your amazing collection.. luckily for my wallet as well..i have to be focused on just a few teams & im always checking out Ebay & Mercari for stuff on the aftermarket.or online at Amazon or Hasbro Pulse for new shit..its sucks that NYC has very few Targets.. Walgreens..& Walmarts..but the few here don't seem to carry ML .. Anyways i can't imagine trying to collect in Australia with the HUGE shipping costs & taxes on top of taxes..i think I heard you say in the video that the Haslab Giant Man is $600 over there..??.. Meantime you get people here CRYING every time the prices go up even slightly...& since many of them don't know what causes prices to go up & believe that Hasbro is GREEDY.. as if they shouldn't want to make money.. also I'm surprised that ML prices aren't even HIGHER considering that when Fossil Fuel prices go up..EVERY product that uses them goes up as well..& plastic is one of them..i actually believe that ML doesn't charge as much as they could considering that they manufacture some OBSCURE characters.. that only long time fans could identify.. much less buy.. Al right my friend my rant is over..😂 Looking forward to seeing more updates on your collection 👊
such an insane collection/display. i remember seeing your old videos and being blown away. One of the best xmen displays iv ever seen, if not the best. i think about how many different xmen teams youve made from time to time one of the very few collection videos iv seen that actualy stuck with me, the dedication to xmen teams is simply impressive
@@chrisbob3007 Hey I just posted a comment but I forgot to ask.... didn't you say in a video you put out last year or so that you were trying to DOWNSIZE your collection..or maybe sell the ENTIRE thing? I'm guessing that's no longer the case ..lol ..it's seems like you've the exact OPPOSITE.... you've added many of the newer MLs. Anyways keep up the good work 👑
@robertfalcone3025 haha yea I was looking to sell, and would still sell now if I had an offer but I don't wanna split it up and sell separately and think that it's probably gonna be hard to find someone that's keen to spend that amount on the whole collection
I really want a line of figures based on earth 8311, and given that the characters are smaller, they could do 2 in a box for the price of one standard figure.
Just watched your video from last year, was impressed. But wow, this is a museum! Like I said, my collection are only X-Men heroes and villains from the Jim Lee Retro 90's Era. There are about 90 figures in total, so my collection is almost complete! I can't wait till I can just enjoy my collection, not having the need to buy anymore unless they remake an old character or make characters to complete the collection in this era like Rachel Summers and Feral! Wonderful collection. Invest in insurance for your collection because that's a huge financial investment! 💰💰💰 Protect your house from floods, fires and anything!!!
Now you can make an update video showing all of the characters that were released this year and announced for next year that will fill some holes. Don't have to do the whole wall again, just the new figs.
Amazing collection, Chris! Your collection video from last year is one of my favorites to watch from time to time, so I was happy to see an update. Good stuff, man! Also, I’d love to see a new Nightcrawler figure, even though the old Hasbro one is great.
Loved seeing the new update I actually watched last years multiple times cuz I love watching display videos and yours was so comprehensive I loved it. I’d also consider adding a Luke cage to the weapon x program shelf if you’re going to add non mutants like cap cuz he also went through that program
First video of yours I’ve seen. Love your collection. I’m moving on from a lot of my marvel legends, have some AIM and Hydra troops, including Hydra 2 pack I’d be willing to part w/ to help you out. I live in New York though, idk what shipping is like to NZ
I'm so happy you've done another video. I loved the last one and I know you said that it has got bigger since last year so I'm just about to indulge now. I know I'm gonna love it before I've even watched it. Top man 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
@o_oo_o1812 thanks for the input! Will look to split the display up into separate videos in the future eg just x-men etc. Any specific content you would be keen to see more of?
@@chrisbob3007 i'm sort of interested in your customs. you could highlight them a bit more. I know a lot of collectors prefer to have everything "official", but customs are one of the things that really differentiate one collection from another. I watch a lot of these videos, so I'm seeing the same figures over and over. when you have a nice display, i'm really interested in how you filled it out. i liked how you gave dark phoenix her own shelf. it' looks cool and thematic. I imagine as big as your collection is you look at it as maybe a waste of space, but i like it. one collector whose videos i sometimes watch is a big iron man fan. his hall of armor was a centerpiece of his display and i really liked it, but eventually he took it down for space, which i thought was disappointing. i think his name is danobe2, he makes good videos if you're interested.
Beautiful collection! One team I wish they would do but highly doubt is Sinisters Nasty Boys. Patiently waiting for them to do more Imperial Guards, Morlocks, Marauders, new Holocaust and Abyss.
Oh mate the Nasty boys is high on my list... I have mentioned that I want that team in previous videos but didn't in this one. Yea it takes too long to get teams completed
Ash Williams (Army of darkness) have more equivalents of Ghost Rider, Iron Man, Thor, Hercules, Captain America, Hulk and dr strange from others dimensions, Ash or Guts / Gatsu (berserk) have the Armor godkiler or Tittanium Man, Psylocke made the Love with Ash, it would be great make more figures 30 cm Marvel Legends has more joints than titans heros series and it doesn't cost much than Hot Toys
That one is actually an unreleased figure that never made it to production. I believe someone had a bunch of the body's and added custom heads and sold them on Ebay
Tremendous! Great job. Additionally you can consider to make a small change for your giant size team. When thunderbird and sunfire were in the team, jean hadn’t attained her phoenix suit yet (#x-men 101) So you can consider either replacing jean with her pre-phonix version or get rid of thunderbird and sunfire if you want to. Keep up the good work!
Yea in quite a few of my teams I have characters together who were never in the team at the same time but consider them close enough to display together otherwise I end up with lots of similar looking teams
Na its expensive enough as it is collecting Legends to try get them too. Some of them look pretty good though, like Gambit and Psylocke, but happy sticking to legends for now

I'm a 29 years, 8 months Collector, I started April 2nd, 1994. I have built 10 different Earth's, 6 DC, 3 Marvel, and an Earth Between that is Heroes and Villains from the Past and Future. Despite having twice as many DC Earth's I probably have twice as many Marvel Figures. I have, on Earth 616 an 8 member Fantastic Four as I count Thundra and Sharon Ventura as well as Franklin and Valerie. On 616 I also have 75 Avengers, but that's 5 Hank Pym, 2 Scott Lang, 2 Carol Danvers, 8 Customs and 3 Fudges. In X-Men I have 58 divided into 4 teams and a small Mansion staff. Now, I do my 4 Teams different from most people. I go back to the Original Concept of each Team. Especially X-Factor and X-Force. X-Factor as the Public Face of Mutants, X-Force as the Lethal Strike Force. Basically, the more popular and photogenic Members are in X-Factor, the ones willing to kill are X-Force. Instead of Excalibur I have built a British Super Team I call United Kingdom 🇬🇧! I have fudged a lot of it. I put a union Jack sticker on an Iron Man, call him Britannic, and say he's British Inventor George Wells. LOL. My Earth 777 is undergoing a huge transformation. It was my Toy Biz Marvel, but I have replaced a lot of it, and also threw in the Power Rangers. Earth 818 is my Futuristic Marvel. I have Avengers, Children of the Avengers, X-Men are led by Old Man Logan. I lie, cheat and Fudge. My Evil Kree Avengers, my Skrull Avengers, I have good guy Wakandan Avengers! My Silver Sable Wild Pack is pretty small still. I also do Super Agents of SHIELD.
@futuradrama yea, I don't have the same disposable income I did when I bought the bulk of these but have been collecting them for nearly 15 years now. Definitely cut back this year
@21:46 "F us guys' ....huh? Looks like they are in storage rather than on display. Takes the appeal out of viewing a collection and the soul out of the figures. Regret sitting through these dull badly lit shelving units. This really is not an effective display. Watched way better show boating videos where the host is pleasant rather than boring and arrogant.
