Amidst the tongue clucking, whistling and kissing sounds and words you already deciphered, I thought I heard 'what's cooking' (at 1:32) and 'private parker' (at 3:02). Haha.
i have a budgie, and i also want an african grey parrot. but i dont know if i should get one. would it be dangerous to my budgie (not that i plan to keep them in the same cage if i get one)? will it be too much work? is the plucking problem really bad or no?
Irina Vitruk Should you get one? No. Greys are almost too smart to keep. Yes it is a lot of work. The plucking problem will be the start of many if you don't do extensive research, understand your responsibilities, and plan to have your Grey for the rest of your life. Commitment is a whole new ball game when you buy a parrot that lives for 60+ years.
Plucking feathers is not normal for parrots, I can't be diet realted but it's probably something stressing it out, or upsetting it. You need to make sure your grey gets plenty of exercise, clipping their wings is increadibly dangerous for African greys and it almost always causes phobias in greys, try touch training with a stick and starting to fly over the course of a few months, that should sort it
That was an excellent crow impersonation!
How is this the only video on this channel?! We demand more Roscoe!

Lack of freedom and choice cause feather picking as does boredom
