Roscoe - Timneh African Grey Parrot, Talking
This is Roscoe, my Timneh African Grey parrot talking and making various noises. Can you tell what he is saying, and which noises he is mimicking? :)
Hint: he loves his name.

Cute Bird. I love Grey's..
I have a Timneh African Gray, he’s nearly 40!
I got one a few months ago and he already loves me so much but doesn't have my full trust obviously but if yours is a talker when did he start?
Aboutaam's Vlogs talks here and then but none of it makes sense. Probably started very early but he’s older than be so I don’t know
Great bird. Keep it up
Wow they talk very clear.
I had one growing up, her name was Jamie
Nice crow sound..perfect
I have the same one that speaks too!
I like timneh parrots
First, I thought he Said "Rascal! " 😂😂
Yours is taking feathers... what type of diet does he have? My parrot (Timneh) is also taking is feathers :/
Antóp
Plucking feathers is not normal for parrots, I can't be diet realted but it's probably something stressing it out, or upsetting it. You need to make sure your grey gets plenty of exercise, clipping their wings is increadibly dangerous for African greys and it almost always causes phobias in greys, try touch training with a stick and starting to fly over the course of a few months, that should sort it
Lack of freedom and choice cause feather picking as does boredom
@@fabulously695 yes. Freedom, choices and activities are imperative.
i love Timneh African Grey Parrots!
i got black palm cockatoo
the most metal looking birb
@@madeliner1682Lol. Yes! Totally is! They even have a Mohawk, right!? 😮
my mom has just go one he is called buddy he is cute
cute!!
i have a budgie, and i also want an african grey parrot. but i dont know if i should get one. would it be dangerous to my budgie (not that i plan to keep them in the same cage if i get one)? will it be too much work? is the plucking problem really bad or no?
Irina Vitruk Should you get one? No. Greys are almost too smart to keep. Yes it is a lot of work. The plucking problem will be the start of many if you don't do extensive research, understand your responsibilities, and plan to have your Grey for the rest of your life. Commitment is a whole new ball game when you buy a parrot that lives for 60+ years.
I like your yuoutube video :) im wondering.. was the camera inside the cage? What type of camera is it?
That was an excellent crow impersonation!
Hey can u say me from where u ordered his cage , perch and toys... I have bought a Congo African grey and so it will be great if u help me out...
No
Is he still alive
@@abhishekpoddar5610 what happened , did he die of old age ?
Haha! You're probably right. :) I'll have to record some more and see if he says it more clearly.
Amidst the tongue clucking, whistling and kissing sounds and words you already deciphered, I thought I heard 'what's cooking' (at 1:32) and 'private parker' (at 3:02). Haha.
«Come here», «Hello», «Come on», «Hello», «water sound», «come on», «Private Parker come on», «What a...,»
Thanks! :)
Nice parrot
