I think I personally like singing it in coined word better than in English, but I gave it a go in English too. I had a version where I held out notes an unnecessary amount of time... but I ended up not using that version of the mix.

That's an amazing performance! I kinda prefer the deep booming thunderous male voice variants for the song's spirit, but this was stellar regardless.
So the song is essentially saying:
"Step forward, and let your blades sing alongside mine. So that we might cleave our names into the heavens themselves."
That's truly epic.
The best line imo is "if it is god you seek then you must look no further!"
I wholeheartedly agree with that; it's an absolutely banger of a line.
If the Joe Zieja version is Claude singing, then this is Dorothea singing. I can fully see her on the stage chronicling the final battle for Fodlan.
