I love how IDW truly carries this otherworldly, almost lovecraftian creature that is beyond conception, I love that cosmic horror for IDW unicron

@@Mekboy_ComputerMonster Yeah that was something I was somewhat diasppointed about the whole end of IDW, they seemed determined to erase any and all mysticism from the story; yeah, I know the G1 Cartoon had Unicron be built by an inventor, and made the transformers the creations of the Quintessons, but the other origins, with Prmus and Unicron as Physcal Gods, to me that's just so much better.
The design however, that was epic.

G1 Unicron is iconic, but I really love the different interpretations introduced in Prime and IDW where he’s more of an nigh-omnipotent deity whose true form cannot be comprehended.

I really dig Armada and Prime designs, but damn, that IDW one is on a whole different level.
Seeing Marvel Unicron makes me think that Jack Kirby would’ve been down with the Primus/Unicron origin. It just seems like something he’d write, y’know. Great ranking video as usual, can’t wait to see who’s next.

Unicron’s best design by far to me is his Prime look though the G1 version gives him a run for his money.
Interesting. My own least favourite design I've seen is the Prime design, it is honestly just ugly in the show (haven't looked at official art or anything like that so my opinion is purely about the way the show made him look)
@@oxcare5 Agreed honestly. He’s a case of “ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. Armada didn’t change too much of his design and IDW just expanded on the existing principles of his design. A variation of his classic look will always be my favorite
What I like about prime is that the way his forms are depicted from the rock as well as how his energy form "corrupts" megatron with a "rustier" form gives off the feel of "ancient primordial evil being", which at the end of the day is what Unicron is. People shit on the brown color scheme but it makes him feel like an ancient machine god.

When Prime dd it Unicron being Earth was an interesting concept, that they did quite well with, but even then I was disappointed that it cost us a proper Unicron.
When Last Knight did it it was just a cop out to excuse them from having to try, and really? Unicron's too big to do? They actively use a massive approaching planet in this film with Cybertron. It's clear that Transformers the Movie took inspiration from Star Wars, and Unicron's clearly based on the Death Star, if Lucasfilm could pull it off in 1977, Paramount could've done it 40 years later, they didn't want to, that's the truth.
Plus after revealing that Earth is literally cyber satan on top of all the s**t that humanity put the Transformers through in the bayverse, particularly after everything the Autobots sacrificed to protect them... yeah Bayverse Earth probably should just die.

The Mcdonalds toy is notable for not being released in most regions. I think it was a South America and Neatherlands exclusive
It was also released in Spain, because I got one in my Happy Meal as a kid.
Fun fact: The Unicron toy for g1 is used by tfwiki to denote figures or products that were scrapped or unreleased along with a Unicron quote
I like the Prime version of Unicron, the "rock". If anything his forms being made of rock makes him seem like an ancient, primordial being, which at the end of the day that's what he really is. You could just tell with one look that he is a primordial chaos being that has indeed aged many eons. Personally my favorite Unicron.

Fun fact the first time I first heard and found out about unicorn was TF prime which I wouldn't say is my favorite but is very nostalgic for that show in general put me on the transformers universe as a whole
The one thing i remember Unicron is when he summon a dying megatron and that is the 1st time i saw someone treated Megatron like a dirt.

I also like Energon toy version (the CG model on the other hand does not do the design justice), IDW (he represents chaos itself), G1 finalized version, Prime earth avatar body, Marvel pre-eldritch abomination, Derrick animated design concept, and Decepticonnaiden.

7:27 I find it funny that his voice actor also voiced Lord Tirek in MLPFiM, he voiced _two_ updated versions of iconic Hasbro villains, _both_ of which had _far_ more epic voices in their original incarnations... That's _not_ a coincidence I'm sure.

How in Primus name can you put the Bayverse Unicron above IDW? It's literally just a horn sticking out of earth and wasted potential and disappointment (like every Bayverse movie from DotM on), it doesn't even deserve to be on a list like this because it was thrown away in the movies.
@@zakkmylde1712 but the concept of him being the Earth is from TFP, something i enjoyed and didn't mind. but i never read the IDW comics and his IDW design is 🅒🅞🅞🅛, but i have my preferences and everyone else has theirs. let's all appreciate the designs of the Chaos Bringer himself

Even though it will forever be an unfinished prototype. I'd have like to see a colour palette given to the BW Neo Unicron. The level of detail in the mould, still looks really impressive.
When it comes to the face I don't like the sharp teeth or the long pointy mustache cause it makes him look less threatening for trying to make him look more eviler that he already is as a planet eating monster of Cybertronian biology.

In my school vr game there's a unicron from kiss players and it's not actually him but a cybertronian named redmaw and she's a powerful character revealing him/her when doing the shattered glass shade boss fight and during it him/her gives goalius the dark Star saber and killed sg shade
Y'all did the 01 Studio Cell figure *DIRTY* . It doesn't show the head in some of the promotional material due to copyright, but it does come with one. And in terms of movie accuracy it is the MOST accurate toy, no clumpy backpack like the crowdfunded Hasbro one either.

@@KainSpada09 More or less. But DOOM 2016 shows planets IN hell’s sky. And it’s made clear in Eternal the demons ravage entire worlds, no matter how advanced. It all implies Hell is an infinite dimension of its own, and their numbers endless. To rule over such a place…that’s just the kind of power Unicron is never depicted with. He’s becoming less and less of a god in each new version and more like an ancient being that newer creatures perceive as a god.

I feel like they did the one that came out alongside the haslab dirty as I own it and I fucking love it, it is the g1 unicron and theirs so much detail on the inside when you transform it you can see cool details and the head looks sick

I actually have a question, what's your opinion on the Rise f the Beasts Unicron? If you've seen the film because although we didn't see him transform in the movie but he did get to see his planet mode. So I'm curious of what you think of that design ^^

Have you considered to make a ranking about other universe transformers like the star wars, marvel or even Mc Donalds?
My Armada's Unicron's chest cannon broke back in 2007-08. It won't stay retracted. Since it's the part that's most likely to break, I guess I should be grateful it lasted 4-5 years. Was a fantastic toy nonetheless.
FINALLY THE CHAOS BRINGER GETS A TIER LIST
One design is missing. The Devil's Due version with Battlebeasts inside, and G. I. Joe going inside with a metal-eating spore made by Cobra-La. Even tfwiki ignores it in their Unicron entry, but I had ready the issues, and the fandom site does mention it. I would put it in the lower brackets.

I may be one of the few who dob't really like the IDW Unicron. I like the usage of rocks in it and how they are actually in orbit around his planet mode but his design is really busy other than that. Although I do like how his big horns are positioned in robot mode.
This was an Incredible Masterpiece for Unicron/The Chaos Bringer.

I actually like bw Unicron. It's just a head again, but it's the one head version that looks uncomfortably dead. Like it's a haunting spectre not because it's Unicron but because it's dead. Hollow black eyes suit him.

Every universe has its own unicron, may look different from each other but are all connected to the true form just like the unicron manifestation on earth are controlled by the unicron in the earth's core( tfp). If unicron is to rival Primus, he has to have himself present through the infinite curve, and since unicron is stronger we know he exists throughout the Omniverse.
