I love byomkesh bakshi amazing actor Rajit Kapoor Sir. I had met Sir in the mall. He was very humble and down to earth.

In DD Metro, there was Tiger and German detective serials like The Old Fox, Derrick and The Investigator. ❤❤❤❤

I am 23 years old, but I have watched all the episodes of Hercule Piorot on Amazon Prime, and I absolutely love it! 💖
My favorite was also Remington steel but also Moonlighting . As a kid of the 70s i was only exposed to these sort of shows in the 80s on vhs tapes which we got for our local video library .

I used to watch Byomkesh Bakshi during those days.
Sab yaad hai...besides that I also used to watch animation shows like Spider-Man, Mongli of Jungle Book, He-Man, etc...
I had forgotten about Ek Do Teen Char as I was too young to remember the episodes ☺️
But I remember the theme song .
And I was too young to even remember the name of the children's detective serial Faster Fene 😄
It was only when Sumeet Raghavan , who played the titular character as a child actor , posted pictures on the internet , that I remembered that this existed .
I sincerely wish someone would upload episodes of these Gems of Indian Television

Ooh I loved Remington Steele! The leads were gorgeous, and I loved the comedy. I did not watch Jugalbandi as a child. Never came across it, but will check it out. Hopefully the episodes will be available somewhere 😊
jugalbandi ke chakkar mein 5 rupay haar gaya tha. first episode mein benjamin gilanee ghayal ho jaate hain. maine shart lagaayi thi ki benji theek ho jayenge kyonki vo show ke hero hain lekin agale episode mein cast hi badal gayi. 9 saal ka ladka 90s mein 5 rupay haar gaya. by the way tom alter and radha seth were fab.
I vaguely remember Jugalandi. Perhaps at that age(born 1980)I didn't understand that stuff so didn't watch much. Still I can say Tom sir was a class apart to play such role. By the time Tehkikaat came I was thoroughly into it it had come after Byomkesh Bakshi. I remember the first time I had seen Saurabh Shukla. I was more into good looks but there was some spark in him.
When 21st Century started the era of detective shows ended and saas bahu era started😢😢
My fav was tehikiqat .. Shekhar Kapoor directed the first episode !!

With the introduction of online shopping in India , I purchased and have read all the Byomkesh stories ( English translation)
And the stories are fantastic as well

Now lets talk about this video... in my growing years my father used to like one detective series named "The Old Fox" and "Eddie Shoestring"... hence we also saw them... and i liked them aswell. hope you have seen them... I though you would have covered them as well. Tell me what you think.😊

When ppl ask me whether I watched Sherlock Holmes series, I ask them, which one: Shammi Kapoor or Bhimsen Joshi? :-) Anybody else noticed the similarities?
Jamie, ek serial aata tha "Intezaar". Meri memory kehti hai ki uska title song "Bhukhe ko roti ka.....", Suresh Wadkar ne gaaya tha. I am 99% sure, because some other guy was saying it was sung by Jagjit Singh. Still I believe it was SW. Can you put some light on this?
I cannot remember this one.
should be SW as i remember the serial very well. Intezaar was shot on railway platform based on life of common. Don't remember the characters now. many years have passed I was a in my early teens.
