Excellent video, I am wondering about the grip since I have an eastern forehand and usually try to switch to the Eastern backhand to get more spin, not continental like you said. Thoughts?
Thanks for the comment! It might be worth trying the continental. In that grip the paddle head is further under the ball and I get more topspin compared to an eastern.
Solid instruction, great camera angles/quality. How'd you decide on the Simon X? Sold my Tutor, looking at the ERNE. Thanks for taking the time to post.
Thanks for another great video. I believe the triple threat is Roll, Punch, or Drop. Correct? The text reads Roll, Roll, or Drop.
Great catch! Sorry about that. The triple threat is roll, punch, drop. Thanks!
Thank you for this clear explanation of the roll volley.
Thank you!
I am a new player and am excited about learning this fun game. Your video was very helpful. Looking forward to seeing more. Thank you!

Thank you! 🙏🏻
Love your specific instructions.
Thank you very much!
Great video! Is the roll volley similar to the flick or are they different?
Great question: they are different
Loved this lesson.
Rock on!
Great video many thanks 🙏🏽
Thank you!

Thank you! The Simon actually belongs to my friend. I have heard good things about Erne.
Great video. I would like to see an example of a forehand roll volley.
Coming soon! Thank you for the comment!
WHERE is that beautiful court? Beautiful surroundings? I think I'd like to live there 😊
Me too! 😆 It’s outside of Nashville
can you roll a forehand as well as backhand?
You sure can. Coming soon. Thanks for the comment!
Lean forward and be sure to "brush" the back of the ball as you roll up n over..
Get the ball early as well...
Love it - thank you!
Looks like a lot of wrist movement, is that correct?
Looks like a wrist flick. You can also use your shoulder for more power.
For people just starting out, I would suggest start with turning your forearm and then gradually using your wrist.
Do you ever do clinics/camps?
Coming soon! I will begin in Nashville. Thanks for the question
Good job explaining
Thank you!
