A powerful magnet can sometimes pull out slivers of metal if it's magnetic, saved my eye once, I was under a truck, and a big piece of rust fell right into my eye, had a strong magnet handy and put it up to the eye and it yanked the rust right out.

Rust is the eye is terrible. I might have to try that with a magnet next time that happens. Wisconsin vehicles are 90% rust underneath if they are older than 10 years, so rust in the eye happens a lot lol.
