Hello friends! I pronounced my inspiration channel incorrectly. It’s I GOT DYE ON IT. I don’t know why I couldn’t see that! 🤪 Thank you to those of you that pointed this out so I can correct it. #igotdyeonit ❤️🌈
Glad to see the microwave lid worked out after all. Keep playing around with this pattern. It’s a great basic pattern that can achieve really good results. If I was a Mario fan, I’d be happy getting this shirt. ✌🏻
Yes, the lid worked a lot better than I thought it would. I really like this pattern. It’s great for putting odd colors next to each other. Thank you for watching and commenting! ❤️🌈
I will try the microwave cover. I have a good sturdy hemostat but I still have a hard time making those nice tight spirals. Good suggestion. Thanks again for sharing your talents! 💖♥️🏵♥️💖
Good luck! I’m loving the microwave cover more and more. Be careful. It the shirt seems stuck to the table stop! I’ve ripped a couple holes. I also spend a lot of time pulling the loose ends tight under the rubber bands. Tighter isn’t ALWAYS better…. it does make saturation harder. 😉❤️🌈
Good on you for sharing where you got an idea. The channel is I GOT DYE ON IT . I can tell you think about all aspects. As I was watching I’m bobbing my head and thinking this is video game music and I remembered I saw a flash of Mario, then it came full circle at the end. You’re a good friend. I bet he will really like this cool shirt. You’re growing on me.
Well said! Thank you, Robert. I try to give credit where credit is due... I don’t know how I didn’t see it! I feel so dumb! I’ll have to correct it in the next tutorial. Yes, I tried to make this all about the video game Mario Brothers. Thanks for noticing. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate it. 😁❤️🌈
This is a really fun tutorial. High energy. The channel you’re giving the shout out to is I got dye on it. How did you not see that? 😂 I got a chuckle hearing you say it. I appreciate you giving credit to other creators. We all learn from each other. I got really lucky 30 years ago and was taught by a really neat group of people how to tie dye. We didn’t have RUclips back then. Your generation is lucky. I have to say, what is being made now is leaps and bounds ahead of the curve from when I started. Keep it up. Stephanie, you’re doing a great thing by sharing the art with others. 💜
I know!!! Others have told me. 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ I can’t believe I couldn’t figure it out. I’ll make it right next time. We are lucky we have RUclips and the internet in general to search out information. You’d have to know someone back in the 60’s, otherwise how would you even know where to start!?!? My uncle said the same thing. He said the colors now are way brighter. Thank you so much, Penelope. You’re very kind. 😍❤️🌈
Came out very nice! I think the two reds may have added some depth. I’ve been trying to find a good mechanical aid to make spirals for awhile and have tried something similar to your lid. Still looking for the best method!
Thank you very much!! 😁 I agree, the two reds worked out in my favor. I was actually surprised at how well this lid helped out. I really didn’t think it would. It is only $6.99 right now, I think. I put a link for it in the description box if you want to check it out. I wish I had a tool that would tie up all my shirts so all I have to do is play in the dye. 😉❤️🌈
Good question, Laura. A thicker outline would just become another spiral. It would look great. I specifically wanted to avoid any and all purple on this one, so I outlined with a dark color. This is a great technique for putting two hard colors together like blue and orange. The dark outline hides the muddy brown. I hope that answers your question. It’s really hard to mess up spirals. They are very universal. ❤️🌈
@@lauragoldstein2506 No problem! Sorry it took so long to reply. I had to work and was too tired last night to get to the computer. Don’t hesitate to ask questions anytime. 😉❤️🌈
@@lbrennan2479 I was just glad I found the right channel! I had seen their tutorial last year I think. I had months of previous views to filter through. I was exhausted by then. At least that’s my excuse. 😂 I’m going to go with it. 😜 ❤️🌈
Thanks honey! Jax loves it!!!!
I’m so happy to hear it!!!! 🥰❤️🌈

Thank you, Jules! ❤️🌈

I do too, I’m going to try it in other color combinations. Thanks for the comment. 😉❤️🌈

@@BelladonnaDyesCo The quality and availability of dye is SO much better now. Dharma has been there for it all. 🥰💜
This is awesome. I didn’t know Mario Brothers is still a thing. 💗🌀
I didn’t know either! 😂❤️🌈

This is a great video. I think I’ll try this out but instead of red I’ll use green. Thank you.
Thank you! I think green will look really good. I’d love to see your results. ❤️🌈
So pretty. What would happen if the black was a thicker line? Would it affect the outline much?
I meant would it affect the OUTCOME much??
