Finals week almost killed me but I got through it and so will next years freshman! My biggest tip is just to not make a big deal out of it. as a freshman that started school 3 weeks ago, carrying my bag around me has been immensely easier than using a locker. i just have one binder with dividers in it for every class and it's great. also YES please do not walk slow in the hallway, older kids do that and it's genuinely so annoying

In my district they had open house hours every day for the whole week before school started so you could go any day or multiple days and walk your schedule to get an idea of what you were doing. Super helpful to everyone regardless of what year you were in.
Me and my best friend are probably the luckiest in the world. We are in the same form and our schedules match up exactly. We have also seen way to many people trying to remember their locker code while we just use a really large backpack to share stuff and take turns carrying it lol

For the first week or so, it's just adjusting to your new classes, but after that, try and make some new friends. It's always nice to have friends in the other grades to help give you advice and what not. 2. Join any extracurricular that you find interesting. I know it might be intimidating sometimes, but I promise you it's worth it. I got involved with my schools drama club freshman year and it was a really great way to make friends and be involved. 3. Stay. Out. Of. Drama. I mean it. School will be so much more peaceful for you if you just avoid drama. Gossiping about people is almost always bad, unless it's someone that messed with you personally or your bestie, you might not know the whole story. 4. Don't be friends with mean people. People assume what you act like based on how your friends act like. Just be nice and most people will be nice back. Unless they're a jerk. Anyway, that's it, good luck and I promise it's not as scary as you think it's going to be.

At my school we could always tell who the freshman are based on them struggling with their locker. Not because it’s hard to open at first but because nobody uses their locker. Only people who do sports will put their equipment in there. No decorating or holding individual books. You just carry your backpack around with you. It’s so much easier imo and by the 2nd week they get the hint and stop using the lockers 💀. I’ve never even knew where my locker was my high school school experience. And I was lucky enough to know people before hand that told me nobody used their lockers.
None of the freshman in my year ever touched their locker as all of us already knew they were dumb and to just carry backpacks most of the freshman now know that already

I’m in 8th and ima be so stressed out and have such bad anxiety
Only difference is that my high school doesn't have lockers
I love that my school has two campuses but holy shit I don't wanna do this shit again junior year😭
I’m in eighth grade and I’m happy I’m in homebound because I would be lost in the school if I was not in homebound
POV your gonna be a freshman next year but it’s fine because all your friends are already in high school ( my bestie is currently a sophomore)
As a 9th grade kid i can say that this is exaggerated in my school i have not seen anyone act like this but i know it does happen somewhere 😂
I love how my locker has a key and not that thing with numbers
This seems more like the first day of sixth grade then ninth grade
i stay in a building for 8th and 9th so that’s gonna be me in 10th grade😭
Meanwhile at my highschool: *Nobody using lockers because there isn't enough time between classes*

My school never required lockers lmao, and I could always read maps easily so I even guided my friends to their classes easily hahaha!

also that's kinda unrealistic.. people are there to help you get to your class, but yeah it's compilcated.
The kids at my highschool don’t even use the lockers. We all just carry our bags around
