For Goosebumps, you could have Slappy be the killer with his powers involving summoning various monsters in the Goosebumps lore as his power (and a book be his weapon/power as he does in the movies). For example, as an anti-loop ability, you could spray Monster Blood on the ground that grabs survivors if they stay too long in it. After Slappy downs a survivor, he could summon the Haunted Mask to put on a survivor like a reverse bear-trap, only this can't be removed until Slappy summons it to put it on another survivor. One more idea I had was to have him summon cameras from "Say Cheese and Die" that he can put around the map as surveillance to know where survivors are. I think Goosebumps has a lot of potential if you combine it all into one killer. Also if we are talking a full chapter, Horrorland would be a PERFECT map and R.L.Stine could be the survivor haha.
I had to stop reading after the monster blood anti loop because I already think that would be fantastic, been toying with goosebumps ideas and don't wanna to spoil myself with anything I come up with.
@@Dustaroo Haha understandable. I think Goosebumps has a lot of potential and would LOVE to see it come to DBD one day, even if its just cosmetics. Though I would absolutely love a full chapter.
Could you imagine a mori where all of the Horros from Horrorlands come to assist with the kill? Also, the possible cosmetics could go hard. Dr. Maniac skin for the Doctor......... I am completely blanking on amy other monster other than Plant Dad...maybe he as an Artist skin?
Tarman or bust, lol. We need to start rallying behind some underdogs from yesteryear, because it’s a lot easier to make those happen once it has the popular vote than a new IP with its creators nursing it like a new baby. Otherwise we just keep seeing Alan Wake and other IPs we never really asked for until they can iron out things with Jason and Pennywise. I have a feeling this poll would have went VERY differently on Reddit. By rights, every IP deserves some actual discussion before holding said vote. This would go a lot differently if it weren’t just a popularity contest and better represented feasibility and what fits. I wasn’t huge on FNAF getting in, but I can attest that it has played a role in the current horror history and will be remembered by young adults going forward. Can’t say for sure if it’ll have the staying power of Dracula or Jason Voorhees, but FNAF’s influence will definitely echo for generations to come. I’d like to try and bring the community together and on the same page regarding DBD as a horror museum. Branching out is cool, but there is still SO much ground to cover in horror’s history too, and it saddens me that the fanbase voting here on RUclips seem to be so young and focused on what’s trendy today. We need to start getting the DBD community together for some horror watch parties and podcasts to talk about how Horror got where it is today.
Correction on the Junji Ito mention--that's actually the name of the author and artist! He has done short story anthologies, but he's also done some longer form series as well, including Spiral, which the image is from.
To your alan wake comment, the only people who said he didn't deserve to be in dbd are twitter stans who only care about horror when its a hot bangable woman, most people cared about alan wake.
That sounds like a strawman. I question Alan Wake because it seems extremely prone to recency bias and might be more hype-fueled. Like if Nintendo actually added Tracer to Smash Bros. It could work out fine this time but it would be a bad habit to get into.
@@domo5671Alan Wake is a 14 year old franchise and FNAF is a 10 year old one. They’re the two most recent franchises to be added to this game in terms of how old they are. (At least from the top of my head)
@@domo5671wdym recency bias? His IP is 14 years old. It's from 2010. It's older than FNAF... Alan Wake is also called an inspiration to DBD. Generator Skillchecks and the Flashlight are taken almost exactly out of AW.
@@takentactus8779 I’m gen z, and I can assure you slenderman was not nearly as big as other things going on. He has 2 popular games. I don’t walk around and see slenderman merch or to continue to see people still talk about it. Like I said, it was a fad. Slenderman came and went unlike the other franchises in DBD.
@@takentactus8779 Nah that person is tripping, he may not be traditionally mainstream-but most people who play dbd are horror obsessed/fans and not typical people to begin with. Dbd caters to a certain type of person, so it makes perfect sense why Slenderman is a killer many fans want. That’s like saying just because the Avatar movie didn’t have any impact on mainstream pop-culture, it was somehow a fad. Clearly, it is not.
We all know The Thing would be a banger of a collab, first killer where you can morph into a survivor and play strategically like that, and maybe control the head spider like a spy camera, maccready would be a sick survivor. And outpost 31 would be the coolest dbd map ever
@@greenknight5432 Nah the killer would still be bodied. It would make more sense to have a shapeshifting killer similar to Dracula with multiple powers.
@lucasJohnGillespie no? Because the thing doesn't even have an actual body, just its assimilation of others, so it'd be turning into survivors or nothing
Having Batman's rogues gallery as an option is really interesting. I think adding *any* superhero IP would require a lot of care without it feeling goofy. Personally I think The Scarecrow could work well to keep it firmly cemented in horror. Or giving The Trickster a Joker skin.
Joker would be the most likely choice. At first glance he doesn't seem much like a horror villian, but in certain scenarios he can be fucking terrifying. I'd go as far as to say that he fits into the game a little better than Wesker.
@@JerdMcLean Scarecrow would be an odd choice. Sure, he's the most in-line with horror, but he just isn't a very good character in my eyes. He's also too underutilized by DC. His most notable appearance that wasn't a TV show episode was in that one game (Arkham Origins?? though that might've been the one with black mask)
Honestly, SCP woulda been amazing. Only thing is that it would have to be DBD's first free chapter in a long time because it's under a creative commons license.
The worst part is that it would still not be enough to be a full free chapter, because the game itself is still not free and that would infringe the creative commons copyright if I'm not wrong
@alexandrerafaelblasi753 it doesn't apply since what the game is base 1 killer and 3 survivors. It won't infringe because your not buying the character but the game. Which isn't a character. If you followed your logic the game would cost over 125 dollars. Or if you just add the cost of every character licensed or nah it run you 320+ dollars.
My perspective on why so many people voted for Goosebumps is that for a lot of people it was their first introduction to horror as a genre so it’s a lot of nostalgia (this is coming from someone who is insanely nostalgic for goosebumps)
Terrifier is technically the 3rd winner considering all the kids want fnaf even tho i still think it doesnt fit the game at all. Art the clowns 2nd movie is awesome and it also has a great final girl. Probably the freshest slasher IP currently considering his next movie comes this year.
Yeah, postal 2 (or any of the future games) really was not a good pick for the image. REDUX and Postal 1 are just purely evil and can't be progressed without killing.
I think the only 3 horror icons that still need to come in are Jason, Pennywise, and Candyman. Personally Slenderman is my next most wanted though so I hope we get that one day if possible
Thought i might talk about the dbd and idv relationship So basically when idv was being made the idv team asked for consent from the dbd team to use gameplay mechanics from dbd in idv with people like Mathieu Coté and Alex Lin working with them helping as gameplay consultants. Later on idv's publisher netease would go on to publish dead by daylight mobile.
When people talk about Postal Dude in dbd, they probably talking about Dude from Postal 1 who is canonically a different character and fits more the malevolent killer role
15:50 in my opinion Issac Clark would be a better killer. The mental shift from survivors seeing him trying to murder you, while once controlling him in his games would be a mind breaker. They could easily have the entity control who and what he sees. Seeing all the survivors as a "unique" type of necromorph would give him motivation to hunt. Mori he him pulling a pipe with his telekinesis from out of view, throwing it at the survivor, they are impaled and fall over. Isaac running up and stomping the hell out of them would be terrifying. He could have his pistol, a slow charge thing like plagues vomit or gunslingers spear. Telekinesis for closing windows or holding pallets, perhaps markers that can be messed with to combat his powers in some way (if instead of the entity controlling him, it's a marker like an alternative ending to the first game) We have enough heros would had weapons, disarmed for the trials.
On the other hand Isaac Clark is also known for bein murder in absurd amount of ways so him being a survivor getting mori'd left and right would just feel right.
Truthfully I thought I maybe the only person hoping for Bendy alongside Jason and Slenderman. He may have not made the top 3 but it makes me happy to see other Bendy fans want to see our Ink Demon run wild in the trials. Hopefully some day we'll see him.
I actually think people want the classic monster archetypes as actual killers and not just skins, and I think a lot of the love of Dracula from Castlevania’s chapter shows this. A werewolf especially would have great potential for a cool power, and even Frankenstein’s Monster could definitely work well.
I loved Alan Wake personally, especially because his games are kind of like how DBD was supposed to be, an actual horro game and not a party hide and seek gimmick
29:35 I would love if Danganronpa came to the game! Monokuma would be the killer with some skins for Monotaro, Monodam, Monokid, Monophanie, & Monosuke. And the survivors would be Makoto & Kyoko. Edit: Or it could be a killer chapter with it being Monokuma and cosmetics for survivors
Submitting my appeal for making Rantaro the survivor of the hypothetical DBD chapter, because spoilers for his ultimate title. Could give him the Quentin treatment of taking a side character from the source material rather than the protagonist, and giving them new life (and death) in DBD. Besides, I feel like he would bring a character *archetype* to the game that we don't really have in a survivor yet, whereas Makoto and Kyoko feel like more similar character archetypes to Dwight and Zarina respectively, so making perks for them that feel unique to their characters might be harder
Its going to be so incredible when they finally give the original 4 Survivors Scooby Doo Legendary Skins of the 4 humans with Scooby Doo charms. Obviously i want Predator, Jason, Pennywise and them but my most wanted licenses are The Walking Dead and Slenderman 100%. The Walking Dead would depend entirely on if they go TV, Telltale, or Comic. But thats why i want it. There isnt a license in DBD that touches the Comic Book basis yet
While an SCP chapter in DBD would be sick I still dont think it's really possible at least the way it is right now due to it being a CC copyright title, but if behaviour ever found a way to work around that it'd probably be one of the more hyped chapters.
My personal amd unconventional dream license is Death Stranding. Ive been lucky to get most of the licenses I want (I really only want Jason, Predator, Pennywise, and OG Freddy now), but I would LOVE Death Stranding. Death Stranding dorsnt have much horror, but anyone who plays the game knows the potential of it and actually how stressful/scary it can be a certain points. I also think the Killer (It would have to be Higgs, lets be real) has really high potential for an interesting/unique mechanic. Beyond that, being able to play as Norman Reedus and Troy Baker (With possible legendaries for Del Toro and Mads Mickelson) would be funny for the memes, but I have a feeling BHVR would do TWD for a Norman Reedus appearance instead or maybe do the Nick Cage thing of actually putting him jn the game.
As someone that saw this poll through it all and always voted Bendy when available, I am happy that so many people wanted him and content that it was Slender that took him out rather than a lower license.
Unknown's whole teleport to duplicates ability instantly made me think of Fiddle's passive, along with the whole "speaks in the last words of their victims" gimmick.
26:54 It’s actually quite the opposite. For the 10th anniversary a lot of people came together to celebrate and were hyped for a possible remake (then being disappointed). A ghoul killer that blends with survivors and then has a ghoul form that can harm survivors with the kagune would go hard.
You aren’t weird, that Killer would be a deadly inclusion. RUclips just has a very young audience for the most part. I didn’t vote because I didn’t even know this was happening. Only issue with American Werewolf is animations. how does he pick up survivors and hook them? I think BHVR needs to add a “drag” animation and a hook aid. That way animal killers can drag survivors to the hook, and the entity can aid in the hooking process. It’s the only way killers like Cujo, Velociraptor, Refracted Bear or American Werewolf could work. And honestly it should have been implemented for Alien.
Honestly I'm very open to what gets added to DBD. You don't have to be a slasher with a mask or a scary monster in my eyes. As long as you can cause the emotion of fear it will work out fine. Also when you have characters like Trickster or the Elephant Outfit for Clown it really isn't a debate whether this is a horror game at this point. Also I care about Tokyo Ghoul having just read it for the first time. It's a masterpiece.
I have always wanted the T-800 from the first Terminator movie in this game. Not gonna lie I could also see the T-1000 working well too, but Arnie’s T Model is just too iconic to pass up.
The thing about postal is that ppl really want to have postal dude from the first game, where the atmosphere was dark, uncomfy and brutal. Savaged just established this interest with his chase/lobby theme.
I've said it once and I'll say it again: Eternal Darkness is peak and if people actually knew about it it'd be a lot more requested. Would also help if Nintendo did something with the IP and if Silicon Knights was still kickin
I want to rant about the discourse over the FNAF license for a bit considering I’ve been a fan for 10 years. Obviously, I got into it as a kid, there was something alluring about some thing I used to know, and be a part of turning into something scary. As the games progressed, the story got more insane and in-depth. And as such, the community grew QUICKLY. Scott knew that a majority of the audience was younger, so he didn’t put anything too outwardly gory or psychologically damaging in the games to keep that audience. This decision has been a topic of debate for years, and in recent time is starting to pop off again. It is an interesting argument, because it seems even Scott doesn’t know what to do 100% anymore, with an overwhelming amount of children in a franchise, it can be annoying to talk about it or appreciate the smaller things with a bunch of kids with FNAF merchandise running around. And then there’s the topic of the community being toxic, and it most certainly is. I mean, we just got done with a discourse whether or not an early draft of a book that isn’t canon is real or not. That’s a whole other thing, but regardless of your stance, and where the franchise has been going, it’s impact on the horror industry as a whole cannot be understated. FNAF has made itself known and solidified as an important piece of Horror. Just look at how monumentally well the FNAF movie did. FNAF deserves a spot in the horror Hall of Fame, and in this medium it can finally show just how horrible it can get. It’s always been a very dark and sad story, it’s just the way Scott decides to tell it that makes it seem otherwise on the surface. It’s a story about loss suffering revenge and greed. One of the characters, the primary antagonist for a while is William Afton. He is the rotting corpse of his former self trapped inside of the suit he used to commit murders that has molded with said corpse. Children have had their lives ripped away from them, raw human emotion of the tragedy surrounding this story, permeates and creates monsters. The mimic is a robot imbued which said tragedy, in the books, it mutilates people in horrifically, disgusting descriptions, ripping out, peoples tracheas, scooping out, peoples brains, ripping off heads and limbs. This franchise has been incredibly dark for a very long time, and this DBD collide can finally show that side in full force. TLDR: FNAF has more than earned its spot, and if you can’t accept that, you need to get out of 2016 and accept the fact that this franchise is more than deserving of a spot in the horror Hall of Fame.
My personal wishlist of licensed killers would be Springtrap (yeah, i'm biased), bendy the ink demon (with henry stein as a survivor) and i think the indoraptor from jurassic world would fit very well in this game (with owen or Claire as survivors)
I'm glad Little Nightmares was there, probably my favorite series in the whole tournament. But, my overall horror related media is Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion, I love that game and I'd wanna sea it!
hi!! idv fan here, absolutely... insane to see it on the poll. something something better than dbd (both games have their strengths and while i personally prefer idv, i get why people gravitate more towards dbd). it's a bit of a hot topic in the community but i believe behaviour did in fact have a bit of a hand in identity v's early development, but there are no signs of their involvement anymore. the game is currently developed by netease. as for the possibility of a collab, it's almost definitely not happening. identity v is similar to dbd in format and that's about it. i can't think of a single hunter from that game that would translate well into a killer for dbd; while it may be easy to transfer over their power, they would just stick out way too much when it comes to aesthetics, even if their appearance is heavily edited. it's the same deal with survivors, though because the survivors are more human it could maybe work. the most i could think of could be cosmetics from idv being transferred over as maybe costumes in dbd, but i doubt that'll happen just considering the extreme gap in aesthetics. on the idv end, with how crossovers work in that game, i don't think it'd work out there, either. there's also a lot of hostility between the fandoms, and i have not seen a single dbd fan speak positively about idv. i highly doubt the dbd fanbase would be particularly happy about a collaboration between the two ip's. i don't know about the idv fanbase, as dbd is not a potential collab that has been talked about as far as i know. so, yeah. idv fan just kinda in shock that the game that's been consuming their life for four years was acknowledged by someone who doesn't talk about it. i forget the game can be that big. i personally hope the games remain separate but i can't control what happens lmao
The Art the clown and Ginger snaps poll honestly I’d buy all 4 of those in game. I actually liked Ginger. Sure the movie was a bit cheesy at times but as a character and her clothes she’d be interesting and would be our first werewolf if added
I find it strange but I would love to see Ricktofen in the fog after the events of blood of the dead with the weasel as a legendary and the warden as a killer Its fitting for a mad doctor who betrayed and backstabed everyone into a endless cycle for imortality only to be traped in a cycle he put so many of his fellow crew member through. Alcatraz island seems like the perfect map to play with some adjustments.
@primetimegenius5385 I feel like the warden would work better then the panzer since he's actually a decently important character in the story of mob and blood of the dead while the panzer It's just A zombie in a suit The shadow would be cool tho
@primetimegenius5385 tbf The warden does Actually has a special ability To lock down certain things on mob of the dead preventing The players From interacting I feel like you could be creative with that
I think a Dead Rising paragraph would be cool, Frank West being the base survivor with legendary skins for Chuck Green and Nick Ramos. I mean with the remaster around the corner it could happen.
Gonna give some comments on some of the choices here and some that I (personally) would like to see: The Persona 4 Culprit (MASSIVE SPOLIERS AHEAD, SKIP TO THE NEXT PARAGRAPH IF YOU CARE) Persona as a license is a bizarre choice, I get it. But there's ONE specific character that I think could really fit into the realm and have the potential for a really interesting killer power. The culprit to P4's killings, Tohru Adachi (The Jester / The Hunger / The egocentric police di-). Adachi is this really interesting combination of being insanely egotistical while being REALLY pathetic (And talking a t LOT of trash that could be implemented in game in some form). He uses any power given (By effectively a rouge God) to him to make himself feel superior, he joined the police force just to be allowed to carry a gun around at all times. He throws people into a TV world and lets his victim succumb to the elements (He's also gifted with the power of a persona too, in case he was ever caught). All because he's bored. I think he could fit into DBD from a character perspective, and in terms of gameplay as well. You could make it so he has to throw people in the TV world where he has access to his persona that helps him in chase, and maybe the world itself can debuff the survivors is some way. It would be definitely weird, and some, if not many people definitely wouldn't find him scary, but I think you could make him intimating enough to justify his inclusion into Dbd. Blood Meridian / Judge Holden: I know literally nothing about this so maybe someone more informed then me could let me know if this is a good fit or not, but I saw one image of the Judge (first picture on google) on Twitter in something totally unrelated to DBD and went, "That guy should be a skin or a Killer in Dbd". It left that strong of an impression on me. Danganronpa (Pronounced as Dang-gan-ron-pa) / Mild spoilers for the worst parts of the series, the endings: Really shocked that this one got as far as it did. I think personally the idea of implementing the core idea of Danganronpa via a Killer is interesting. Whether it is Monokuma or Junko Enoshima or some combination of the two; I think that having a killer turn the survivors against each other in some way could be really interesting (IF IMPLIMENTTED WELL) in terms of gameplay. I think you could also have a good roster for survivors and or cosmetics as well. I'm willing to admit that I'd pay money for a Nagito Skin / Survivor. Like persona its a bit weird but so was Nick Cage and Dungeons and Dragons (Albeit significantly less so). Lastly Cod Zombies: If you played World at war and or Black ops One, You know why this chapter would rock (The atmosphere of the older maps alone is something to admire). Playing as Ultimis Richtofen as a killer summoning many normal zombies and boss zombies throughout the series (The warden, Mangler, Panzersoldat, Margwas) against Tank Dempsey as a survivor, while the rest of the team drinks perk-a-colas and spins the Mystery box for new gear to tackle the horde. It would admittedly be a hard implementation, but I think it could really work out it the put the time into it. But other then that I think the video was phenomenal. Great work as always! Missed out on a few comments on Postal and Manhunt, but this comment is long enough and I included everything that I have the most passion for.
14:11 I would love The Walking Dead to come to Dead By Daylight as a character chapter with Rick as a survivor from the TV series with maybe skins for Daryl & Michonne or maybe make them there own survivors too but I would need survivors from the Telltale series like Lee as a survivor with adult Clementine & especially Kenny as skins. Edit: Or Adult Clementine could be the survivor with Lee & Kenny being the skins
I love the Walking Dead show (haven't read the comics) but honestly I think I love the Telltale series more so if we get a Rick Grimes survivor I'm praying there's a legendary skin for adult Clementine, Lee, and/or Kenny.
tokyo ghoul comments were unnecessary considering the manga is widely regarded as one of the best ever made in the animanga community and has a sizable fanbase (just not popular in mainstream horror media since its not a horror manga to the same level) most wanted survivors - simon from cry of fear, isaac clarke from dead space, mike schmidt from five nights at freddy's, rick grimes from the walking dead, henry townshend from silent hill 4, dutch from predator, jim hopper from stranger things, sam & dean from supernatural, danny torrance from doctor sleep/the shining, chris washington from get out, macready from the thing, maxine from the x trilogy, will graham from the hannibal movies, ethan winters from resident evil 7 and 8, dewey and sidney from scream, darry and trish jenner from jeepers creepers, jim from 28 days later, jennifer from rule of rose, and sam neill from the jurassic park films most wanted killers - art the clown from terrifier, jack torrance from the shining, patrick bateman from american psycho, the fisherman from i know what you did last summer, bughuul from sinister, springtrap from five nights at freddy's, walter sullivan from silent hill 4, jack baker from resident evil 7, hannibal lecter from the hannibal movies, the yautja from predator, henry creel from stranger things, the thing from the thing, candyman from candyman, the werewolf, pennywise from IT, carrie from carrie, chris walker from outlast, mr. x from resident evil 2, the creeper from jeepers creepers, brandon from brightburn, the invisible man, frankenstein, and lowkey the jersey devil as a new jersey native would be cool otherwise great video! enjoyedmy 47 minutes
Cujo is a weird one, it could work but they’d have to add animation to every survivor for being dragged to a hook and the entity would have to assist in hooking them. Then again, the same probably holds true for the Velociraptor or any animal killer. I think we should get a “Stephen King” Chapter, where it’s a bit of a mix up with Pennywise and Paul Sheldon from Misery with the Overlook Hotel as the stage. They could then fill the stage with various bike pieces and Easter Eggs from King’s other works. The entity sometimes has cracks so in the king stage, it’d probably be cool if there were fragments from kings other stories throughout the level. Cujo’s doghouse, a prom photo of Carrie White, Christine in the driveway, a chunk of the Pet Semetary in one corner of the level, a bathroom with the toilet lid taped down and something squirming inside, a “mist” surrounding the level with shadows moving about, electric appliances that can sometimes block people in chase as a reference to Maximum Overdrive. Also, I totally would have voted annihilation for the Refracted Bear. That thing was just awesome.
Not gonna lie i really want to see dying light. a full chapter with kyle crane as our survivor and the night hunter as the killer would be great. And for the map they could just do the tower and the parking lot outside of it. Perhaps it could be Similar to nemesis with other zombies being around. And just having uv lights on the map to have countering mechanic for the killer would be cool too.
@@landonwolf9453 Even tho Prototype 1 and 2 came out a long time ago but regardless whether people remember the game or not it'd still be dope to add him into Dead By Daylight because he's such an iconic edgy character.
what i like to see Candyman Homelander (the boys tv show) art the clown (terrifier) Frank West (deadrising) MORTAL KOMBAT Shao Kahn (as a DBD paragraph) The X-files (tv show) Supernatural (tv show) Scooby-Doo (tv show) I grew up with these licenses and love them too but MK's Shao Kahn is definitely my main dream killer.
To “adjust” your MK paragraph Killer: The Tyrant (Shao Kahn) Survivor: Kitana Map: Flesh pits (decimated borgo) Metroid would also be a good license to have in DbD if Nintendo wasn’t so strict. Killer could be The Space Pirate (Ridley) And Samus Aran as an survivor and maybe a new map for Darvaka deep wood
@@LilDoofythe problem for me with having a full chapter of Mortal Kombat the MK Survivor knows how to fight but then again Lara Croft from the tomb rider knows how to fight too. i don't know much about Metroid but I heard it's a quite good game franchise. but if Shao Kahn was ever to be added to dead by daylight it should be the Shao Kahn from Mortal Kombat 9 being taken by the entity after winning the battle of Armageddon.
@@scarface3738There are many characters that could easily beat other killers, but I just chose kitana because she was the most interesting, and human like character. Also Ridley from Metroid is a giant space Alien dragon, that would be sick!
ALAN WAKE is one of the coolest chapters that makes so much sense for dbd the fact people didn't want it hurts cause alan wake 1 and 2 are masterpieces especially 2 please if you have not play alan wake
Too bad you didn't do Jurassic Park/World instead of Dino Crisis. Indoraptor would be a decent addition. Another good movie to consider would have been Beetlejuice. As for games I would have liked to have seen Visage make the list. Also Metal Gear Rising for a good meme killer (Senator Armstrong or Sundowner). You should have used an image of Bloodborne instead of Dark Souls 3.
Just thought of something, but Jurassic Park would be an amazing edition to the game. So, for your survivors (it would be a two survivor chapter), you have, Alan Grant and Owen Grady. I just feel there should be two to match both eras of the Jurassic series. Then, for the killer, you would, ofc have a Velociraptor. I’d see them acting similarly to the Wolf form of Dracula, with a lot more power. I don’t really know how they would work, as I just thought of this in like the last five minutes of the video, but I think they should be a killer. And ofc they would add the Visitor Center as a map.
Lets be honest, Dbd has only a few things left worth needing in the game, IT, Friday the 13th, Stranger Things Part Two, which I think can have the map of hawkins downtown, plus starcourt. (Hopper, Joyce, Eleven, Robin.) Tremors, Walking Dead, Predator, The Shinning/ Doctor Sleep, Universal Monsters which I think they should be skins of the monsters they bring in through originals or Liscensed. Carrie, Ghostbusters, WEDNESDAY idk how tf yall think Addams Family wouldn't go hard. Scooby Doo too. There is a few others, but we need an actual Scream Chapter. The Original Knightmare and more Leather Face. We need maps for these Iconic Killers its almost goofy to me they dont have one. I think Halloween needs a part two as well bringing in the 2018 canon. Chucky needs a map too.
FNAF is something ive wanted forever and its easily my second most wanted and im so so so happy it got announced, but, if Slenderman got announced you dont understand how unbelievably happy i would be
this is a license i didnt see on the poll, but one i’d be curious of it’s placement; Sweeney Todd. Like Little Shop of Horrors, I’d really like to see a horror/musical ip make its way into the fog.
Bloodborne is the souls game I would want in DBD the most. The very gothic aesthetic would work with the game and Father Gascoigne would be my choice for the killer. This license will probably never happen though 😢

The perks could be named after some of the books like Let's get invisible, Stay out of the basement, I live in your basement, etc.
@chickenking1753 Stay Out of the Basement: For each survivor who is in the basement, gain 1/2/3% haste and 1/2/3% attack cooldown.
I mean, the most requested license of all time was recently officially announced, so we’re definitely gonna have a new winner

“What FnaF killer do we want”
Most likely it’s gonna be “the machine” and then 4-8 legendary skins.
@@linussyren9221Honestly, we need Springtrap and Michael or Henry.
Another Fnaf killer can be optional.
@@urdeadnotbigsuprise7439 most likely will only get 1 killer.
I can imagne the OG 4 as optional skinns and springtrapp as a legendary skin.
@@linussyren9221It's name wouldn't be the machine.
Correction on the Junji Ito mention--that's actually the name of the author and artist! He has done short story anthologies, but he's also done some longer form series as well, including Spiral, which the image is from.
Yeah, sure, next thing you're gonna tell me is Steely Dan is the name of the band and NOT the front-man.
To your alan wake comment, the only people who said he didn't deserve to be in dbd are twitter stans who only care about horror when its a hot bangable woman, most people cared about alan wake.
True. It's the first time I had heard the sentiment of a new license not being deserving being added spill out of those cesspits though.
That sounds like a strawman. I question Alan Wake because it seems extremely prone to recency bias and might be more hype-fueled. Like if Nintendo actually added Tracer to Smash Bros. It could work out fine this time but it would be a bad habit to get into.
The first game came out in 2010 and was a success, so I kind of doubt he was added due to recency bias
Slenderman doing as well as he did put a smile on my face. Glad to know some folk still remember him.
Dead franchise. Nostalgia is what keeps him alive. At least Fnaf is still going and proved it wasn’t a fluke or fad.
slendy played a big part in a lot of gen z's childhoods
@@takentactus8779 I’m gen z, and I can assure you slenderman was not nearly as big as other things going on. He has 2 popular games.
I don’t walk around and see slenderman merch or to continue to see people still talk about it. Like I said, it was a fad. Slenderman came and went unlike the other franchises in DBD.
@@jackbruno953 i get that his fame didn’t last long but he was still pretty big back then
@@takentactus8779 Nah that person is tripping, he may not be traditionally mainstream-but most people who play dbd are horror obsessed/fans and not typical people to begin with.
While I would love to be able to play as the thing swf would absolutely destroy any killer that copies survivors.

It would make more sense to have a shapeshifting killer similar to Dracula with multiple powers.
@lucasJohnGillespie no? Because the thing doesn't even have an actual body, just its assimilation of others, so it'd be turning into survivors or nothing
@@greenknight5432
Well if that’s the case, then no. It would be a bad inclusion to the game.
Having Batman's rogues gallery as an option is really interesting.
I think adding *any* superhero IP would require a lot of care without it feeling goofy. Personally I think The Scarecrow could work well to keep it firmly cemented in horror. Or giving The Trickster a Joker skin.
There are quite a lot of scary villains in batman's rogue gallery. Killer Croc, Scarecrow or even Ra's Al Ghul would be a very good fit.
Joker would be the most likely choice. At first glance he doesn't seem much like a horror villian, but in certain scenarios he can be fucking terrifying. I'd go as far as to say that he fits into the game a little better than Wesker.
Batman's doesn't work because of the racism allegations
@@realnamegone I mean it would 100% be scarecrow
@@JerdMcLean Scarecrow would be an odd choice. Sure, he's the most in-line with horror, but he just isn't a very good character in my eyes. He's also too underutilized by DC. His most notable appearance that wasn't a TV show episode was in that one game (Arkham Origins?? though that might've been the one with black mask)
I am surprised Danganronpa was added and made it as far as it did. Also, the mis-pronunciation killed me.

@@alexandrerafaelblasi753not the game, the fandom is free

Nah i could definitely see terrifier getting big
When people refer to Postal, they mostly talk about the first Dude, which was an absolute monster talking about actions and his game is a horror game
Art the clown pleaseeee
Kinda crazy there is no beetleguese
Imagine the kind of insanity you could bring with beetlejuice! The maps! The juice himself! Lydia!
Thought i might talk about the dbd and idv relationship
So basically when idv was being made the idv team asked for consent from the dbd team to use gameplay mechanics from dbd in idv with people like Mathieu Coté and Alex Lin working with them helping as gameplay consultants. Later on idv's publisher netease would go on to publish dead by daylight mobile.
When people talk about Postal Dude in dbd, they probably talking about Dude from Postal 1 who is canonically a different character and fits more the malevolent killer role
It makes me happy that dying light made it this far
It gives me sliver of hope that we will see it in dbd one day
15:50 in my opinion Issac Clark would be a better killer.
Telekinesis for closing windows or holding pallets, perhaps markers that can be messed with to combat his powers in some way (if instead of the entity controlling him, it's a marker like an alternative ending to the first game)
We have enough heros would had weapons, disarmed for the trials.
never heard of a Issac controlled killer idea before could do some cool stuff with it for sure.
On the other hand Isaac Clark is also known for bein murder in absurd amount of ways so him being a survivor getting mori'd left and right would just feel right.

I actually think people want the classic monster archetypes as actual killers and not just skins, and I think a lot of the love of Dracula from Castlevania’s chapter shows this. A werewolf especially would have great potential for a cool power, and even Frankenstein’s Monster could definitely work well.
They said that they would like to make their own versions of classic horror characters.
@@sirmuffinsalot I think he could fit as a survivor too definitely because of his lore in Danganronpa 3
There isnt a license in DBD that touches the Comic Book basis yet

dude candy man jason and pennywise would be the greatest thing next to F.N.A.F
on a side note the strangers wouldnt be bad either
Man, Clock Tower had kind of a decent run. Hope it's mentioned in a new poll some day I'd love to vote
Fiddlesticks would be a great unknown legendary cosmetic
Unknown's whole teleport to duplicates ability instantly made me think of Fiddle's passive, along with the whole "speaks in the last words of their victims" gimmick.
@@lizard7001 Yep also unknown's weapon gave me huge scythe vibes so it fits
26:54 It’s actually quite the opposite. For the 10th anniversary a lot of people came together to celebrate and were hyped for a possible remake (then being disappointed). A ghoul killer that blends with survivors and then has a ghoul form that can harm survivors with the kagune would go hard.
It’s crazy that we never had a conjuring chapter yet
I'm weird, I want An American werewolf in london
You aren’t weird, that Killer would be a deadly inclusion. RUclips just has a very young audience for the most part. I didn’t vote because I didn’t even know this was happening. Only issue with American Werewolf is animations. how does he pick up survivors and hook them?
I think BHVR needs to add a “drag” animation and a hook aid. That way animal killers can drag survivors to the hook, and the entity can aid in the hooking process. It’s the only way killers like Cujo, Velociraptor, Refracted Bear or American Werewolf could work. And honestly it should have been implemented for Alien.
I'd take American Werewolf, but I'm more partial to Dog Soldiers. Would be nice to see a werewolf killer of any kind.
As a massive M3gan fan, i am deeply upset
How is Slenderman modern? He's not clasic, sure, but he's not modern either, he's at least a decade old if not two.
Considering the heyday of iconic horrors was the 80s and early 90s, that very much puts him in the "modern" catergory.
Zoomer detected
I have always wanted the T-800 from the first Terminator movie in this game. Not gonna lie I could also see the T-1000 working well too, but Arnie’s T Model is just too iconic to pass up.
The thing about postal is that ppl really want to have postal dude from the first game, where the atmosphere was dark, uncomfy and brutal. Savaged just established this interest with his chase/lobby theme.
If they gave me a Scooby Doo or Batman chapter I'm more than happy
Shut up
Well said my friend. Well said. 🫡

Ah yes, Junji Ito. My favorite story
hi!! idv fan here, absolutely... insane to see it on the poll. something something better than dbd (both games have their strengths and while i personally prefer idv, i get why people gravitate more towards dbd). it's a bit of a hot topic in the community but i believe behaviour did in fact have a bit of a hand in identity v's early development, but there are no signs of their involvement anymore. the game is currently developed by netease.
as for the possibility of a collab, it's almost definitely not happening. identity v is similar to dbd in format and that's about it. i can't think of a single hunter from that game that would translate well into a killer for dbd; while it may be easy to transfer over their power, they would just stick out way too much when it comes to aesthetics, even if their appearance is heavily edited. it's the same deal with survivors, though because the survivors are more human it could maybe work. the most i could think of could be cosmetics from idv being transferred over as maybe costumes in dbd, but i doubt that'll happen just considering the extreme gap in aesthetics. on the idv end, with how crossovers work in that game, i don't think it'd work out there, either.
there's also a lot of hostility between the fandoms, and i have not seen a single dbd fan speak positively about idv. i highly doubt the dbd fanbase would be particularly happy about a collaboration between the two ip's. i don't know about the idv fanbase, as dbd is not a potential collab that has been talked about as far as i know.
so, yeah. idv fan just kinda in shock that the game that's been consuming their life for four years was acknowledged by someone who doesn't talk about it. i forget the game can be that big. i personally hope the games remain separate but i can't control what happens lmao
God i want Cry of fear in dbd
The Art the clown and Ginger snaps poll honestly I’d buy all 4 of those in game. I actually liked Ginger. Sure the movie was a bit cheesy at times but as a character and her clothes she’d be interesting and would be our first werewolf if added
Also:
Supernatural and the mummy are my top 2!
I just want Outlast and The Evil Within.
btw Pearl could work as Huntress legendary outfit.
I find it strange but I would love to see Ricktofen in the fog after the events of blood of the dead with the weasel as a legendary and the warden as a killer
Its fitting for a mad doctor who betrayed and backstabed everyone into a endless cycle for imortality only to be traped in a cycle he put so many of his fellow crew member through.
Alcatraz island seems like the perfect map to play with some adjustments.
I’d feel the shadow man would suit it better or panzer
@primetimegenius5385 I feel like the warden would work better then the panzer since he's actually a decently important character in the story of mob and blood of the dead while the panzer It's just A zombie in a suit
The shadow would be cool tho
@@Gibs491 I said panzer because he’s got a bit you could do with him unlike warden who thematically is cool but is mostly a brute

Can't wait for the killer visual design list 😎
Honestly surprised they didn’t have Candyman already
Gonna give some comments on some of the choices here and some that I (personally) would like to see:
The Persona 4 Culprit (MASSIVE SPOLIERS AHEAD, SKIP TO THE NEXT PARAGRAPH IF YOU CARE)
Persona as a license is a bizarre choice, I get it.
Blood Meridian / Judge Holden:
I know literally nothing about this so maybe someone more informed then me could let me know if this is a good fit or not, but I saw one image of the Judge (first picture on google) on Twitter in something totally unrelated to DBD and went, "That guy should be a skin or a Killer in Dbd". It left that strong of an impression on me.
Danganronpa (Pronounced as Dang-gan-ron-pa) / Mild spoilers for the worst parts of the series, the endings:
Really shocked that this one got as far as it did.
Lastly Cod Zombies:
If you played World at war and or Black ops One, You know why this chapter would rock (The atmosphere of the older maps alone is something to admire).
Edit: Or Adult Clementine could be the survivor with Lee & Kenny being the skins
praying it happens one day
I love the Walking Dead show (haven't read the comics) but honestly I think I love the Telltale series more so if we get a Rick Grimes survivor I'm praying there's a legendary skin for adult Clementine, Lee, and/or Kenny.

Perhaps it could be Similar to nemesis with other zombies being around. art the clown (terrifier)
Frank West (deadrising)
MORTAL KOMBAT Shao Kahn (as a DBD paragraph)
The X-files (tv show)
Supernatural (tv show)
Scooby-Doo (tv show)
I grew up with these licenses and love them too but MK's Shao Kahn is definitely my main dream killer.
To “adjust” your MK paragraph
Killer: The Tyrant (Shao Kahn)
Survivor: Kitana
Map: Flesh pits (decimated borgo)
Metroid would also be a good license to have in DbD if Nintendo wasn’t so strict. Killer could be The Space Pirate (Ridley)
And Samus Aran as an survivor and maybe a new map for Darvaka deep wood
@@LilDoofythe problem for me with having a full chapter of Mortal Kombat the MK Survivor knows how to fight but then again Lara Croft from the tomb rider knows how to fight too. i don't know much about Metroid but I heard it's a quite good game franchise. but if Shao Kahn was ever to be added to dead by daylight it should be the Shao Kahn from Mortal Kombat 9 being taken by the entity after winning the battle of Armageddon.
I like to see Candyman to
@@Gamerboi55511 yeah candyman would make my day if he can ever be added to dbd.
@@scarface3738There are many characters that could easily beat other killers, but I just chose kitana because she was the most interesting, and human like character. Also Ridley from Metroid is a giant space Alien dragon, that would be sick!
Tremors was robbed
Alex or David mason in dbd would be crazy (cod 1&2)
ALAN WAKE is one of the coolest chapters that makes so much sense for dbd the fact people didn't want it hurts cause alan wake 1 and 2 are masterpieces especially 2 please if you have not play alan wake
I was so happy when Alan got added. I love him. I p100 him :)
Only other license I would want is Hellblazer
Too bad you didn't do Jurassic Park/World instead of Dino Crisis. Indoraptor would be a decent addition. Another good movie to consider would have been Beetlejuice.
As for games I would have liked to have seen Visage make the list. Also Metal Gear Rising for a good meme killer (Senator Armstrong or Sundowner).
You should have used an image of Bloodborne instead of Dark Souls 3.
Im happy to see that I’m not the only one that wants Slendy.
Maybe it might actually happen.
I need Raimi Green Goblin
It would never happen in 1 million years
But a power using his glider and different bombs would be sick
I want to see Homelander as killer 🙏🙏 using his heat vision as his power
Why am I always miss this kind of community stuff 😂
People want Postal because of the first game, not the second.
Bro I'm 27 and I'm stoked for FNAF!
I don’t play much dbd but I think something with the old bo3 zombies would be cool
getting licenses is a money grab by DBD to keep ppl play even tho its unbalanced
FNAF is something ive wanted forever and its easily my second most wanted and im so so so happy it got announced, but, if Slenderman got announced you dont understand how unbelievably happy i would be
i wouldnt mind the grudge, something from chainsaw man or even a hell house llc skin for the clown
this is a license i didnt see on the poll, but one i’d be curious of it’s placement; Sweeney Todd.
Like Little Shop of Horrors, I’d really like to see a horror/musical ip make its way into the fog.
The ritual monster would be a cool killer ngl 😭🙏
16:40 Sirenhead isn't a Creepypasta, he's a Trevor Henderson monster
This should get a v2 sense fnaf got announced. I would love to see the SCP get higher because honestly they have a lot of potential.
Now this is a friggin video! Thanks Dustaroo 😲
I was so sad to see Psycho go. It's easily my most wanted license for Dbd because it's super cool
fear is a good game train to bus an your mean dustaroo
Bloodborne is the souls game I would want in DBD the most. The very gothic aesthetic would work with the game and Father Gascoigne would be my choice for the killer.
This license will probably never happen though 😢
Until Dawn! Until Dawn! Until Dawn!
Creep at 4% is insane
