What is Among us?
As you attempt to prepare your spaceship for departure, but beware as one or more random players among the Crew are Impostors bent on killing everyone!
When a body is discovered you call a vote to decide who killed them! You can also call an emergency vote if you are suspicious. But becareful...it may lead to you getting sent out the air lock!

@@thrashmarky I'm so happy to see others acknowledge that. One of the worst times was during monopoly when she gaslit and accused cheesy of things making the whole mood super toxic, and chilled had to work hard to calm everything down because chat FOR ONCE got pissed off at Kara(n).
Cheesy even apologised and defended her despite her being a literal asshole to him . She doesn't deserve this freaking friend group man, they always forgive her despite how bitchy she is constantly.
@@thrashmarky My hypothesis is that she's kept around because they see her as an industry insider and a celebrity because she does some voice acting. Which is a bs reason to keep someone around just to snark and talk down. Tay is at least FUNNY when she rambles and yells melodramatic accusations.

Owner of a snap-based sunglasses here! It's basically prescription glasses but the frame comes with a magnetic snap on glasses. I have 2 frames of it.
I would love to see there only be 1 or 2 crew and they get their tasks done and just win or even more funny only 1 crew and its snitch so they rush their tasks to see the imposters but instead just win
I'll be honest, I think its hysterical that 1 man albeit permanently damaged this group's ability to do their tasks for the sake of getting a crew win, & he no longer plays with them. At all.
And then the Town of Salem mods came in & basically took their focus on tasks off of life support, killing it for good.

@@michealvega1373 Wade, aka LordMinion777. Guy was non-negotiable about doing tasks, because "task wins are lame, & not good content." And since tasks are something that ALL crew members have to do for them to mean something, that meant nobody else did them as a result. And this was in the pre-modded days of the game, so this pretty much turned the game into a giant lottery of who has info to actually help Crew win with the 1 win condition they have.
I watched the moment Vic killed Kara like 6 times just to make sure it was him 😂😂😂, like I saw him kill, but it looked like he didn't more, that Flash mod is OP

Tilly was right & Kara was wrong -- quick grammar lesson:
"That was Side and me," is the correct construction. "That" is the subject, "Side and me" is the object. Saying "That was Side and I," is grammatically incorrect.
If she had said "Side and me did that," that would be incorrect because "Side and me," is the subject, so it would be "Side and I did that."
Edit: Ik she's a friend, but this is why it can sometimes be tough for me to watch Kara. She talks with authority on stuff she doesn't know anything about all the time.

It's an old an hardly followed rule in modern parlance, but "I" is technically the correct form. It's one of those things that even those aware of the fact will often ignore it because it just doesn't sound right to contemporary ears in anything but a strictly formal sense. You can find numerous discussions online among _English enthusiasts_ that argue the usefulness of the rule-and I can _distinctly_ remember a couple of English books from back in high school glossing over the situation pretty briefly as becoming more and more outdated.
That's all to say, use "me" and no one ought to bat an eye unless they're really looking to nitpick; mostly everyone else doesn't care.
@@KayOhTeeKay It really is not in this case -- & this isn't some new colloquial thing, this is the old fashioned prescriptivist "technically correct" rule.
If "x & first person singular pronoun" comes after the verb in a simple sentence, it takes the object form "me" because it is the object in the sentence. If it comes before the verb in a simple sentence, it takes the subject form "I" because it's the subject.
Too many people learned the rule lazily in school & so now we have people using it incorrectly because they never learned the rule AND people using it incorrectly because they learned the rule wrongly.
"Always use I," is simply wrong. As with many things in English: It's more complicated than that.
Edit: That said, Courtilly used it correctly (except she put "me" before Side, I think) & her trick to remember which she tried to explain was legitimate -- it will almost always give you the right result.

I will be honest, I know I wouldn't get along with Kara if she's one of my
acquaintances (classmate, co-worker...etc). I could not stand this kind of
personality and behavior, there were some points in their past streams
that I was amazed that the other or Chilled didn't tell her to shut the F up

@@TheTechnosasquatch Over the course of the last 12-18 hours(as of replying to this), Twitch had plans to make changes to their site, most of which would basically nuke al third-party sponsored content off the face of their site. Thankfully, about an hour or 2 ago(again, as of replying to this), Twitch announcing they were stepping back from plans regarding these changes for the forseeable future.
The comment had nothing specifically to do with Bonzai or Speedy. I just wanted to catch someone who wasn't up to date with internet news in a jebait.
When 2 out of the 10 roles is crew, you know the game isn't balanced. You should lessen the killers and increase the crew.

@@MasterMindgHostfrEak That night during stream, it became kind of a meme because everyone in chat kept asking about it, and one of Chilled's mods simply went kinda insane because of how much they had to copy-paste the same answer 😂 But I mean, Speedy does sound a bit weird with his new setup, but I don't think he sounds that bad lol. I got used to it pretty quickly.

Kara is wrong about a lot of the things she claims to be true.
RE: "It was I who opened the door" is complicated. It is true that the subject takes "I" and the object takes "me" and at first blush, "It was me who opened the door" seems correct because it follows that rule. But the phrasing "it was" uses "was" as a copula, a linking verb, that makes the "It" match the thing that opens the door. So while Courtilly's logic isn't wrong, it's overridden by this more technical rule (that people hardly use these days) that would make Kara right about "It was I who opened the door."
It's a rule that isn't used because it isn't correct and never has been. You're just flat out wrong.
Do you really say, "It was I," when responding to someone asking, "Who did [insert task here]?" No, you would say, "It was me," or, "I did."
Looks like my last reply was swallowed by RUclips, probably because of the links. If anyone who sees this is curious about its history, google '"It was I" copula' and you will find many people asking about this exact construction and various replies that include this old rule based off grammatical case. One of the links was to a short article that refers to this very real history of English (and not "never has been" as @Livestick42 says):
"The rule for what he and others consider technically right is *not* (as is commonly misstated) that the nominative should *always* be used after 'to be'. Rather, it is that 'to be' should link two noun phrases of the same case, whether this be nominative or accusative ... According to the traditional grammar being used here, "to be" is not a transitive verb, but a *copulative* verb. When you say that A is B, you don't imply that A, by being B, is doing something to B. (After all, B is also doing it to A.)" This actually calls out Kara's logic as being incorrect as well, but it references the fact that it has been *regarded* as a rule that still leads to Kara's conclusion.
Do *I* really say this? No, I will say "me and Speedy went to the store" instead of "Speedy and I", and I'll forget to use "whomever" as an object instead of "whoever" when in a phrase. Speech is casual and ultimately will change, and these rules already have been disregarded by different percentages of fluent speakers in the language. I thought Kara's claim was interesting enough to mention this as a bit of history for the language.
So.... first round bonsai killed Ze

It's the only way that could workout as imposters can't kill eachother..... or at least Escapist/janitor can't.
