I never thought I would "know" a bison and love 'em. I always thought of them as majestic but dangerous and intimidating. Eleanor and Dunbar have such great temperaments! Much of that is due to your compassion in raising and working with them. Thank you so much for sharing them with us. So cool!

Also I keep looking at your pasture and wondering if goats eat the stuff you don't like , that would leave more room for grass you want. Love your show .

I am so sad that the Bison farm that was in MA closed down when I was kid, before I got to see them. Their such a unique-- and massive-- animal! Got really excited when I started working horse shows and one of our shows was down in the town the farm was located, was finally going to see the Bison! Then, found out it was closed and the Bison had all been sold. I bought some corn and summer squash at the farm stand, but lamented the loss. Thanks for your videos, I don't think I'd be able to see them otherwise!

I mentioned in a previous video that I thought Dunbar was lonely. I do not have issue with you changing bulls and wanting Big Joe to breed more females. And i sure Dunbar likes the rest of not breeding so many. But he's used to certain amount of attention, which I belive that has been cut down. Along with a reduction of the flock and the lack of attention, I think he is somewhat lonely. When you spend time with him, his spirits kicks up and his tail is wagging ... he's happy you're around him. He gets assurance from you that everything is okay. He sure is quite a big loving boy. You have a very special relationship with him, as he has given his trust to you, which wild animals don't give at a drop of a hat. It's a very precious thing to protect his/your trust. It is one of the reasons I watch your videos.
