Burning off Gamba grass Phantom 4 Pro

Yearly controlled burn assisted by Darwin River Bush Fire Volunteers, Gamba grass is a pest in the territory and we get free herbicide and assistance burning off in Dry season. Special thanks to Tom from DRVF. i had a go pro on to capture the sound of this fire but the heat generated melted the go pro. it was at least 10m from edge. all good

Great video.. sadly all the savannah behind Kulaluk on dick ward drive went up last night.. the gamba has been growing for years in there. I hope the many trees and pandanas survived but not hopeful.

It has already been suggested they bring in rhinos and elephant from africa to help re gamba grass. Rhinos are here already. Look up " australian rhino project." See if in time they will let them wild to eat that grass
