I've been doing weed on and off for around 13 years. Started when i was 17. I've always loved it, but I've been extremely prone to anxiety when I'm high as well. So, I've experienced the worst panic attacks of my life because I was high and had taken too much. I quit smoking and have been doing only edibles for the last year. Everyone is different. If I have even a micro dose of Marijuana I get extremely anxious, nervous. Cannot use it at all and I would like too. Yes even Indica.
I am curious how many mg have you tried? I am extremely sensitive too and for a decade thought I would never enjoy MJ. 5mg thc edible gives me paranoia, depression, fear, etc. But I kept trying and I found that 2mg edible is perfect for a very small uplift in mood. Combine with a glass of wine and smoke a bowl of cbd flowers and it's really nice. Also, I never felt any difference between indica/sativa. I think it's all hype. Don't @ me! Haha
You’ll feel that way if you overthink it and expect to be anxious after taking it. I get that way sometimes too with any medicine. I’ll feel anxious and nervous about taking it and can cause you to be even more anxious
I'd say besides the anxiety /panic attack/ other mental health issues, it's safe. Everyday users with a high tolerance forget the unfamiliarity, the novelty and the way it can completely hijack your thoughts. Pot use over several times can be used as a tool for anxiety, but at the beginning it can be a very bad day for people with anxiety or just anyone at the wrong time/dose. I'd say to anyone having anxiety from pot go with it let the thoughts come and go on their own. Listen to music, create a playlist of short videos that are interesting, funny, or exciting. Avoid all negative shit. Call a friend or a family member and talk to them using the green talky app on your phone. Go outside look at the sky, try to do things (that don't involve dangerous tools). Most important thing is you will be ok. Hakuna Matata yo.
@ the doctors what exactly defines micro-dosing? You forgot address this very important part. Which ironically is the subject of this video. Specifics only please. Thank you
I've been suffering crippling anxiety for the past year. I don't want to take pharmaceutical so I've been using homeopathic remedies which helps somewhat. My last experience with THC was 20 years ago and I've avoided that path... Then decided to take the plunge with a very low THC dose via gummies. Well I'm pleased to announce that this has been working very well for me. I can still function and do everything I want to do without feeling out of it. Be very careful with gummies, do your research and start low and slow.
This should also be the way people start to use edibles or smoke in general. If you've never smoked pot or have anxiety you could reduce the risk of panic attack. Pot heads should support this idea as well because it's not good PR for national legalization when people are checking themselves into hospitals because their asshole peers thought it'd be funny to give them too much thc. I've seen people do this to their own friends and intervened a few times. Tolerance is not an excuse to play with peoples minds.
I used weed as a teen and slept the best sleep in my life. I am 34 now and been in a awful car accident and will have chronic pain for rest of my life. I can't now use weed as I work for the federal law enforcement I grew up in Massachusetts were they now have shops etc and really support it. I have been in NC for last 12 years and talk about two different worlds. The arrest people here for small amounts caught on person. Here they are years away from approval and it may never pass. The federal government needs to just approve it and get there taxes off it. It been a absolute cash cow for states like Colorado! . I don't drink as I am type one diabetic I do however need to use pain medication. I would rather use Thc to treat my sleep problems and certainly my chronic pain in back! now I do absolutely have some type of anxiety. I hope they really look into weed and keep moving forward with it for medical reasons. I know for a fact it would help me. unfortunately due to my job I'd have to wait till after retirement. But if you can grow a plant and help with chronic pain m,sleep, anxiety and even cancer and more I don't even know about! Oh that right because it would take money out big pharma and some of our trust state reps!
I am going through really tough phase of my life. And if I am alive today it's only because of marijuana. I do smile, I laugh I enjoy life only when I am high.
Wtf are you talking about. You know that there's pharmaceutical THC products right? Dronabinol. I work in a pharmacy and it's a schedule 3. We get scripts for it a few times a month. You don't need a MMJ card. I work in a regular pharmacy. Them having a patent for non-psychoactive cannabinoids is the least of their hypocrisy.
Microdosing has made my anxiety even worse and made me more paranoid over time. The last time i have felt like this was during withdrawals from an antidepressant. I'm sure it works for a lot of people but for me it doesnt.
Did you try a strain with higher cbd content and lower thc? High thc can cause paranoia and anxiety and some are more susceptible to high thc amounts than others
@@aphr0d Yes finding the right strain is important. I also feel a lot of it is the marijuana just exaggerating what i am already feeling. So if I'm having a bad day I'm more likely to have an uncomfortable experience.
anybody have experience with microdosing and can share with me that? I was smoker for 16 years, i quit 2 weeks ago and i will never go back to smoking but i think what weed had some benefits to me, i think was just consuming it with a very bad way, i was smoking like 200-500mg per day which i think is harmful for the most people. I want to know also if and how much microdosing helps with anxiety/insomnia and adhd brains, i did read what microdosing thc can sharpen your focus, make you more productive, help you sleep more and reduce anxiety but i would like some personal experience. Thank you very much for the informative video, we need doctors like him
"I have never smoked, but I have been consuming edibles for 5 years. In my experience, I prefer microdosing because I feel it's easier to control, and it's less likely for me to have a bad trip. I usually make my own edibles, so I know when to eat to stay relaxed. I recommend trying a specific product, whether made by you or someone else, and gradually experimenting with doses until you find one that suits you. It's trial and error."
My sister smoked pot regularly when she was pregnant and breastfeeding, and my nephew is doing really good in everything. I think cannabis is very safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding
Yeh it’s all lies 😂my Jamaican partner smoked pure weed all through pregnancy and baby came out perfect. No one has ever died from taking cannabis but millions die from pharmaceuticals every year wat a fukin joke
@Abram Flores Is that 5 milligrams once a day? I just bought some kiva chocolate espresso beans and I’m curious about your experience. Do you feel it has helped with any symptoms you’ve had??
Well believe it or not pregnant women in Jamaica, South America and Africa use it to cure all of the issues that come with pregnancy like nauseousness, inflammation, digestive issues and heartburn Etc.. there's research on it as well as research on the advanced cognition of their babies! I'm not condoning this I'm simply informing do your own research and come to your own conclusion.
Sergio Noriega - If this is true, I think it will eventually be studied and reinforced with data. Until then, even though it very well may be safe, it’s risky to tell people it’s okay when that hasn’t been proven through official channels, etc. The warning is likely only for legal reasons to protect themselves, since their audience is massive. Once it is proven, though, it will awesome for pregnant ladies everywhere. This plant is truly remarkable!
These doctors are paid by big pharma of course they not going to say anything positive 😂cannabis is a miracle plant that’s been used for thousands and thousands of years. No one has ever died from consuming the plant. In Jamaica women have been smoking weed for hundreds of years and smoking all through pregnancy and babies that come out are more healthy, tuned in, engaged, no allergies, health conditions and more etc etc. this video is laughable if yuh know yuh know. My partner is Jamaican and she smoked all through pregnancy with pure weed no tobacco for nausea, pain etc and the baby came out fine more tuned in spiritually, more engaged, no allergies, healthy. Btw I’ve done extensive research on cannabis for 5 years so I know a bit 😏
Most definitely, I've been self medicating since I was 10. It kept me out of trouble growing up. I've always joked with my folks saying it kept me from becoming a serial killer, lol
It is amazing how cautious or perhaps programed these doctors appear to be to downplay this alternative method . They have enough body language to show they were not comfortable with promoting it in any way. Terms like "gun slinging", "the wild west", shows they were on guard! At least this woman Ozzie, was getting results!
I'm glad to see that they asked if there have been any peer reviewed, clinical studies on this. At this point, even the pro-pot person admits that there isn't any real data on this at this point.
So many healthy happy people keep saying "the research is in early stages" leaving us with autism to continue raising an uncomfortable statistic because we don't have access to the only medication that can help us.

If you tell everyone that cannabis might not be for them, then ALOT of people will end of consuming alternatives that are far less beneficial than cannabis. When doctors puts cannabis on the same level as other coping strategies, then they become pushers of the strategies their advice leads people towards “not cannabis “. Harm reduction is KEY in determining any personal consumptions. Anti-cannabis perspective isn’t helpful or relevant to people who face significant or even minor chronic pains. Cannabis should be fully promoted and harm reduction conversation should replace any form of anti-cannabis talking points that could lead anyone AWAY from pursuing the benefits of cannabis compounds.
Dima Andro It would appear you have not tried the right strain for you. I found my happy spot. I am off my wicked making me sicker than a dog Vicodin... Medical Cannabis has changed my life. I now advocate for it. The USA is so far behind. The Hebrew university has tons of data of the benefits infact this year it was incorporated into nursing homes... Indica is very effective on PTSD. Cannabis is also helping NFL athletes heal from CTE disorder and lawsuits have been filed against the NFL and US Government... Things are changing and this plant will get the credit it deserves from Doctor and the scientific community clinical trials are already underway....Education is key. This good Doctor knows the truth.....
Micro dose is a much better way to consume considering the strains are modified to maximize thc. In the 80s and 90s the strains averaged 5 % thc max w a equal ratio of cbd or less. Today a common strain average is 15% thc.. almost zero cbd,.. thanks millennials..
Sativa, indica, and hybrid. All of it makes me anxious and makes my neck tense up. I can only have a good time when I’m active like exercising or hiking, but not if I’m sitting doing nothing or in bed trying to sleep. It sucks :|
What pioneer!?! Pot has been around for thousands of years!! It was illegal only due to the government saying it would make you crazy. Only cause they couldn't tax it. Our ancestors used it the same as they do now.
Idc what ppl say when they say weed help with stress and anxiety better then antidepressants. There is no way weed helps better then a Xanax no way in he'll yes it has less side effects more no where near the relief. I take a bar and idc if I'm in a group of 100 I smoke weed and it helps but no where near as much as a benzo would help me. Weed can manage acute anxiety but not severe. I love when ppl say weed helps with me and I have severe anxiety bullshit you have acute anxiety not severe. Severe anxiety is labeled severe cause it causes other massive health problems for example mine is diagnosed and labeled severe due to the fact my blood pressure rises to 210+ in a stressful situation which can result in having a heart attack. If you think you have severe take your blood pressure when I think anxiety is up if you pressure reads 110 to 135 your not severe.
It’s not the weed. Weed makes everything you do, think, say, feel, smell, hear, and taste a lot more intense. It intensifies your awareness therefore if you feel a symptom of anxiety when you’re high, you’re bound to put your awareness a whole lot more on the negative symptoms than anything else (such as friends, a convo, or something that entertains you.) and that’s a common mistake. So you gotta focus your awareness on those things instead of the symptoms and tell yourself it ain’t the weed but just your mind.
@@19DavidVilla96 what? How am I wrong? It’s a fact. Weed makes you more aware to things so ofc ur gonna be anxious you’re putting all your awareness on the anxiety symptoms whenever you feel anxious. Don’t blame it on the weed. You’re doing it to yourself. It ain’t the weed man. Try getting high again and do something that entertains you it’s gonna feel better for u bro trust me.

BTS' 8th member I find that when my diabetes is not under control, microdosing does not help, but when it is well managed by diet I can use it to further my management. I hope that helps.
Just to clarify for some people: First few seconds in the video: Is Marijuana microdosing safe? It is a general misconception to believe microdosing is some kind of medication recommendation! First of all it is a common method to scientifically locate and evaluate the measurability and use of a new medicine. I fear a lot of viewer might think this is kind of a discussion to justify the general consumption of marijuana. The last thing you should be thinking is that smoking marijuana has no consequences for your health. Smoking marjiuana still means for a lot of people using tobacco which is scientifically proven to harm you and your surroundings. Cheers :)
This is ridiculous. Almost 100% of anyone I’ve ever known who uses cannabis does not use tobacco. In fact, in most cases, they’re usually ANTI-tobacco. Wait, damnit, have I been trolled?
I'll smoke, dab, eat some edibles and b fine to drive and go on with my day with no problem. I just find it crazy how doctors are on here talking about it needs more research... uhmmm yah let's just take some pills I geuss instead smh 🤡
Then just stop using it. Your brain can still go back to its pre-marijuana state. Just stop using it and start meditation. Meditation is as better as microdosing any psychedelic. Try it!
Meditation is very simple. 1.) Pick a time best for you (early morning or evening, whatever best for you). 2.) Choose your duration. Start off with only 2 minutes. Then gradually increase your timing. For me, I started off with 2 minutes and kept adding 1 minute every day until I was meditating for 30 minutes. 3.) Sit down comfortably. Keep your back straight. 4.) Breathe. Focus on your breath. Breathe in through your nose for 4, hold for 4 and breathe out through your mouth for 4. 5.) As you do this, your mind will start to drift off and start thinking about other things. That's totally fine. The goal is not to shun thoughts but to become an observer of the thoughts. It's like seeing your mind create thoughts without reacting. Just watch them and let them pass like clouds. Gently keep bringing your focus back to the breath. Do this everyday and see what happens.

I’ve been on anxiety, ADHD and @hippietrips__ on Instagram has helped me out in this now I’m doing fine and great he sells psychedelic products , honey , MUSHROOMS and lots more that can help you out
Everyone is different.
Luke silvas lol I actually went to rehab for Xanax.. that was the only drug that calmed me down but not worth all of the side effects and withdrawal.
Sometimes you have to use it in very small doses before you begin to stop feeling paranoid and be able to feel the benefits.
Try Care By Design 40:1 and maybe some live resin cartridges would be better for you it's a more relaxing high.

Marijuana is SAFE.
Yep
It isn't safe
ASNH why????????????
@@lieveling how is it not safe?
This Doctor knows this plant like no one I have ever met in Nevada or California...
My gf broke up with me and left me with nothing... weed is literally the best thing ever makes stress go away makes me laugh makes me happy
Just dont rely on it too much
Just don't let it turn into crack🤪
That guy is high AF 🤣
😂😂😂😂😂
It all makes me Anxious

Google US Patent 6,630,507
US Government holds a patent on the plant but have it as a schedule 1..Talking out of both sides....Talk to the hand...
Try microdosing another strain.
Magic mushrooms are best for the cure of depression.

Yes it helps anxiety
anybody have experience with microdosing and can share with me that? I was smoker for 16 years, i quit 2 weeks ago and i will never go back to smoking but i think what weed had some benefits to me, i think was just consuming it with a very bad way, i was smoking like 200-500mg per day which i think is harmful for the most people. I want to know also if and how much microdosing helps with anxiety/insomnia and adhd brains, i did read what microdosing thc can sharpen your focus, make you more productive, help you sleep more and reduce anxiety but i would like some personal experience. Thank you very much for the informative video, we need doctors like him
Small bong hits give me more enjoyable, big hit give me anxiety
"I have never smoked, but I have been consuming edibles for 5 years. In my experience, I prefer microdosing because I feel it's easier to control, and it's less likely for me to have a bad trip. I usually make my own edibles, so I know when to eat to stay relaxed. I recommend trying a specific product, whether made by you or someone else, and gradually experimenting with doses until you find one that suits you. It's trial and error."
Just one hit of my vape pen and I am golden for the evening and one hit before bed. I think I would consider it micro dosing.
I only buy from the the Canadian govt dispensaries. No additives and no bullshit. Pure, unadulterated pot products. No one else gets my $
microdosing is the best way to live a balanced life, if you take too much you can get really lazy
I've smoked it everyday for the last 20year and I've never been sad never mind depressed
Been taking 5mg of MJ edibles everyday for 5 years.
@Abram Flores
Is that 5 milligrams once a day?
At least this woman Ozzie, was getting results!
that doctor looks like my weed guy. not kidding
3:46 I wish they would point out the specific studies they refer to.
Not doubting what they say but anyone can say they have seen "studies"
I'm glad to see that they asked if there have been any peer reviewed, clinical studies on this. At this point, even the pro-pot person admits that there isn't any real data on this at this point.
That’s because it doesn’t benefit big pharma to do clinical studies.
James Franco is a doctor?
So many healthy happy people keep saying "the research is in early stages" leaving us with autism to continue raising an uncomfortable statistic because we don't have access to the only medication that can help us.

How many of you thought "Dude, its just weed. Relax."?
That’s why I’m doing Delta 8 THC now.
My adult son started taking marijuana for some health challenges he was dealing with- the marijuana has RUINED his life🥺. I feel bad because I supported him taking it.
I feel identified, im the son and i want to try weed for depression and to exorcise bad spirits, i dont want to consult my mom or to ask her for permission because if i fail she probably feel guilty
how did it ruin his life??
@@crazyassboybum Thats a good question. Would like to know myself.
I hate marijuana. I smoked so much weed as a teenager but it didn’t do me any good.
Mmmm even medication will make a function and harm other system...like motrin it helps but it harm other orgarn...
Sometimes I use too much.
For me personally Marijuana doesn't do anything at all except give me bloodshot eyes and like paranoia
Try high-dose edibles, then speak again.
Shoulders of Giants don't u mean low dose !?
How much did you smoke dima?
Sublingually
Micro dose is a much better way to consume considering the strains are modified to maximize thc. In the 80s and 90s the strains averaged 5 % thc max w a equal ratio of cbd or less. Today a common strain average is 15% thc.. almost zero cbd,.. thanks millennials..
“There’s not enough studies”
3 years later lots of studies and 36 states with medical marijuana.
Mj makes my anxiety worse when I’m trying to go to sleep. It’s definitely something else, though.
What kind of mj.
Sativa, indica, and hybrid. All of it makes me anxious and makes my neck tense up. I can only have a good time when I’m active like exercising or hiking, but not if I’m sitting doing nothing or in bed trying to sleep. It sucks :|
You need to micro dose dude.
@@shawnkay5462 that's the big question, how much exactly is micro dosing?

What pioneer!?! Pot has been around for thousands of years!! It was illegal only due to the government saying it would make you crazy. Only cause they couldn't tax it. Our ancestors used it the same as they do now.
no medication can be taken during pregnancy anyway
Set and setting YO
Xani will help with Severe Anxiety but the Withdawel can be Hell on Earth ;
0.2mg every 3 hours is sufficient
Ghost Queen - I’m curious, can you describe the effects and how you feel on this dose?
I have problems with anxiety since i tried cannabis one month ago. Woke up in the middle of the last night with serevere symptoms.
@@solitude4562 wrong 😂
@@19DavidVilla96 what? How am I wrong? It’s a fact. Weed makes you more aware to things so ofc ur gonna be anxious you’re putting all your awareness on the anxiety symptoms whenever you feel anxious. Don’t blame it on the weed. You’re doing it to yourself. It ain’t the weed man. Try getting high again and do something that entertains you it’s gonna feel better for u bro trust me.

Sage Ariya Ray-Morey - Can you talk more about that, please? I’m curious, why do you think that difference is there?
Just to clarify for some people: First few seconds in the video: Is Marijuana microdosing safe? It is a general misconception to believe microdosing is some kind of medication recommendation! First of all it is a common method to scientifically locate and evaluate the measurability and use of a new medicine. I fear a lot of viewer might think this is kind of a discussion to justify the general consumption of marijuana. The last thing you should be thinking is that smoking marijuana has no consequences for your health. Smoking marjiuana still means for a lot of people using tobacco which is scientifically proven to harm you and your surroundings. Cheers :)
Hilarious
This is ridiculous. Almost 100% of anyone I’ve ever known who uses cannabis does not use tobacco. In fact, in most cases, they’re usually ANTI-tobacco. Wait, damnit, have I been trolled?

Then just stop using it. Your brain can still go back to its pre-marijuana state. Just stop using it and start meditation. Meditation is as better as microdosing any psychedelic. Try it!
AyushT I am on a 3rd day of my tolerance break
@@flawlessbutdysfunctional7787 nice bro
AyushT I have never meditated any tips of where I can go to read up on it
Meditation is very simple.
