PRC-77 PRC-25 basic upgrades are removal of vacuum tube in final stage, which increases rage and lowers battery usage. the prc-77 is a vhs/fm radio with a 5 mile radius and weighs in at thirteen adn three quarter pounds. so on the outside of my radio i have a 1968 2 quart canteen, a c ration sock full of real c rations, a m44 machete in a 1988 sheathe thats FARB, one quart with its cup on its side. on the opposing side i have the prc-25s antannae bag, with a two quart canteen dated 1967 with the original carry case. i have my 1967 p65 rucksack but everything in that doesnt matter right now, but otherwise i have a poncho and i dont want to transcript the rest but this is cool thanks i really love vietnam war and all about vietnam vietnam war is the best war vietnam war
Wow you're one of THOSE guys, huh? Calling things that are correct, but made after whenever you're reenacting FARB. Bet you're a joy on forums. Awesome kit, though!

there's a piece of metal around the top of the sheath on period ones
Nice.
Are there anyother rto impressions like this on youtube? pls link
Do you use the ruck straps or cargo straps to secure the radio to the ruck? I'm looking to do an almost identical setup for my LW/PRC combo
I used the cargo straps from the ruck. And a shelf to keep it up
howd you mount your radio?
Wish I could afford all the stuff to make an RTO impression.
