@@Dragonblade722 well, Lucifer and Charlie are caring. They are royalty in hell and they care about the people. Well, Charlie anyway. I think Lucifer lost his Hope but he deeply cares for Charlie. So, that works.

I love the little detail where when it gets revealed, Charlie doesn't look as awkward and uncomfortable as Adam did in the original show. Implying that possibly as Lucifer's daughter she knows Sera can't do anything to her even with this infortmation.
Me too, I saw this and thought it was more in character than being uncomfortable when she had more power than Sera

I didn't really understand though, like in the original version Charlie finds out that Vaggie was an exterminator Angel but in this version Adam finds out that lute and vaggie were together? Or something? I'm so confused honestly 🤔🤔🤨🤨

I honestly feel more invested in this version of the story cuz the protagonist version of Adam has a lot to lose if he fails his mission from his life , family , his position as the representative of humanity and the souls of his damned descendants/children . But in Canon if Charlie fails she's just proven wrong about sinners .

YES! I love this! I’m very meh about the original show, but I love these various Swap AUs because they make so much more sense and are actually really smart! My favorite here is undoubtedly Lucifer, not only does his portrayal in this AU as a kind of angel of death who seems to argue against humanity as a prosecutor is a creative interpretation that actually has legit theological merit, but it also retroactively makes his personality in the show make more sense. Like for example, his warped view of Charlie as his perfect little girl who can do no wrong likely spoiled and enabled her to become the twisted little nepo baby bitch she is in this AU.
Honestly the only thing that would have made this even better would be if Sera said something to him along the lines of “No wonder mankind calls you the Devil!” when calling him out!
(I know I’ve said similar things in the comments of other videos like this but I just love it, it’s so good!)

I have a little theory of my own, since Lucifer stated in the video “I did it for my daughter” maybe Charlie’s the leader of the extermination and hates sinners cause they did something to her mom, Lilith! (But hey that’s just me. I always try to find something with characters and their motivation for doing things, and I know it’s an AU but I have fun thinking about these things)

I have to say, I really like this particular take on the "Swap AU" Hazbin Hotel...there's so many out there who keep Adam in his angelic colors, and have him look completely human, or still have angelic wings even as he's playing Charlie's role and must clearly therefore be coming out of Hell to do it. Sure, I still like those, but seeing clearly-a-Sinner Adam here, with the fangs, red eyes, and pointy ears is definitely something that reads way more as "This guy has been down there and _seen_ the suffering down in Hell." He's earnest like Charlie, but his more forwardly demonic looks versus Charlie's adorable doll-faced looks gives him a certain level of canon!Adam's "eff you, I'm exactly who I wanna be" feel while not being a douchebag.

I know this is already more than 4 weeks old, the animation is beautiful but something I noticed is that vagie Her wings aren't black like Lute's (Original). So I started to think that maybe Vagie feels guilty for killing? (I don't know but that detail is very important I think in the plot?)
