If there's just one word I could use to describe the 2nd day of the 2018 Nitto JL-Experience presented by KMC - I'd have to say EPIC!! After leaving our hotel in Laughlin, Nevada, we crossed over into Arizona, made our way to Bullhead City and then headed up into the foothills of the Black Mountains. After spending some time bombing our way through some crazy fun desert washes, we found ourselves on an old mining trail filled with big rocks and nasty obstacles and ones that would put all our JL Wranglers to the test. We also made a lunch stop in the historic town of Oatman before hitting the trail again to soak in a stunning desert sunset and then ended our day at an old mountain retreat, up in the Hualapai Mountains. Fortunately, the the rock crawling did allow us to get in a bit more filming from the outside but the constant need to be on the move and stay out of the way of the film crew, limited us as to what we could get. In other words, you'll get to see a lot of our JL and shots of anyone who might have been immediately around us. Needless to say, we apologize for not being able to get more footage of everyone else and we hope that you're still able to enjoy Episode 2 of REUNION, for what it is.
It should be noted that 3 of the 10 JL Wranglers in our group were running 40" Trail Grapplers and everyone except for us was either running King or Fox coilovers or shocks. In other words, we did all that you seen in this video with just a basic and pocket friendly, Rancho 3.5" lift.
I love that there are a bunch of 37's in this video. Been watching the WOL vids for 10 years, but just now live where I can get to the harder stuff & 37's are what I am running / plan to run for the foreseeable future. Great video as always, catching up on some stuff I have missed in the last few years.

I've rewatched this Wayalife Reunion Series of videos countless times that I can't possibly put a number on it. It's like watching your favorite movie over and over until you fall asleep dreaming you were one of the lucky ones joining you on these spectacular offroad canyon trails in Arizona. Please don't ever stop making these Reunion videos. Finally, Cindy's music selection perfectly complements the landscape and amazing sunsets.

@Silver Southpaw it's an inside joke of sorts. On KEEP IT TIGHT, our Rocky Mountain JKX adventure, Greg was there when Cindy winch/drives our JK which was a manual up a steep waterfall. She literally had to use every hand and feet to do it. Not something most can do.
@Barry Wilson Cindy and I grew up driving manuals and it is what we know best but the all new 8-speed auto is a much better transmission for sure. As you say, it still takes skill to get through an obstacle like that.
@@wayalifeEddie I'm a Land Rover man having driven series Land Rover lightweights and Defenders, Discoveries and Classic Range Rovers with manual boxes (stick shift) but I'm getting soft in my old age I much prefer the auto. We had a series 3 lightweight with a Fairey Overdrive which worked in every gear which was my wife's daily driver for 4 years.
After watching this video, I now feel like a mall crawler! Nice video Eddie!

Those cactus wheel adapters look awful lol we have something here in southern Illinois we call devil's walking stick which is basically a 10 foot tall stick covered in needless. I have a strong hatred of them lol

Great informative channel. Personally I think your trail guides and spotters put you guys on a trail exceeding the modification and capabilities of the rigs that day. You all made it but at a cost that probably sucked the fun out of it for some. Great driving though! Keep up the good work!

thanks for the reply . your one of the reasons i`m into Jeeps and the Jeeping lifestyle.. wish we could do the mods to our Jeeps in Australia the way you can there.. we cant even buy a JL yet,,, let alone a Rubicon and with all the access you have to all the after market parts and Jeep the community's , you have it soooo good ,,different tracks, different Riggs but we are all the same living the dream either way thanks Bro!!!

Wow...just an awesome trip!! Great save with the winches and some excellent spotting. Bummer about the body damage though, but it is a Way of life!
The body damage was a bummer for sure but we've already scheduled time at our local shop to get it fixed. As you say, it's a wayalife :)

LOL! The fenders are scratched but otherwise, okay. They just need new push tabs to hold them to the body. As far as bumpers go - I think we'll try to look for other solutions before considering a bumper.

There are some very good points made in this video. Look at what Mel is running and do that, make sure you bring an extra pair of underwear incase of interesting angles, and possibly get a new low interest credit card. Good job Eddie, Cindy, Mel and the rest of you guys!

Their biggest problem was that they were trying to run 40" tires on factory axles. Even they knew this was going to be a problem and actually had 1-tons on order. Glad you enjoyed the video :)
