@@layasmintv1170 if you want to promote your business then choose business account, if you are a creator or artist then choose creator account. Although both have same interface.

I have been switching account here and there and not able to change to business or creator account. Do you know any reason why it happen? Instagram support are not replying back?

It’s really strange because when I switch to creator account my page doesn’t let anyone see my posts or following like it just disappears? So I can’t promote any of my posts :(

What type of account Video creator and influncer are use can you help me
If I'm a videographer/photographer should I use creator or business? The one thing about creator is I'm not limited with the music for reals. I'm just a little confused which one I should use.

This is quiet strange, because i have the filtered inbox for months now and the follow/unfollow stats aswell. However i have a business account.
I made sure this by checking the option and i can see the button that says switch to creator account.
However i already have all the tools in my business profile you just mentioned
Yeah they seem to be merging some features. I have the same thing - all the features of the creator account even though I only have a business one. I don't think enough people are utilizing the creator account

same for me and my account is pretty small. I dont even have 1k followers, yet I have a business acc with all those features from the creator account
Hi Alex :) Since you've posted this video, has things changed because I changed to a creator account and under the "creator" option there is a link "set up Instagram shopping" which I assume allows you to have a shop. Are we still no able to use scheduling tools like Later or analytics tools? Please let me know.
Hi, Anushka! IG is always updating, so things have definitely changed since I posted this video 😊 As for your questions, you can set up shoppable feeds, and link Creator accounts to Later 👍🏻

Hi Alessia, if you change your private account to a business or creator, it will become public :)
One of my accounts doesn't show Reels. I tried switched between types and it's on Creator right now. Do I have to contact support?
Hi Jenni! I am not sure why you wouldn’t have this feature. You might just have to wait for your account to update 😊
If theres a page who sells art and craft products or handmade products. Should they be on business account or creator? I have seen many songs and music isnt available on business accounts but available on creator / personal account.
If you are using an account in any way to promote your business, then I do suggest having it set as a business account 👍🏻 Ultimately however, the choice is yours 🙂

When it comes to increasing your engagement, you should think of ad promotion as a complementary aspect to your overall IG strategy. Therefore my advice here would be to make sure you are maxing out all of your organic reach first. As for ad promotion and the different account types, I dont think there is much difference 🙂

You can switch your personal account to a professional account by going to the settings. If this does not work, try deleting and reinstalling the app. Hope this helps!

it seems I cannot switch to a creator account from a business account. It says I need as valid number , but I have one which insta has validated???? the main reaso I wanted to switch is because I cannot add music to my videos. Instagram is not getting back to me with a fix. I must be the only UK account without this facility. can you help?

Hi Isabelli, go to your 'Settings', from there choose the 'Account' option. You should see 'switch to a business account' near the end of that page. Hope this helps :)

I hope you can help me with this question: I switch from a personal to a creator account and since then I realize my stories and posts are getting a lot less views. For example my stories used to get between 600 to 1000 views, now they barely reach 100. Is that common when you first switch or is it something else? It’s about the same for my posts. Can i grow my fan page as a personal account? I can no longer use neither of professional or business account because after the latest update i can no longer see who is viewing my stories, i think this is a bug because it happens only on professional and business accounts, and that is something i can't work with.
So can i still grow my fan page as a personal account like if was a professional account without the insight tool?
Yes absolutely you can. However that does sound like a glitch. You should be able to see your story viewers on all profiles. Try updating the app or deleting and reinstalling 👍🏻
what’s the bad thing about switching to it ?
There are not necessarily any bad things about the IG creator account. The positives and negatives all depend on what the overall goal is for your personal account - I would choose your account type based on whatever is right for you 😊

Hi there, I am not sure why this would be happening. You only get this feature if your account is a professional account so I would check that first. Otherwise if your account is a professional account, then I would then get in contact with the IG help centre as this sounds like a technical glitch :)

Hi there! I thought everybody had that option now but it may have not been rolled out in your country yet...just incase you were not sure where to look, you find the option to switch accounts in the Settings menu. From there you select the Account option and then tap on the Switch to Creator Account 😊

I want to ask a question soo I own a fanpage and made into a creator account but one day i switch it back to be a personal account because of some privacy reasons but after I switched back to a creator account , all my insights went gone. It's not like my old creator account I used to have. May I know how can I get back my old insights ?
Hi Aliya! Your insights show a window of seven days. If you had switched between account types outside of this window, then you would have no insights available as the time period is now outside the seven days. I hope that makes sense 😊

From a visual standpoint to the viewer, do creator accounts look like a normal personal account?
Hi there! there is there is very little difference between the account types.
Most of the visual differences can be found in analytics and DM sections/tabs 😊

Now I may consider to start my RUclips channel and online business a bit later. Would u suggest me to switch to professional now or wait and see?…btw., I received a lot of DM for collaboration opportunities but those accounts and DM look like scams to me…

Why would anyone choose a personal account over a business one , because personal has no analytics? And can I ask what type you have?
I have a business account. If you have a business I would def. recommend a this type of account as you should be making the most of the analytics feature :)

Make sure you your IG is the latest version. Outside of that you can delete and then restore the app. If neither of these methods help, please contact IG directly 😊

Alex Tooby It would be nice if you could actually see which individual hashtags work. Meaning it would show you which hashtags people saw your work from.
I also have all of it on a Business account, don't know if its because i am a tester.

Hi there, 'unread' refers to DM's that have not be read by you yet (they still have the blue dot beside them) and to 'Flag' a message, you open the DM conversation and then tap on the flag icon - it will now marked with an orange dot. This is great for a message you'd like to revisit or take note of. Hope this helps :)

If you are wanting to change your account over from a business account back to a personal account, go to your profile and tap in the upper right corner --> tap settings --> tap account --> tap switch to personal account --> tap switch back to confirm 😊
