Can we make it shorter. I mean the cable. So I get short distance. I am buying x xben zip line kit
You could make it shorter. wrap the extra cable around the tree and put some zip ties around it to keep it nice and neat.

You need to put your clamps on correctly!! Remember the saying! Never saddle a dead horse. The saddle goes on the live line, not the dead end.
