- On July 8th, 2018, Natalie led a healthy belting seminar for 60 high school music directors / voice teachers across the country in NYC at The Broadway Teachers Of America Workshop. Here she instructs the group how to give different colors on "Dyin' Ain't So Bad" from the musical, Bonnie & Clyde. Brian Russell Carey on keys.
Natalie's workshops provide teachers and students with various techniques to access a healthy belt, open up the head voice, strengthen the middle mix, and personalize song lyrics. She incorporates music theory and pitch accuracy to ease fears around ad-libbing. Natalie guides singers with her trademarked method to break down riffs/runs from pop icons and often refers to her mission as "Pop Singing for Dummies."

She has more control over her voice than I do over my bladder 😂
😂😂
Undoubtedly one of the best vocalists of this generation! ✨
We adore you Natalie! 😍
A freakin' masterclass in under four and a half minutes!!!!!!
Damn that dynamic shift at 3:31 is everything. And her tone is flawless.
This should really be required viewing for every single music theater vocal coach and teacher... W.O.W.!!! And SO stunning! Again again!
You are extremely intune with ur voice. Damn i wish one day i can feel like im flying with my voice, being able to do and convey whatever i desire with it. Your videos are actually very inspiring and thank you for sharing 💛
You know your instrument so well, and that’s so inspiring. I dream that one day I could have even just one coaching session with you. 💕💕
living for all these recent uploads
I can never forget the 45 minutes when I got the chance to learn with Natalie two years ago in NYC. I'm still reviewing the recording of that lesson and figuring out something new each time. Thankfully I do way better than I did back to then. Thanks Natalie!! love from China, Jonas :D
It’s really interesting to try and copy some of the techniques you do in live performances as a male singer. I tend to spread on certain vowels when i belt to try and imitate the style and tone but my vocal coach talks me out of it lol. I literally learned how to train my head and mix voices over the years through your teaching reels so thanks for posting vids like these!
I need to see Natalie hit it HUGE! Her voice is amazing!!
My ears are blessed
Blowing my freaking mind on all of this, Natalie!
This is absolutely amazing and SO insprring❤ seriously one of my biggest dreams is to get a vocal training session with you. I learn so much just from watching these vídeos it's insane! Love you Nataliee

oh wow, i loved this!
I enjoy your videos so much I admire the command you have over your voice- I understand what people mean when they say the voice is an instrument after watching your videos. I would love more of these videos where you explain and demonstrate the different options and choices you make when you sing a song.
Hi, I’m learning this song and this video is really helping me out! Thank you so much for putting this on RUclips.

omg "used to be the popstar headvoice" lmao
Has anyone have the full length video?
Break down the riff of Dimash Hello.
Oh I saw this on twitter
Marios AVATAR Ain't she great? It's almost like she is one of the most masterful vocalists currently active.
SuperPianogirl123 very true. Shes very knowledgeable and skilled. Impeccable technique.
And she's freaking hilarious
@@SuperPianogirl123 A virtuoso/maestro. And her voice is so beautiful, like a princess lol and she even resonates while phrasing. Like lord almighty.
And you were saying and comparing her saying she dosen't do dynamics and does not control her voice like sohyang. Look how beautifully she does it. She's a maestro.
@@avantikaroy5146 I said she doesnt appear to have control over her mix ratio and I don't think I mentioned SoHyang. And yeah a crescendo isn't the only thing that you need to be called a good user of dynamics.
That was on a Natalie vocal analysis video anyway
EDIT: oh wait you meant the comparison video ? I dont remember what I said in those comments
not even 1 dislike because duh
Are you classically trained???? You have to be because all the terminology you’re using is exactly what I’m learning as a music major right now
Jacob McCain
Lol of course she is.
It depends on your definition of "classically trained." She's not an opera singer and wasn't trained to be one. She did performing arts in high school with some voice lessons and went to Penn State for music education / musical theatre.
Wil H she was taught using classical bel canto methods
