We tackled this overgrown jungle with outstanding results. We finished off with the Oregon mulching blade see above. It has mulched so good no waste has been removed. Hope you enjoy the video and please like share comment and subscribe and don't forget to press the 🔔 #listentolee
On the strength of these videos I bought one of these Oregon Blades expecting it to not be particularly good, but for a tenner what the heck. I tried tackling my 10 year overgrown bramble infested back garden a couple of years ago with a tri blade but gave up after about an hour having made little progress. Pairing this Oregon blade with my 52cc generic strimmer I blitzed the whole garden back to flat in just over three and a half hours (including tea break). Considering I was thinking about spending a grand on a power scythe this is arguably the best ten quid I've spent in recent years. Thanks for the heads up my friend be well and be happy.
😁😁💪💪💪👊
Hello Lee 😃Does this go on most strimmers? Hope you and your family are all well! I had asked you a while back about the long reach gardena loper,I finally ordered it today! So thanks for that too! Still loving the videos 👌👏
@@gb9877 it has be a brushcutter (bigger strimmer) 👍
Thank you for the review, I was wondering what the tool is . Glad you decided to wear face protection, with so much debris being uncovered. What a big plot! If i win the lottery today, I will buy my friend's house and get you down to Suffolk to manage her "garden".
Thanks, LHL, for the video. Got one!
You've cheered me up no end and 70+ old timers need a bit of cheer after a year of lock-down blues and a wet 2020 Summer-Winter. As a result of that, my lower garden has gone to wrack and ruin and needs some 'serious surgery'.
I've just bought a 52cc 5 in 1 Multi Tool which looks the business and has very good reviews - even though it was the cheapest on the market bar the Aldi online version. Almost all the m/cs are made in China anyway except for the exorbitantly expensive Stihl and differ only in detail.
I also felt inspired to buy the Oregon Mulching Blade at the same time!
I'm chuffed and can't wait for the rain to stop here in the Midlands so that I can give the brambles, etc the battering they have been asking for.
I've also got a low mountain of dried-out dead bramble which I was going to burn or skip - now I'm going to mulch it! All good stuff back to the soil.
Your demo has given an old chap the encouragement he needed.
Many, many thanks again.
Thanks also for demonstrating the proper safety gear - just watched Joe Mills on RUclips using the extension bar and the chainsaw attachment ON A LADDER with no protection and no end guard on his m/c - that IS unbelievable!
Wish me luck, North-Western bro'.
Every good wish to you and yours across the Mersey - from Paul in the Midlands and his Scouse wife
😀😀 Good luck with it 💪
Hi, I took your advice and purchased the blade it was amazing. I got through 1 metre high garden 35 ft by 60 ft in around 2 hours or so charging batteries in-between. I got through so much that the neighbours came out and were absolutely shocked how much got done so quickly!!!!
👌👌👌👊
I have watched several of your yard clean up videos. You tackle some of the most gawd awful messes! I don't know how folks let their lawns get so overgrown. Maybe illness, old age or lack of equipment or money is the cause. Lucky for you whatever the reason, it keeps you in business and you do a good job taking on some daunting projects. Thanks for filming your work.
cheers 🤩 and thank you for watching 👍👍
There is always that 😬
Great to see a blade being used.Does a lovely job of grass and brush in capable hands.
Cheers Geoff 👍
Serious blades. Mulching my way through 6ft high gorse with the 3 prong blade on my 52cc heavy brushcutter. Using my lighter 25cc cutter with the 2 prong blade on the smaller stuff, it's cutting it up nicely for me. Much less clippings. Even mulched up a pile I created earlier from the ordinary blade. Highly recommended, though make sure you use all the ppe
👍🏻👍🏻
Wow what a difference look 10 times better! Great job!👏👏👏
👍👍
I bought the two bladed version of Oregon mulcher blade a few months back, and only got the chance to try it out a few days ago, using a Stihl FS91 four stroke trimmer. Wow! What a great tool for the thick brush! Before using it, I used the stock three bladed Stihl blade, and while it cut brush and smallest saplings fairly well, it left debris that then got in the way of advancing the blade into another swath. I also use a Renegade circular saw type blade for trees and heavier brush, and it, too, has its place. But the Oregon blade is my go to in the thick vine type brush, with occasional sapling. It has the rotating mass to swing through the thick.
👌👌👌it's great 👍
You were not kidding when you said outstanding result Lee!
It’s just amazing what you done with that muncher 👀👍👍👍
👍👍👍🤩
Fantastic blade, I couldn't live without it. Brilliant job mate.
Yeah great arnt they 💪💪👌👌
Impressive! I hope we get to see you do more with this property!
cheers...only a clear up at the moment have to wait and see.. I would like to get it into shape
@@LHLgardenservices I would enjoy seeing you take it from that to a nice garden.
Thanks for the videos learning alot
Got myself one cant wait to try it on a over grown garden
You'll love it 👍
ah i see they had you back on this one lovely garden now
I've been using the stihl version of this blade. I have to agree that they are impressive and very useful. They hammer your strimmer so keep that in mind. At half the price I'll give your blade a try, looks like its does as good a job.
💪💪💪👍👍👍
When you say hammer your strimmer, what do you mean?
@@Dante-vf4sd so they are hard on the machine as you are cutting through tough material.
@@jamesgoddard8375 In what way? The whole thing from strimmer head up through the bars and joints and into the engine?
I venture to assume that the items of machinery that get hammered are the clutch and drivetrain all the way to the spiral bevel gears in the gearbox.
Brilliant video, keep them coming I’m learning so much from you
thank you 🤩🤩
Nice tool the best use in your job is on the allotment the mulching brush cutter turns a pile hedge clippings into nothing fast and hedge clippings mulched make great compost fast. any thicker pieces can be spread with the compost as they rot slowly in the soil.
👌👌😊
That is one amazing blade and it does such an wonderful job to that jungle!!
cheers 🤩
Hi great results with the blade. Would i need to buy a adapter for the blade?
Check their website 👍👍
Amazing, I have a 3 tooth blade which is decent, but I ordered this before the video ended, can’t wait to see the results, thanks lee 👍👍👍
👍👍💪💪👌👌
That is also me cutting trees at the golf course in Carlshamn every day during the winter season. ;-
Greetings from: SWE 🇸🇪

Ah lovely, I like to relax on a Saturday watching someone working harder than me :-) Nice work Lee, you battered through that lot! Got one of those blades a while ago, can't go wrong for a tenner!
🤣🤣👍👍👍
Wow that was quite a job you took on. The muching tool you used and recommended was a good one for sure. Thanks for sharing. Now take a good rest to recover from all your hard work. Great job as always.
🤩🤩👍
Husband said to tell you Thank you big time. I ordered him 1 after watching what you with it. He loved it.
😎👊👊
Thank you for the video. Going to get one, and have subscribed to your channel. Many thanks!
😊😊👍🙏
Blade ordered before the video finished, looks ideal and for a tenner - no brainer. Cheers again fella.
💪💪💪👍👍
Ordered on for my fs55 brush cutter.i have field grass in my backgarden.also pesky brambles tried various blades .
The blade is brilliant...not sure if it fits the fs55 🤷♂️..but if it does you will be happy with it 👍
I haven’t even got a garden but I’ve bought one 😂😂😂😂
😂😂🙈
Ive just purchased one and i look forward to testing it out soon
👍💪💪💪💪
Do you have to sharpen the blade before first use or leave it as it is brand new..??
Just used as is 🤷♂️
I've ordered the 3mm version for the McCulloch B33B. Thanks for the review Lee.
👍👍👊
Hi lee, is it sharp or is it blunt and batters everything to death? Just wondering if it's going through stones and bricks does it lose its performance until it gets sharpened. Looks like a good purchase. I've seen reviews and wondered if their sponsored by Oregon.
it's got a slight edge to it but I wouldn't say it was sharp ..you would never cut yourself on it 👍👍
Love that music!
@@neilmoye588 😊
Had one of these delivered last week. After a quick sharpening, ran it for a few hours on my 27 cc Tanaka brushcutter, which outputs way more power than blade needs. Cut well & controllably, unlike nylon line. I noticed a few rpm ranges where it had the "shakes," likely due to machine resonances AND IMBALANCE. Afterward, I gave it a better sharpening, and put the blade on my Intermec balancer. WOW! Balance was way off. Got it much better, without getting anal. Now it runs silky smooth. For the price, for all that iron, no complaints. Too bad, no more Tanakas- great machine, great fuel endurance. Among the very best, IMO. Recently rcvd 3-lobe Oregon blade was also way off on balance. Strangely, after file-sharpening, balance was dead-on.
👌👌
I call it a blender blade. It's a bit more work when the blade gets dull, when I put a new blade on I was reminded of it's luxurious ease.
I wouldn't say this was sharp 🤔🤔
Awesome job!!
👍👍😊
Awesome job!! Hope you are keeping hydrated. Take care Lee! 👍🏻
🤩🤩🤩👌
Hi, new subsriber, sadly l no longer have a garden but really enjoyed your video.
Thank you so much...Great compliment 😁😁
@@LHLgardenservices You're welcome.
Bought the blade 2wks ago " Absolutely fantastic " wish i'd found it yrs ago.
Mighty good job....
Thank you Henry 😊
"Fan-bloody-tastic"!
Thank you 😊
Would a huskavarna 135R be powerful enough for this blade
I don't know 🤔..sorry
Hi I meant to ask you see that blade does that fit a electric black and decor strimer couse the hole on the blade looks a bit big and you don't get the nuts with it all you get is a washer thing
you need a brushcutter. it will not go on a strimmer. 👍
@@LHLgardenservices and what is a brush cutter
Its just a stronger and more powerful strimmer. It has handlebars to control it . What I am using 👍
@@LHLgardenservices oh OK thanks I should have asked you about it before I bought it but Hay ho I've bought it now but I'll ask about to see if anyone around my way is selling one cheap but thanks again.
Thanks for the recommendation Lee , I'm getting one !
👍👍💪
Good JOB it Looks Better!!!!
👍🏻👍🏻😊
Awesome Job 👌
Thank you Anita 💪💪
Looks great, would it fit a Stihl Kombi?
I havnt tried to be honest but they say its universal...worth a try for a tenner ??👍
great video
Thank you very much 🙏😍
You make me want to get one even though I don't have a yard or the device to use it with!
😆😆😆😆 thank-you 🙏
Good lord what a task! Hoping you got paid well.
🤩🤩🤩💰💰💰
Good day Lee ... when the weather changes , do you do snow removal or lawn care year around ?
we hardly get any snow...couple of inches for a couple of days maybe...never ever bedn asked to move snow. It's been mild most winters and I've been busy all year thank God 👍👍👍👍
Did you stumble across any snakes in that jungle ?
🐉🐉🐉🐉
Right thats it, after a hard days cutting and bagging i,m gonna try this blade!! :)
You wont regret it👌
Allways wondered what these would be like it cut that thick growth up great just ordered one lol . Wont be used much but at them jobs that need it will make a big difference nice one
Cheers buddy ...like I said ..even if you left it in you're toolbox for whenever it's worth it fof a temmer 💪💪🤩🤩🤩
Lee , out of interest , how many cc’s is your strimmer that you use with this blade ? . Another great video mate .
Not too sure I'll get back to you 👍
Bought them purely on your recommendation and they are excellent, use them on my Husky 535LK pro combi, worth every penny!!
💪💪💪👌👌👌
Will it take very long orchard grass?
I've used it on long grass and it was fine but if its all drass you might as well use s brushcutter 👍
Do u think this would mulch down privet hedge cuttings after a reduction??
Yes no problem 💪💪💪💪💪
i''m ordering one Thank you.
👍👍👌👌
Hi could anyone recommend a brush cutter please that the blade will fit? Thank you 😊
Hopefully someone will 👌👌
@@LHLgardenservices 👍🌱xx
Thanks for this got a big Bramble clearing job coming up so have purchased one
👍👍👍💪💪
Great tip Lee 👍👌👌saved me a lot of time. Really is a brilliant blade
@@paulhollins6127 👍👍🤩
Hi would this mulching blade work on a smaller 25cc engine? I have the Stihl Kombi 94 RC with the FS KM attachment.
I don't know for sure but I wouldn't recommend it 🤔
Just ordered. Thanks for the heads up!"
only just seen your comment ....did you get one ? if so how was it 👍
LHL garden services uk It was great! Demolished a overgrown garden with brambles up to my waist in no time at all. Unfortunately, there were a few large stones in there and one of them came up and smashed the French door window. However, this is the first one we have broken in 10 years and I guess that’s why we have public liability insurance. It was a void housing association property, so no repercussions as things happen. Thanks for the tip, definitely my new go to tool for cutting back an overgrown garden now, though probably not for use too close to the house :-)
@@markbulman 👍👍👍💪💪💪😉 yes just got to be aware of your surroundings 👍
Always great videos & useful advise lee ordered and what a mega bit of kit 👍
Thanks pal🤩🤩💪💪👍
Final score Lee 1. Jungle. 0. Great job.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
How did you get the blade to attach, I have a Stihl C5-2 and am struggling. Any ideas would be helpful.
Not sure I know what you mean exactly 🤔🤔 (you have to remove the line feed / head) on some brushcutters you need to change the screw the head goes on but you would have that with the brushcutter. Let me know if you sort it 👍
Boss blade tha 😦😮👌🏻👌🏻 great job 👍🏻👍🏻
👍👍👌
LHL garden services uk ordering one later I’ll use your amazon link 👍🏻👍🏻
@@upthereds4939 🤩👌👌👌
mine just turned up in the post today Lee can't wait to try it out bud
💪💪💪💪happy mulching 😜😜
Started off using Stihl mulching blades at £30-40, then found the Oregon ones at £10-15. No brainer. Even if you're raking up after it's easier if brambles etc. are mulched first.
💪💪👍
Had one of them a while after Nigel pinfield recommended it. Sooo good!
I have one of these blade's but not tried it yet.
Cushdy mate just what I need thanks for demonstration 😁😁👍👍✊
😊👍
I've got a Stihl mulching blade, only use it once but I will give it another try.good work you do mate

We're up get that blade man
Ordered thanks
👌👊
Thought you where going to find a secret garden .
😄😄
Cant buy this tool. Want ship to the US
😮😮🤔
Obviously works a treat, but I've been trying to see the advantage of the 90 degree bend.
Yep..me too ...I think but not sure but the blade is so thin so when close to the ground I find the guard hits the floor but with this it gives more room...I found it brilliant 👍
Hi Lee, in my knowledge I thought the bend was for mulching and shredding as you pushed the strimmer down into the debris as it cuts both horizontally and vertically. Hope this helps, I’ll send photos of a similar job I did on Facebook!
45 degree may be a better angle.
Fanbloodytastic!!!!!!!
abso blinkin lutely 🤣🤣
I bought one of these Oregon mulching blades because I had heard so many good things about them and did not realise you had to have a strimmer to get them to work ….. Anyone else out there made the same mistake ?
Got the two & three bladed, both for about £23, can't go wrong!
👍👍💪💪
ugh….cant get here in the states Lee.
Couple of people have said that ...would be great if I could get some sent over there 🤔🤔🤔
Ive got an address for you if you need one. I usually use the three point stihl brushblade but i like the way that blade tidys things up after its cut.
Definitely late to the party! I've been using them for over 2yrs now, saved me alot of time and effort.
🤣🤣🤣 I knew about them...just didnt think they would be any different 🤣🤣
Whot size strimmer have u got
44cc Efco 👍
If it can launch a stone through a car window at 75 yards, I'm all for it.
It could launch a small 🚀 to the 🌙

Where did you get those protective leggings
Please show more "after" footage.
will do 👍
the problem is the washer - not man enough for the job. it's a pity as the blade is top notch.
Don't know what you are talking about?? I've had no problems 🤔
The horrors gone with the Oregon.
