    Bob D. Is my Grand-sponsor.
I, living in Chicago, and him living in Las Vegas, I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting him. My sponsor has taught me that “I can’t complain about the results I didn’t get from the work I didn’t do”.
Thank you Darryl C. and Bob D.
    Eternally Grateful..

my sponsor talked to bob d on the phone.. he was passed his number and text him, he was on at work when bob started calling him multiple times. when he got off of work he talked to bob and wanted to ask him some questions, but Bob never gave him the chance. Bob asked my sponsor what he did for AA. My sponsor at the time was carrying meetings into detox, working with new guys like me once a week, answering phone calls all throughout the day and leading meetings when asked to speak.. Bob went on to tell him how many service commitments he had and told my sponsor he didn't do anything for AA. Which at the time actually upset him, but later on helped him a lot.. its no suprise a famous speaker like Bob could let that go to his Ego. Either way, I dont believe the person we hear on the tapes is the same person in real life.. but I'm going to keep listening because his tapes are amazing. thanks for letting me share

This was our course... The greatest change in my life grew out of that. I remember that I knew for sure what was in the book and how exactly to do a fourth step. My sponsor said "ok cool let's get to it and read" when we got to 66 he said this is perhaps the most important page of the book. I was thinking "yeah ok" halfway through the break down of 66 into 67 I was bawling like a baby. A veil had been lifted. This was at four years of recovery working on a third fourth step. Absolute game changer!

The affects my column. If you send me your email I'll try to help it's very simple. Basically in the second column "the cause" column we write down in bullet points each cause for each person in the grudge list for example
      1. Steve
      •beat me up
      •embarrassed me
      •stole my lunch money
      That's column one and two
      Then there's column three
      •beat me up
•pride self esteem security personal relations social ambitions
That's column two and three in a nut shell.
I do all of the people in the grudge list like this. Stuff that lands on the grudge list, or resentment inventory are people, institutions, or principals.
The way we do it is each person institution or principal get there own page front and back. First we must make a list of these people institution or principals. That is called "the list". Any who. This all may seem strange but this is why we have sponsors

He’s mine too🙏🏼 What a blessing was to find him by absolute accident. Then I fell in love and finally understand the program. There are no coincidences in life... He said everything that I myself am! Only difference is that I’ve always believed in God! Have been clean from heroin and crack for 20 years. Now I’m only 5 months sober, what I was doing was not sobriety. I feel I’m finally on the right path. I’ve always been an AA member even though I detest alcohol, I am just as rotten as can be, know that God sent me to listen to him for everything was about me and I didn’t see it until Bob D. God forgive me!

I been in the program for 30 years. I wish I had relationships the way men have-relationships .
They keep it so much simpler & real, in my experience.
Woman gossip about other women & they need to cut it out!‼️This disease is killing more women, now a days. If you see a flock of men around a pretty young new comer, grab her & protect her!! She may die bc men wanna 13 step her! Please, ‼️
AA, taught me how to be a lady..Help her to go to women’s meetings & stay away from old jealous, bitter AA gossip woman.Help her. Her insides are completely different than her outward appearance.
The sexier she appears the more insecure she is. Give her grace & point her towards good woman.
AA works if you help others!!🙏

bob d is a very special speaker; the reason mainly is he's not hiding anything, as bad as all we been through the ugliest, most shameful things become useful..things you were willing to kill yourself over are now flat out on the table - where we can get a handle on the truth.....oh boy its an ugly table but we've learned you cannot grow unless each and every stupid thing, shameful thing, is made right.... and even this might not work but its the only chance you have... when he describes the whirlwind inside his head filled with fear....hate....love... loss...and oh god I'll never make it..... that's the tape that's run in my head almost verbatim most of my adult life... people have trespassed against me so badly, I'm hurt so bad by it...set up, made the fool.... and he says I have to forgive them. I want to kill them, but like he says, " I don't Jail well". Im a weekly relapser more or less...I just need the medicine to deal with the feelings.. but bob d and the others know this all too well.... probably better than I myself.. I really like this man. I don't know if you feel that out of him...... but I would bet so.... thanks bob

Dude, if you are on facebook go to zoom aa global meetings and join. He has been speaking at least 3 times a week on zoom the past 11 months. I have been blessed to hear him live at least 40 times during this pandemic. Truly is a blessing

There are 8 columns for step 4 resentments there is no worksheet and more than just 4 columns in the Big Book, whoever made this did not read the Big Book. Step 4 instructions are clearly laid out.

Youve been listening to too many people in AA who make you afraid of it, all you have to do for step 4 is get it out on paper, the steps need to be worked quickly and consistently if you want the kind of freedom Bob describes, I speak from experience I listened to all the softly, softly garbage and "we didn't get sick overnight we need to take our time to get well" and I danced around with the steps then I relapsed after 7 years, managed to crawl back and did the steps with a good strong sponsor I promise you it will change your life ❤

Big mistake in thinking! I had to unload all the garbage I accumulated during my drinking years because whenever I heard anything that would trigger a recollection of some awful thing I had done, it would just reenforce all the reasons why I hated myself so much.
By exposing those dreadful events to the light of day, examine my part, asking myself a lot of why’s , and how I could have
behaved differently, what I should have done instead, helps me to set a blueprint of how to respond should I ever find myself in a similar situation in the future
