    While i am looking forward to all the benefits widespread Auracast technology will provide, i think it is still a bit early in the process to switch all my equipment to this new technology. I am curious to see if the technology will be widely adopted by businesses and public arenas. I enjoy my current technology even though i know more advanced technologies are available. I love my Bluetooth and am not sure how I functioned without it. I also do not want to jump ship too soon to a technology that is not widely available and does not have longevity to justify buying proprietary devices. I want all my technology to work together as seamlessly as possible. Currently, i believe my best option would be to upgrade either my phone or watch to add a few options to the rest of my equipment. When Auracast is widely available and functionality is reliable, this will be a huge advantage for everyone and will reduce the stress of not hearing well. I look forward to Auracast becoming a part of everyday life.

    My phone and hearing aids support LE Audio. The downside is the stability of connection of LE Audio, but the upside is really good. The sound is much better than regular Bluetooth, the distance is better. I can hear audio from my phone from greater distances, across my house for example. My online friends when we are on Discord can hear me so much clearer and the phone calls have more clarity. It will be great when this new technology improves, I can't wait.

    Great update! Very thorough and well researched! I’ve been following Auracast development and am very anxious for it to be widely adopted. I guess I just have to be patient….it will unfold in time. Keep up the good work!

    I have a question regarding whether or not the Auracast technology will be able to support Hi-Rez audio? Bluetooth technology does not currently have the bandwidth for this. Until this challenge is addressed, I personally would not spend money to implement this. However, I do love the ability to support unlimited connections. Bluetooth must upgrade to a better bandwidth medium for all customers.

    audiologists need to expand there scope on hearing. They mostly focus on hearing speech and i get it because thats how hearing aids are developed. Ive posted this question a few times in various places and never get an answer. We are told that normal hearing can withstand 80-85 DB a long timer before any damage is done. THE QUESTION is when you have damaged hearing with some severe to profound loss in both ears are you still safe at those levels or does that threshold now drop to 60 70 db or stay the same at 80 to 85 db

    Do you know when Phonak will offer this technology? Also, will it mean new devices or a software upgrade?
    Thank you for this update. Very informative

      The current phonak models aren’t compatible and aren’t capable with a software update. IMO it’s likely to be included in the next phonak model which likely releases in July/August

    My Galaxy S24 Ultra and my Galaxy Buds 2 Pro both support LE Audio. To really get this adopted Apple has to get on board. Roomers have it that LE Audio won't be in the Iphone 16 lineup.

    I have on order Jabra Pro 20 hearing aides from Costco that have the Auracast feature. I purchased a Bluetooth 5.3 transmitter that I understand is Auracast. Will I be able to use this low cost transmitter to stream audio from my TV to my hearing aides?

    In this RUclips presentation, you mentioned that hearing aids will need to be upgraded to take advantage of Auracast. Were you suggesting that older models of say Oticon hearing aids are actually upgradable? That also suggests that TV adapters like the Oticont TV3 adapter may be upgradable. Would you please clarify?

      My hearing aids with LE Audio enabled can last up to 20 hours when not always streaming. I listen to music a lot, then its maybe 16 to 18 hours in between charges. I'm impressed.

    Exciting that ear buds and hearing aids will use the same technology. Very frustrating that my hearing aids don’t connect to my Apple TV or the tv’s at the gym but my wife’s ear buds do.

    LE has been talked about for several years. Last I researched it a few months ago it sounded like the industry was drifting away from it, so I'm not going to hold my breath on this becoming commonplace. We don't even have places supporting Telecoil which is a tried a true technology.

    Audiologist dr related question. About 10 years ago I had a device that had a flat metal tip placed against behind the ear on the skull for tinnitus and I could hear a high pitched sound to blast it away. Have you ever seen these before? I couldn’t find any information on them.

    My new cellphone, Samsung S24U has Auracast and earbuds I just ordered, Galaxy Buds2 Pro have Bluetooth v5.3 LE. I'll let you know if they go 300' and if the fidelity is extra high. Is it correct to assume that Auracast is a subset of Bluetooth v5.3 LE and not the other way around?

    Good morning. Would love to get rid of Oticon tv boxes. For the home, will auracast be available in either soundbars (preferred so I don't have to buy a new tv) or tv's?

      Not auracast-related, but I've had pretty good luck using the Connectclip for TV. Might be a solution if you've got a lot of TVs or travel a lot. I just clip it/lay it in front of a speaker and it adds a satisfying sharpness to speech. You might expect that to sound pretty janky, but it's not bad. Spouse likes the volume level and I don't really need to turn on the CC any more.

    • @DrCliffAuD

      Nope. It's a feature made possible with LE Audio Bluetooth, made possible by Bluetooth v. 5.2 or 5.3

    Aren't you getting bored with this old marketing and I am surprised by the way you talk and you are so excited about why all this? The other thing is that we hope that hearing aids will disappear soon with an amazing discovery that will restore hearing. This is what you should search for and talk about constantly, and not every day you do new marketing for a company.

    • @VinzTheOnly

      Because the cure for restoring hearing is most likely decades away.

    • @hamoalwrafi9201
      @hamoalwrafi9201 4 месяца назад

      @@VinzTheOnly What you say is incorrect. Why, because if you expand the field of research, you will achieve the greatest achievement in the history of hearing in Britain, which is restoring hearing to children who were born without hearing, and this is an amazing achievement.

    • @VinzTheOnly
      @VinzTheOnly 4 месяца назад

      @@hamoalwrafi9201I agree, that would be an amazing achievement. But congenital hearing loss is completely different to age-related hearing loss which is the most common type. I do believe in time there will be a cure for restoring age-related loss but not any time soon.
