- Finally. And what a special, spectacular moment. Thank you to Will for his help in making the day everything it was, and to Anthony for capturing it. I've been wanting to ring this car out for years now, and I got my first taste of it today.

No dramatic music, no gotcha moments trying to make simple things seem worse than they are, just a stellar video sharing this awesome experience. What an awesome car. You have so much to be proud of here.
Exactly! He’s not trying to be some influencer like so many do. He is just taking us along for the ride and being professional.
Hands down one of the best automotive build channels out there.
In no way are you not a professional. There are countless pros who can’t accomplish this.
I rarely say this... But "LET'S GO!!!!!!!!!" Good sh_t!... well done on a 2 1/2 year project and even more.... Good job on making your dream come true!
100%
We need external footage. I want to see that thing fly by
I want to hear it fly by!
Did you watch the video? There are several external flybys.
11:16 here you go
@TranceFur lol yes I was reading comments as soon as the video started and this was my response at the time LOL.
You will get the footage Mike gives you.
Having done countless 'first track days' on brand new builds I can tell you that yours went awesome. A perfect run is almost impossible and by comparison your teething issues were minor. It is great to see the first run was so positive and I can't wait to see more. Until then congratulations on the milestone.
Impressive level of restraint to not give it a bit of a send after like two laps and a good steering wiggle/brake check.
I'll tell you this, I work at a top workshop in Australia so I know what good work looks like, your attention to detail and process is incredible. Credit to you brother. I like your use of checklists and experts, the result just speaks for itself. Amazing build and you have done an incredible job in all areas to create a car like no other that looks amazing and will probably perform as good as it looks once developed. Hats off man, I am very happy for you. I'll come say hi at WTA at Eastern Creek, or at least sniff your fumes as you drive a hot lap!
He claims he's no professional, while many others with much less knowledge & skill will claim to be professionals.
If I walk in and see a shop like his with car like that in it. Who claims not to be a professional. That's who I'd want working on my car 🆚 someone who's trying to assure me they're a professional and know everything.
@@michaelbrinks8089 100% plenty of BS out there, but the reputation of the shop eventually comes through...
Everything about this episode is fantastic. The car, your contagious enthusiasm, the videography, the voice over. This absolutely is *the* video that marks the next chapter of the channel/build; moving from straight fab time to tracking, breaking, and overall improvement.
Seriously, congrats man. I'm so stoked for you. I can't even imagine how pumped you are or how you're even able to sleep with that much excitement added to your life.
And make sure Anthony knows how great he did! I'd love to see him become a staple of the channel, letting you do your thing without having to worry about repositioning a camera every 5 minutes.
Thanks a ton as always, buddy ☺️ and thanks for being along for the ride this whole time!
Front side fender aero flics downforce and bite into the corners .. Great Car...
Been here since before episode 1, so rewarding to finally see it all come together
Same! I started watching during the pandemic and was hooked!
Mike... after eagerly waiting for 2.5 years to see this beast hit the track, this episode was a nice reprieve. I started watching your channel while hospital bound for 6 months at the beginning of the Ferrari build and your progression and confidence is inspiring to say the least. You quickly became one of my favorite channels and am looking forward to the future of StanceWorks.
I actually love how clinical you guys were about this, rightfully as you’ve put so much everything into this. It’s like watching an f1 team shake down a new car. truly incredible and motivational.
“…So let’s start the conversation” *cuts to starting the car*
Your attention to detail in this build is also reflected in your video production. So many cool little details that add up. Killer work as always Mike.
That was a great transition and caught it as well.
Not trying to say your not a good driver, but do you think you will ever let a professional level driver do a few laps so we can all see what your car is capable of at 100%? This has been such an epic build! Super stoked for you and your adventures to come.
I’d love for Amir or Will to drive the car once it’s baselined. I’m sure it’ll go quite nicely haha
@@stanceworksbenefits of having professional driver friends. Amir was an instructor for my first hpde day. His NSX was still black.
Who will be driving in competition events?
@@stanceworkstake them in the passenger seat for some driver coaching, that would be the best long term :)
@@stanceworks Nice! Super excited for you.
I have been watching this series since the fifth episode and it is so cool to have been able to watch a car like this get built and with such amazing production quality. this is by far the best channel on youtube.
I usually don’t follow RUclips builds, but this one is so creative, comprehensive, and informative that I have been following along for a year now. Congrats on finally getting this moving, I am rejoicing right with ya.
I came across the first video of this build by accident and have been hooked ever since. Great to see it finally being driven in anger. Congratulations Mike! I live in a different state from Sydney here in Australia but I’m hoping to travel over and see you and the car.
It's great to see the car actually doing what it was designed for. Not to mention your enthusiasm :)
I know that I'm not alone in saying that it feels like a really big payoff seeing it work after watching this build come together for so long. And that's just as a viewer, so I can't even imagine how good this felt for you.
Keep kickin ass mike!
Ive said it before and ill say it again... its criminal that you dont have more subs. No hype beast bullshit, no stupid dramatic sound effects and inserted vid clips, no dramatic suspense shit that over hypes issues, your not putting on a show for the camera. Just solid work, solid vids and from a solid dude.
The car seems and feels soooo solid ! The fact that the only problem you had with it was a freaking clamp pin is wild, and a testament of the quality of the work you've done. Solid !
I’ve seen all episodes since the beginning and to tbh it’s been a long wait until today’s. Seeing the built finally running and running so well is pure joy. Wished I was there to watch. Best of luck for the homestretch/shipping day!
Been a while since I clicked this fast on a video!
righttt!!
OMG I can't tell you how much I love this channel. Watching Mike build this beast and seeing it run like a dream is a privilege. I love the rambling, the reasoning, the insight the measured approach. The highs, the lows, the excitement. Pure unfiltered joy. I am so impressed and want to thank Mike for taking us on this AMAZING journey with him. So many thumbs up!!!!
Your demeanor, attitude, and emotion in this video is what every builder/enthusiast should strive for. Loved every second Mike, congratulations. 🤘
Congrats on this milestone and everything you’ve accomplished with this project. What a special day. Watched this build progress and it’s so great to see it come together here. Appreciate the entertainment. Keep pushing.
Super stoked for you! What an amazing accomplishment! Well done and hope you have many years of super fun with what you have created.
I'm so stoked for you to finally get the car out on track! It's a bummer it was cut short, but it seems like it was a success for the most part!
Love that engine sound! A white 308 is the only Ferrari I’ve ever sat in (38 years ago). I’ve watched the channel for at least 1 year and now anticipating the next phase. Well done!
Awesome work Mike, massive congrats! I love the methodical approach that Will brought to the shakedown - that patience and experience can't be underestimated. Also, great camera work by the new guy, props Anthony!
I don’t know how this build hasn’t made you completely famous. That fact that this thing looks amazing and is functional is insane. And you built it as just an average joe. This needs way more attention! Most inspiring build and channel.
Congrats Mike! That is one hell of an accomplishment! Great job! I'm right there with you, 2 1/2 years ago I started my 59 Corvette resto mod project. Last month I was able to get it out on track for a test and tune. I'm in NY not CA so I went to Watkins glen. I could see the joy and excitement on your face. I would love to compare notes and share some pics of my build. If I had more guts I would film some of my work and track days and put them up on youtube. Keep up the good work! You are incredibly accomplished for such a young man! It has taken me until my late 50s to get to this point. Love your channel kid!
Congratulations mate. Couldn't be more pleased for you. the car looks and sounds incredible and I'm sur that it drives the same. Must feel so good to know that all the hard work has been worth it. Seriously impressed by what you've achieved even knowing the work ad cars you've completed before. This is truly top end and thanks so much for sharing the journey!
The sound of this ripping is truly amazing 🎉
I’m really pleased with the sound it makes. Some will complain, but I think they’re close minded.
@@stanceworks only have a small ounce of experience personally on doing a project like this but to a smaller scale. Not a year(s) project from the ground up but something similar at least. When you finally see it all come together and work after having to figure literally everything, especially in uncharted territory on a unique platform, it makes it that much better. That’s what you wait for at the end of the day. Good job Mike! Been following this closely since day 1!
The stock Ferrari lump never a had a truly magical note. Even with a capristo it never really shone. The new combo sounds epic. Purists can whine into their weak decaf almond lattes.
@@stanceworksdude, it’s amazing. My absolute favorite Ferrari.
@@clubsport9334🍻
I know this feeling and it's the best in the world, to take something you built then start to push it to find limits. Seat time and track time will come, and having someone like Will in your paddock can make or break the setup of the project you've put so much time into. I've been following the Ferrari build from the beginning and I can't wait to see what she's capable of!
Your enthusiasm and excitement shines through. Congratulations on a successful shake down and incredible build. Can't wait to see how you and the car progress from here.
Congrats Mike...it's been a long and interesting odyssey for you (and us).
I recall those early days when the project was just getting off the ground very well....and now, here we are.
Can't wait to see you rockin the GTK in Australia.
Cheers, mate.
It's a great feeling when you put a car that you've just built and everything works even for just one lap is an achievement! The pipe clamp failing is a tiny thing to fail on a build of so many components..
Can't wait to start watching it evolve into the fully polished car that it will be
Congratulations, Mike!!
What a great video, a great achievement, a great car. It sounds, looks and goes awesome! Very happy for you 👍, looking forward to the next episode in your new chapter!
It was great seeing this car at the track and meeting with you (briefly). I've been following this build since day one and it's nice to see you getting it out and running it.
I've been here since you were putting on the Liberty Walk kit... I'm absolutely blown away with what you've created. I've driven the 308 and 328 and they're gutless. They look fast but don't GO fast. You've built a car that Enzo would be proud to see go down the track.
Incredible moment for an incredible build by an incredible human. We all proud of you Mike. Congratulations man!
I love this car so much dude. It's beautiful. Hardly anything catches my attention anymore but this machine reminds me of when I was a little kid and found a Hot Wheels car I hadn't seen before. Congratulations!
All my boyish racer dreams just came back to life. Thanks man 🙏 Enzo wanted nothing more than to win races, seems that is an essential principal of your build. He might cringe, but I think he’d be glad you chose a Ferrari.
Loved every minute of this build! the quality of your videos is incredible. Mad to see how far you've come
So awesome to see this build come together. It must be a truly amazing feeling to finally be on track
Dude this is so amazing. I'm so glad i found this channel and have got to watch the incremental work that you have done on this awesome project.
Congrats man this has been a fun journey to watch. I can't wait to see whats next!
Anybody else just smiling uncontrollably during the entirety of this video? So fucking pumped for you Mike, this is an unbelievable achievement. Can't wait to see you dial in the car 100% and know all of its quirks like the back of your hand and watch you beat the balls off this car!!
This is awesome. Big Congrats to Mike!!
Chloe built one hell on a car!! #MoreFryCam
HAHA!
So happy and excited for the progress thus far! Great work! Keep it up!
Best line in vid regarding the Honda engine swap “…to drop weight, add power, and increase reliability”! LOL sums it up perfectly
I'm so glad you used this sentence for the title, now I'm sure you're reading our comments. According to my calculations, the "Ferrda" goes from 0-60 in about 3 seconds, and in the future it will probably go under 3s. I share your enthusiasm because I build an Opel Calibra myself. Many greetings from Serbia! ;-)
Awesomeness! Congrats on your journey. I can just imagine how it feels getting to where you are now after all this work. The car looks and sounds fantastic. Can't wait to see your continued journey. :)
This is incredible!! I’m so happy to see it get to the point it is!! Inspiring!!
Amazing job! Car is coming out incredible. Sounds awesome. Happy for you! Must feel great enjoying the result of so much time, love and effort coming together. Best of luck! Keep the great work.
congrats and thanks for letting us in on the journey. had so much fun following your progress from afar. greetings from germany!
Congrats on getting the car on track and getting some great practice time. It’s amazing to see how far you and the car have come. Hats off to you 🫡
What a fantastic video.I love the enthusiasm even though Im sure at times it's super stressful building and driving a car like this. Keep up the great work.
awesome episode! been following from the very beginning. amazing to see how far you've come. the car is so cool... and sounds incredible. someone needs to build this in assetto corsa or something so i can virtual drive it.
Awesome video and awesome progress. This has been such a great series.
Everything has led up to this point, and I'm happy for you Mike. Killing it as always. Been here from the very beginning of the build and to see it from the beginning to where you are now is insane. Congrats man
Insane work! Congrats on the achievements!!
You look tired and awful...
Jokes aside, what a milestone! The car sounds so healthy and good!! Youve created an absolute beast!!
congrats, this build has been insane and the content you have brought out is in depth. Keep up the good work and can't wait for the next episode
Dude, I've been watching since day 1.
You got there!
All I can say is well done, mate! Cars turned out sweet and is a great looking car! 👌
So nice to see this beast moving at pace. Congratulations .
Enzo Ferrari knew damn well he was beaten by Soichiro Honda at the end.
Been here since the first few videos, it's amazing to see it on the track!
Bravo, well done, you deserve it. In a few weeks it's going "down under" and sure wish we'll get a ton of footage from the time you are there and having fun!
Awesome video, congratulations on the success so far and the potential yet to be unlocked. I'm super happy for you and excited to see what comes next!
Its a ferrhonda 🥇💯🔥
I think Enzo would have been very impressed by that 4-cylinder’s capabilities
Enzo would've had his company race this lol
Really happy for you Mike! It was fun seeing that little Ferrari buzz around the track after all your hard work!
Very smart move on your part to have someone like Will take you through the right break-in procedures. 👍
That's a smart/proper shakedown. The candid smiles this car produces when driven... and even watched are real too. Awesome!
Nice butcher job!
Enzo Ferrari is rolling in his grave because RedBull Honda beat his team in F1.
Congrats man Great project! They could blow you up dude and all they’d find is a big ass smile laying on the ground!! Keep rollin!!
DUDE!!! That is real inspiration. My car is just a 4AGE MR Mini but your progress is helping me stay motivated to get her wire up, started and driving. Thank you for all you content, advice and teaching. You help guys like me believe it is possible. Thank you.
FINALLY!!!!!!!!! It has been an extremely long time coming. Congratulations Mike and everybody else who helped in this build. It’s amazing to see this car rip around the track
Congratulations 💪💪 I have wait 2 years for this video and it totally deserve it. What a great job
Congratulations Mike, great work so pleased that your day was a success. Can’t wait to see the car in Sydney- frothing for it!!!
These are such great videos and I really need to see this car in person. Top Ten YT build of all time right here. Thanks for the footage, the narration, the editing, and of course the wrenching!
What a day Mike!!!! So happy for you.
So very happy for you. With all that you have done, built and installs in the car. And to only have a few issues with the car, congratulations.
I have never been able to experience a car on track that I have built from the ground up such as this. I was present for the blessed event that was the birth of my daughter. I know the overwhelming sense of happiness and joy I felt that day. I have to think Mike was feeling a bit like that after this track day. Well done! What an accomplishment. Such a cool car...and that engine note is glorious! Almost wish it was louder.
Jeez..I'm so happy for You! It was amazing to see the beast on the track but what gave me propably the most excitement was the pure joy and happiness on You.. You're proud of Yourself and it shows.. and You should be!!! Thankyou for sharing this amazing journey!!
What a build, and what a builder, congrats on such a well executed project and going the extra mile on basically everything really shows(watched every episode of this build, great stuff).
I am so proud of you and this channel, and exited to see the ferrari going faster and faster, thank you for the content and effort to video quality!
Loved this one mate!! Finally seeing this thing rip is awesome! Followed this build from the beginning and it’s nothing short of amazing! Enjoy it!
Stoked for you, great job. I have similar Quaife sequential. When you get another track session, try using left foot for braking and no clutch on shifts. Takes a while to learn but pays off with smoothness/ speed
I don't even know what to say man, this was just the best. The First Drive video perfectly captured the nerves of driving a creation for the first time. So happy to see a successful track day. Keep it up man, I learn a lot watching your fab, and just enjoy the channel.
Congratulations! Been watching this project since the beginning and it was amazing to see and hear it rip on the track. 👍
Mike! The 308 GTK24 is AMAZING, I’m so stoked about it. Joined you at episode 1 and man am I glad I did that! Keep rocking!
Congrats! I enjoyed every second of this. Best of luck with the next test session.
Car sounds awesome! Been watching this series for over a year now, and am super happy you've stuck with it to see the project completed. This is hitting both my race car fantasies and my childhood Ferrari fantasies all in once kick ass project. Bravo sir!
Congratulations!!! So amazing to see this car come to life. I was rooting for you all the way. Keep on pushing and exploring the limits, that is what these machines are here for after all
Thanks for making this kind of content, seems nowadays it becoming rare to get honest and pure content. Keep this going! Wish you all the best in future projects.❤
CONGRATS Bro! I know the feeling you are feeling. Mine was in drag racing. Happy for you. Great work.
Fantastic work, Im so pleased it works cuase it looks killer!!!!!!!!! and as a Honda driver and Ferrari lover-BRAVO!!!!!!
Congratulations from The U.K .Been watching from Day 1 of the build what a journey.Excellent work Mike, your dedication to the project and documentation in all the videos ,the hard graft you put in to get you here is inspirational and well deserved. Here’s to all your future success with this project.Well worth it.
man this was so sick Mike!! ive been an avid watcher of your channel and all the videos leading up to this, it was so satisfying to see you get to rip that thing! sure not to 100% but that was smart and in the end very wise with that clamp poppin off. youve gotta be so happy, and were all so stoked for you! what an accomplishment dude. super motivating and inspiring to get a project and start workin on it. keep up the good work mike! cannot wait to see the next video on the channel! you do an awesome job producing this content.
I can’t believe I’ve been watching this build for 2 years!! Maybe I DONT have commitment issues!
This was only my second video in…and man I am rooting for you all the way in this! I can’t wait to go back and watch the older videos. I love your explanations of things and just seeing the fabrication processes is just plain awesome! Blessings buddy!!!
Man, this is great!!! I could talk forever about how excited i feel as a viewer to see this car finally driven in anger after so many episodes, but just Mike's excitement alone takes this to a whole new level. I myself know nothing about building cars other than in videogames (I'm neither a pro fabricator nor driver, sadly), but even if I had zero interest in cars whatsoever, just knowing how long this project has taken... Im equally happy for both the 244GTK and Mike , and for what the future will have in store for them...
Amazing mate. Overall a fantastic result, with only minor teething problems. Looking forward to seeing it in Sydney.
So good to follow along with this build in real time from the beginning! Congrats Mike, it's bloody awesome! Wish I could come watch when you're down here for WTA!
