    the real p226 decock the hammer halfway because when theres 1 in the chamber and the hammer fully rested it could accidently hit the firing pin and then fires itself.. its just a touch of realism

    Decocker works, dude! Just keep your thumb on hold when pushed...like the original

  • @squirrelynutzairsoft
    @squirrelynutzairsoft Год назад +6

    That's how a decocker functions on a p226, sig sauer approves replica designs themselves to match real steel. You use the decocker before you holster to have it set to single action ready for the draw.

      Is the decocker supposed to half cock the gun or decock the gun? My gun half cocks it.

    • @Jeranhound
      @Jeranhound Год назад +1

      @@jjtwins9262 The 226 goes to half-cock. If it were all the way down, it would be resting against the firing pin.

      That’s not how the real steel works mate. Decocker on the real Sig p226 doesn’t drop hammer half way as shown in this video. Though it doesn’t drop all the way and rest at the firing pin as someone mentioned correctly but rather drop almost all the way about 3/4 position not 1/2 or half way. There is a small gap between the hammer and the firing pin when the decocker lever in engaged on the real Sig p226. Btw We Tech Sig p226 airsoft nails this mechanism imo, the hammer drop like the real thing and double action firing works perfectly. The fact that Sig Proforce of all people messes this up still boggles my mine.

    I noticed a few times you said that you were not sure about things as well as repeated thing. Try writing scripts as well as researching a bit more for reviews and it would separate you from the rest of newer people making airsoft reviews.

    Nice pistol, great feel during action. but mine began leaking gas out the crimped bottom of mag after 3-4 months. upgraded to what was supposed to be better, but after 1 month that mag was leaking too. have given up on gas pistols.

      Just the grip which is weird. The p226 the real one the entire pistol is made put of steel and the grip pannels are made out of polymer
      Sorry the slide is made put of steel and so as the barrel frame is made put of aluminum the real one I'm talking about. I would love to own the airsoft version of it if it's like as the real p226. I'm on the fence of the p226 or a hi capa. I love 1911/2011s

I know in this video the pistols are not loaded....and are airsoft replicas..... but it is a bad habit to get into..... Treat every gun like it is loaded at all times!!!!!! As someone who has had a negligent discharge.....Im Just looking out for you my bro...
