They're all incredible musicians. Akane and MISA drove this to number glorious heights. When I concentrate on the way MISA lays down her bass lines I am reminded of what a genius she truly is. Kanami's riffs and solos are insanely brilliant, As for Saiki and Miku these two ladies are unstoppable when it comes to electrifying the audience.
She was blocking the monitor to mess with her. Miku is the lyricist but once forgot the lyrics during a concert so Kanami is messing with her here, similar to what they're doing with Akane at the drums.
The Gorilla's Triumphant Assault and RED MISA. On the occasion of this song, everyone raves about Saika's adventure with the participation of the crowd in the audience (Zepp gig), an excellent Mincho solo, and now Akane's happy fury. Meanwhile, for this song MISA wrote probably one of her best bass lines. As hipnotic, gentle and melodic as only she can.
I can´t help but celebrate somebody´s still able to smile while performing a rock piece. These lovely ladies act as friends playing music in a garage, relaxed, no pressure at all. Kanami always is good, Akane masters at her "happy drums" but my favorite performer here because of her solid performance in the background is Misa. She´s been my fave in Band-Maid since i first saw her playing bass.
We keep trying to tell you that they are the best rock band in the world right now!! And if you didn't know already I am a Huge AKANE Fanboy! So yea, this was just killer. The Beast from the East tearing up the skins!!
Akane wasn't blowing kisses, she was making faces. It's the same thing Kanami, Miku, and MISA were doing when they gathered around the drums in the live version of "Domination" (which was later in this same concert).

Miku harmonizing perfectly with Saiki. Akane murdering the set with a big smile. Kanami rocking together with her apprentice. Misa being the dark knight with the baseline, and always trying to mess with Akane in the background. It's hard to choose my favorite performer for this one. Their interaction is just awesome.
One of the best live songs by Band-Maid I think. The drum solo alone is unique for the past decades. Everything else, as always, well above average. Maybe not as catchy as "Blooming" or as phenomenal as the instrumental "Onset". But, I don't want to downplay anything. This band is miles above average and currently unmatched live. First, that was Miku singing, not Kanami, second, when you saw the ladies going up to Akane it was to make funny faces at her! Yes Akane is a beast on those drums. My guess as to why they’re so happy is because prior to the show they found out they were gonna play Budokan of Feb 12, 2121 on their holiday! Budokan seats 10,000 people! They have made the big time
You mixed up Kanami and Miku, but that's fine. Just to clarify, Kanami is the lead guitarist and she's the one that sang backup during the Anemone acoustic performance. Miku was the one that had a vocal solo in this song. She's the rhythm guitarist.
This is a great version of "Freedom". Akane on the drum solo was awesome. There used to be a video of this song from their Zepp show on YT. It is taken down now. Miku had 2 lead singing parts on that one. Once at same spot as this version then towards the end Saiki goes a bit into crowd to sing and gets kidnapped by that crowd so Miku had to bring it on home on lead vocals. No drum solo in that one though.

Sadly, that acoustic version of Anemone has been taken down. Hopefully it'll return. But that was Kanami, the lead guitarist, who sang so beautifully on it whereas here it's Miku, the rhythm guitarist and founder of the band. Nice to see Akane getting a long solo on the drums. Another great reaction and, as you say, so happy and relaxed and egoless considering the superb music they are putting out..
The whole 23-song concert is this good. I think this tune may have become my favorite. They are so tight musically and having so much fun it's infectious - even watching on a screen.

No biggie but, the puzzle/anemone was actually Kanami(lead guitar) this one is Miku(rhythm guitar/back vocals). The reason they were all smiling is cause they knew what was coming up. 🤣 This version added Akane's drum solo and bridge before the usual Kanami solo in the regular song. This is a great example why their live versions are better than their music videos😁👍
"Freedom" is always one of those songs, or maybe that one song that seems to release a lot of interaction between them, like it's a relaxing, no-pressure song, a moment to chill out... in some of the shows I've watched, "Freedom" is played near the end of the show, just a couple of songs before the last one, but in this show, this song is the 6th out of 23 (Thanks Dave Cook for the correction)... and in this concert this is already the second Akane drum solo (Akane opens the show with a drum solo that lands over "Rinne"... it kinda sets the tone to the whole event...) Because of these interactions and the mood that it always brings, "Freedom" is one to check every performance you can get your hands on... The one at Zepp Tokyo 2018 is simply amazing... not only you have that small lead vocals from Miku, you also have Miku doing Saiki's part (for the delight of Kanami, Akane and MISA watching her hit that last note)... some moments before Saiki climbed up the crowd fence and sung almost engulfed by many many hands of the crowd while the some staff personnel holds her (by the belt?) so to keep her safe - when it's time for Saiki to return to the vocals, she is nowhere to be seen and Miku takes the lead to wrap up "Freedom" singing Saiki's part... One other thing to say about Saiki... What a voice!! Man, what a freaking power voice she has in this concert!! She is a beast!! Always remember "Freedom" as one of the best moments... just take off the quotation marks and it still rings true. Freedom. Band-Maid is the best.

OK Miku and Kanami are about the same height, both wear black and white frilly maid outfits. One big difference - Miku has a red flower on her head. (Saiki ha a blue one.)
