When I play rogue I like to try and find the ice biome early so I can get some quick frostburn arrows and a boreal wood bow. The debuff adds a good amount of damage early on.

Literally all they need to do is revert rogue back to like playtest 3 or 4, from way back. It wasn't landmine stupid, it filled it's own niche, and it felt fun to play. It has never felt that fun to play since
Good start in terraria, I would recommend heading as far as possible in both directions and just exploring the surface caves for chests for easy gear 👍. Great video
they should just include creep into pickpocket like they did with the belt perk for pots etc. and then they should add a penalty to either weapon damage or physical power to pickpocket perk as well, so pickpocket doesnt get abused for combat because of creep (same with hide maybe)
had dozens of people W key straight at me in pitch black rooms. games is already tarkov v.2 with how many people are blatantly ESPing. god only knows how many decide to at least TRY to be subtitle.
Stealth and imperceptibility are two different things. Stealth takes effort, skill and strategy-What we had was people either using the damage boost to W key people or being completely undetectable and jumpscaring people. They DID need to change it, but this change is bad-Rogue does not need a nerf he needs a rework. The current see-saw balancing strategy by IM is not working on Rogue, they either need to rework his ambush/hide from the ground up or add new meaningful counters(Lanterns/torches breaking hide ect). Some new content like a poison wheel and actually useful map interactions(Actually good utility abilities which can help the team).
@@subjectdelta5348Just add a damage debuff for 2 seconds after coming out of stealth to avoid oneshotting people and thats literally it. Thats the only real issue this class had, why did they target the stealth😂😂

@@JuanAntonioGarciaHeredia The issue I had is that it's not stealth, it's imperceptibility. Stealth would be using shadows, muffling your footsteps instead of outright cancelling them, sticking to blind spots ect. Stealth is incredibly difficult and SHOULD be rewarded for a class like rogue; What Rogue currently has/had was imperceptibility where there was no counter for the majority of classes or ways to detect them.
Rogue “dying” is healthier for the game than what it was prior to this patch. I think it’s a great update. Also it’s not like it was true “stealth”, it’s not like the average rogue was skillfully navigating the map and ambushing you. All they do is rat around crouching the entire time around popular spots looking for easy kills. Playing against a rogue is worst than playing a warlock. Class is still fine, you can still hide ina corner and get your land mines if that’s your sorry gameplay you just can’t cheese the entire map anymore.
@@ozylocz4078 all this did was take away their ability to move around. This will make landmine so much worse. They did this before and that's exactly what happened. They're too squishy to fight straight up. Without the stealth the class fails and is forced to landmine.

No way rogues are complaining about having to actually fight and learn spacing right? They’re not the only squishy class and they also have range. Makes for shlt gameplay and honestly if I don’t see another rogue going forward it’s a great thing for me and most players. So this was a great update imo.

Wizard has countered rogue this whole wipe, why would they need revenge? Other than a handful of druid games I've solo wizarded for this wipe and died maybe 3 times in 200 hours to rogue, whilst killing probably 50 in solos. They can 2 shot rogue without staff mastery in melee, and light orb + slow means theyre always safe. Wizards dying to rogue in solos before were either really bad, or building poorly (no light orb in solos)

Rogue was the only reason I started playing DND after watching it for a bit. I was about to buy the game, but this changed my mind on buying it when they can just gut your favorite class overnight. Why can't double jump get some love now? Nothing to compensate in other aspects for this gut job on rogue.

I wish they had perks that had like a chainlinked effect... e.g. Hide mastery with creep allows you to walk whilst stealth'd but then if you have pick pickpocket it cancels noises as well as obviously being able to troll steal loot.
I think that the audio being added was fine but revealing any part visually is outrages for hide. They should have tried just the audio and tested from there. Now we are back to pre multiclass rouge aka useless now.

I'm no game designer, but i feel like Rogue would be much easier to balance, if it's playstyle relied more on the dexterety and speed associated with it's fantasy archetype. Also more fun to outplay opponents with good movement, instead of running them down out of stealth in my opinion
well, i played rogue quite a bit and honestly it's hard to REALLY use movement when your weapon has no range, the only real option was hugging the guy and relying on your higher DPS. If rogue takes the first hit he probably already lost the fight and if he can't reach you before taking that hit everything gets quite hard.

Question: Is it okay if I play on an Expert world in Terraria or do you spec Mastermode each time?
If you look closely in the beginning, you can see that his actual world is on Expert mode.
As it is a guide for rouges, it obviously suggests being squishy. Mastermode only.
I feel like rouges stealth should work like the wizard invisibility spell where you can move as much as you want but it only last a few seconds.

The only thing rogue is good for now is free lockpicks. Rogue was near the bottom of the tier list in 3s and pretty good in solos now its absolute garbage. Why play rogue when you could play a barbarian or a fighter and buy invis pots?

Map awareness is key and cloudyshades clearly doesn’t know how to inspect a player(see if they’re a landmine rogue😭) prior to a match starting. Then, without fail, will sprint into every room and ignore all of the dark corners. Skill issues are why this nerf came about

This. Players will cry about getting 1 shot by rogues but get absolutely BULLIED by strength Druid meta and even properly geared barbs can 1 shot any of the squishier classes. Ppl just can’t hit headshots on the squishiest class in the game and now we receive nerfs like this smfh
