VIVA AIR Super VIP 🇦🇷⇢🇨🇴 Trip Report EZE to MDE

Full review of VIVA AIR Super VIP from Buenos Aires Argentina (EZE) to Medellin Colombia (MDE). The plane flown is an Airbus A320.

My reason for this route is because I wanted to fly a budget airline for some different style content and this is the only direct route from EZE to MDE so I decided to do it. My last time flying budget was Spirit Airlines from Las Vegas to Cleveland in mid 2021.
Overall this was a very rough trip. Mainly because of the departure time of 4:40 AM. IMO this is one of the worst times because you practically can't get any sleep for the night. This was the biggest factor in the difficulty of it. Also, the chairs do not recline at all, a very common feature of budget airlines.
Lastly, there is no onboard food, drinks, or TV but there is a menu for paid snacks. Although being a budget plane, it was brand new and had a new feel to it. Clean seats and bathroom felt very new.
Seat formation was a 3-3 and Super VIP is the first 5 rows of seats. Overall I would not recommend this flight if you are very sensitive to sleep hours or sleeping upright. But it is doable if you must. It is the only direct route from EZE to MDE so it does the trick.

EZE to MDE (Viva Air) - February 2023 ~ A320, 6.5 hrs
Premium Economy:
EZE to BRC (ARG) - February 2023 ~ B737 MAX 8, 2 hrs
