The pianist is lovely! Besides her skill and technique, she does not suppress her joy and feeling this incredible composition. What a gift to view and hear this with her!
-Trio in B-flat major for Piano, Violin and Cello K.502. -Quintet in E-flat major for Horn, Violin, Two Violas and Cello K.407 (24:22) -Quintet in C-major for Two Violins, Two Violas and Cello K.515 (42:18)
Just glorious to hear such beautiful music performed so magnificently. I am always amazed at how totally musicians become one not only with their music, but with their instruments as one can see watching the facial expressions.
True art is created by people who FEEL what they are doing, whether it be painting, playing an instrument or writing. It is not enough to simply go through the motions. The work must MOVE you in order to move others. Mitsuko is an artist. Very well done.
Fabulous... I play this in my office frequently for background "elevator music". But frequently I have to stop and watch and really listen... because it is so well done.
The pianist, in addition to playing the Mozart wonderfully alive, did not suppress her smile. Guess what, neither did I!! I was enchanted with the performance!!
Esmeme I was just reading the first book for the first time in years and the mention of chamber music on Dumbledore's chocolate frog card made me look it up. Funny seeing this as the first comment!
Fabulous playing. The horn is so musical, beautiful tome. The piano trio is a first hearing for me. It made me so happy. Wonderful, expressive pianist. Great to see and hear Ida Kavafian and the cellist Timothy Eddy (?)
Who the eff are the ten people that down voted this? And to those who critique the performers' movements, I say this: it's music. Who cares what the hell the people are doing on stage if it doesn't detract from the sound they produce? If it bothers you that much, just close your eyes and listen to what they are playing. Not that difficult.
The piano Player should always Smile because Mozart Smiled and she did a hellava job Matching Anna and Tims greatness and Mozart must be Smiling at this Performance
A performance to match the vivacity, dynamism, reflection come melancholy of so lyrical a composition that moves with such elegance, poise and sincerity from one mood, concern or feeling to another, as in the reading of character, that is wholely empathetic.
+eingerald The pianist is not Mitsuko Uchida. Uchida's name was merely brought up in the ridiculous conversation below. Uchida is 67 and Japanese; this girl is 36 and Korean.
I just finished watching this, saw the musicians' names in the credits, walked in the lunch room, looked at the newspaper, and saw Soyeon Kate Lee's picture. She was doing a concert at the local PBS studio as I was looking at it. Twilight Zone.
Quite apart from the lovely music-- what I like about Chamber Music is the necessary and positive interaction among the participants; more intense than the impersonal and formal setting of the orchestra.
This is some seriously solid performances all around. Mozart would have been pleased. (Other than the excessively and tritely theatrical pianist who wanted to be the center of attention, of course.)
I am absolutely sure the pianist felt the music deep in her soul and merely exhibited it through facial expressions. Have you seen Mitsuko Uchida perform?. She is also very expressive. You are correct in assuming that Mozart would have enjoyed and approved this performance..
Yes, Mitsuko is another one of those, I dislike her for that. You cannot say that there is zero theatrics in both; classical music is not supposed to be celebrity creating by stage acrobatics. Im sorry. I never saw masters like Alfred Brendel, Annie-Sophie Mutter, Martha Agrirch resort to this kind of trite convulsions on stage.
Yes Wolfy would have liked this performance to be sure. :) Yet, the Kappelmeister would have certainly sanctioned the pianist for tacky behavior before the Emperor and she would be ousted from the Court circles.
@Robert Hanson amen! @PiroozAzDirooz I assume that you disliked the pianist because she didn't fit the mold of a "serious classical" pianist. Maybe I'm wrong. That's what happens when assumptions are made.
PiroozAzDirooz, That is why people have different views/opinions about issues. Can you imagine if we all had the same taste/views and opinions?, the world would be so boring. Besides, opinions are frequently subjective. I like Mitsuko, Sophie Mutter and Julia Fischer (violin virtuosi) Best regards,
This is so broken. Chamber music played on stage w/ a venue full of observers. Does nobody else see what is wildly wrong w/this? Chamber music is not concert hall music. It is more personal.
That painist - she was the reason I couldn't really enjoy the piece. The amount of facial expressions are ridiculous - trying to keep the spot light on her the most. Just don't over do it.
The pianist is lovely! Besides her skill and technique, she does not suppress her joy and feeling this incredible composition. What a gift to view and hear this with her!
I'm one of the few African who loves chamber music
Love from New York my man! ❤

Merlin brought me to this. He it was the best rock concert ever.
@@redflipper992Boo! 😮 Stop being a hater!

the pianist feels this, i love it. all are wonderful, thank goodness for beautiful music like this
Just glorious to hear such beautiful music performed so magnificently. I am always amazed at how totally musicians become one not only with their music, but with their instruments as one can see watching the facial expressions.

Superb! Chamber music at it finest!
Fabulous... I play this in my office frequently for background "elevator music". But frequently I have to stop and watch and really listen... because it is so well done.
music is just this :)
bravo
to "stop" ourselves and just to listen
This is simply beautiful, unlike the "trite" critics. If you cant do, teach. If you can't teach, criticize. The pianist is wonderful.
The pianist, in addition to playing the Mozart wonderfully alive, did not suppress her smile. Guess what, neither did I!! I was enchanted with the performance!!
There is no pianist
Skylar Thomas There obviously is, RIGHT THERE between the cellist and the violinist in the fore ground. Its impossible to miss
chamber music has a more laid back and casual feel that and a much lesser toll than an symphony that's why you find the musicians having fun
I'm amazed at how well this was recorded. sounds perfect.
Oh to live in NYC and be able to attend such concerts.
This is my favor music
Wonderful performance 👏
Dumbledore brought me here. And I actually really enjoyed this, beautifully played.
Esmeme I was just reading the first book for the first time in years and the mention of chamber music on Dumbledore's chocolate frog card made me look it up. Funny seeing this as the first comment!
lame ear glad someone else is here for him XD
Me to 😀
Same page 103
Yes! Page 103 on the chocolate frog card!
what fabulous playing.
Music at its best with this trio of Mitsuko, Ida and Timothy.
CJ PREMVARDHAN The pianist is not Mitsuko Uchida, shes 67
Beautiful performances all around and those who can't... critique.

My mind is already blown. You can stop now. Jesus, Mary and Joseph.

Who cares what the hates think...They're in the ZONE! Got their game face on...It's a performance!
+betastrep They liked it so much they turned their screens upside down and gave it a thumbs up ^__^
+Devi Cusack Lol... what a polite sociopath :)
Superb musicianship from the Chamber Music Society of the Lincoln Center playing Mozart.
That pianist geeking out so much.
horrible,
pity because she plays great
Beautiful performance.
Wow...what a beautiful job they did!
The piano Player should always Smile because Mozart Smiled and she did a hellava job Matching Anna and Tims greatness and Mozart must be Smiling at this Performance
Such a motivational video !!! Thx
This is magnificent music.
Enchanting!
I love the pianist's facial expressions. She's having a lot of fun.

Blessed are the New Yorkers but I am meeting them in Harris Theater in Chicago, bit excited.
Ms Uchida is obviously enjoying playing this amazing music. God bless her and the others for playing it so well.
+eingerald The pianist is not Mitsuko Uchida. Uchida's name was merely brought up in the ridiculous conversation below. Uchida is 67 and Japanese; this girl is 36 and Korean.
+28joshg ...and beautiful in her response to the music.
Damn I wish I could play it must be as twice as fun a listening
A programme of the pieces would be helpful. Yes I know all Mozart is divine but.....
wonderful !!!!!!
👏👏👏👏 Chills.
I do not think that Mitsuko Uchida meeds a "theatrical celebrity" stunt to establish herself as a piano virtuoso.
Kindly regards,
Bert Kidder.
brilliant !
Who is the pianist? I like her mood of playing on the stage
A power trio
I just finished watching this, saw the musicians' names in the credits, walked in the lunch room, looked at the newspaper, and saw Soyeon Kate Lee's picture. She was doing a concert at the local PBS studio as I was looking at it. Twilight Zone.
every time i hear this music, i think of hannibal XD i can't help it!
What music name
dope as fuck
Is it that hard to find & display the contents?
what are the names of the musicians?

Had she performed before Joseph II, maybe this would have happened, but we wouldn't have known.
Best wishes.
Agreed, Joe.
Is a list of the wonderful musicians available?
Yes. It's at the beginning of the video, and possibly at the end as well.
what are they playing? kv? anybody know?
BRAVO!
@Robert Hanson amen!

❤🎉
don't go to an orchestra if you have a cough....
this goes hard in the muthafuckin paint, goddamn
+VanIsleBC lolwut?
❤
I recognize this piece but don't know its name. It would also be nice to know the players. I know the violinist and the cellist are quite famous.....
Piano Trio in B-flat major K.502 by W.A. Genious
0:07
All the players listed at 1:20:40
Who is the pianist?
This Uchida is really something. I've heard in the past that she has an expressive face, and it's true.
What has Uchida to do with this? She is not in this concert.
nice

HOPPY LITTLE SONG
DEVINE MUSIC FROM HELL.
humans
It’s nice but the first song is too repetitive and I wandered elsewhere.
Lady Gaga Is Better
This sounds really beautiful but the pianists facial expression annoys me so much for some reason
Mei Wong Omg! same.
Beautiful but the pianist was MAJORLY over-doing it.
Sorry....but she is sooo theatrical....she is openly theatrical and she knows it. Definetely she spoils the otherwise
magestic concert.
This is so broken.

Chamber music is not concert hall music.
It is more personal.
Chamber music is the style of music not the audience
They're playing their expressions more than they're playing the instruments. It's frustrating to watch how pretentious classical performances are.
lol gtfo with that fucboi shyt.
That painist - she was the reason I couldn't really enjoy the piece. The amount of facial expressions are ridiculous - trying to keep the spot light on her the most. Just don't over do it.
this music sucks
Bravo!
BRAVO!
