Highly unlikely. Id actuality say not possible. You would be waiting 10 plus years for a daytona. Ive just been told by theee ad's even with a decent spend history it's not worth putting my name down on a sub and to buy on grey market
Mappin & Webb and Goldsmiths are both part of Watches of Switzerland group. Therefore you can't be added to wait lists on both these companies for rolex. If you try both youll be removed
Rolex UK told me they check names on their master list for those who are multiple lists. Also, if you are on the Goldsmith's list, you will appear on Mappin & Webb and WoS because they are the same group.
Try and get a Blue SS Sky Dweller. Near on impossible without six figure+ spend. Mint Green is hype as new, but Blue will forever be the piece to own. AD's will tell you Mint Green is harder to obtain, as it's newer. It's all scripted. Just go grey if you want any of these pieces - BLRO, Daytona etc.

I got the call from Ernest Jones in Kings Road Chelsea in July 2007 which I bought and still own. Then a year later another call from Ernest Jones Richmond High Street Surrey and then about 8 months later At Ernest Jones in The Bullring Birmingham so 3 Daytona’s in 2 years wasn’t bad back in the day. The funny thing is I kept calling Ernest Jones in Kingston Surrey asking why I didn’t get a call and the lady on the phone said you have been taken off of our list as you’ve already bought 3 and customers are only supposed to get 1 😂 . Just keep at it guys and hound the life out of them as you might just get lucky.

My AD of 30 years lost the franchise so I had to literally start again. I went in with my Daytona on to the third AD I tried and had a long friendly chat. I asked for an easy watch to start, a SS DJ rhodium and got it in 7 weeks. Picked it up with my wife. Wore my DD gold president, wife wore her Patek (she thinks Rolex is vulgar 😂). We talked about holidays, cars infact everything but watches. These guys are almost sick of talking watches. She saw a 4k pair of earrings she genuinely loved so I bought for our anniversary. Absolutely no pressure from the AD. Long and short he tells me I will get a sub no date in a few months and a few others. Find a person you get on with and show respect and hopefully they respect you i certainly have, my new AD is a good guy, karma. And the 2 AD's who didn't show me respect, well thats a pretty woman situation they missed a shed load of business. Good luck.
I think your comments five minutes and 40 seconds into this video are quite frankly ridiculous. Breitling make some fantastic watches. When it comes to Tudor, the difference between some Tudor now and Rolex is minimal, especially when you look at the movement, I have to wonder if you really know much outside of Rolex and the reason for this is, it’s all about money and artificially inflating the price of secondhand watches, which would always keep a high percentage of the value anyway when it comes to Rolex.
I thought that too. I place Breitling and Omega higher up the cool wall than Rolex. Rolex is too cliche, like an upmarket Tag Heuer, in fact I’m more interested when I see someone wearing a Tag compared to a Rolex and more likely to ask them about it.

Grey market flippers, some of his criticism of Rolex dealers is very fair and very justified. However, it is these people who are causing the problem and idiots. Who only understand the name Rolex when it comes to watches, if you start talking to them about anything else, they will look at you with a blank expression. They only understand very populist models.

I’ve been on 3 waiting lists for a Rolex GMT Batman since April 2021.
I’ve been on the waiting list for a Daytona since 1985. I recon any day now I will get the call.
