If my eyes served me right, Kanami played the red, the tiger eye, and her signature guitar at both Zepp Haneda shows. She might have played the green as well, but I can't remember. My old ears like the sound of the Tiger Eye the best, it sounds amazing.
The Tiger eye is a Private Stock so it is supposed to sound the best. I was in the back at Nagoya so only heard the sound from the PA. Hearing the raw sound live directly from her Bogner amp, that must sound amazing!
@@UncleYoshi Yes the sound straight off her Bogner, the Tiger Eye Private Stock sounded amazing. I was in the back in front of the mixer desk no day two. It was great thru the PA as well.
Hello, Uncle Yoshi-san. I always enjoy watching your videos. This time, I am filled with special excitement and emotion because my beloved Kanami has been awarded the PRS Kanami Signature Guitar. I am not familiar with musical instruments, and in high school I bought a guitar with the money I earned from a part-time job and played it, but after two weeks my fingers were cut and it hurt so much that I gave up playing it (Miku will probably beat me up for being so pathetic, so please keep that a secret from her lol). Various people have expressed their unique opinions about this PRS Kanami Signature Guitar. I read each one with interest. The world is vast and there are probably many guitarists who are better than Kanami. I think that the humble Kanami himself understands this better than anyone else. This is just my personal opinion, but Kanami fell in love with PRS and has been playing it for over 10 years. The sound of Kanami's PRS guitar honestly expresses her kindness and her emotional ups and downs. Even though I'm tone deaf, I can cry at Kanami's guitar. I heard that the first artist to receive this PRS Signature Guitar was Carlos Santana. Kanami loved Santana. The joy Kanami felt must be sacred and indescribable.
@koji-chandayo Hi Koji san 👋🏻 u r so right about Kanami. She took a risk, aimed to become a professional rock guitarist when she was in high school. And now PRS approached her to make a signature guitar 🎸 which must mean so much to Kanami. So well deserved 🥰
Thanks for helping me secure one of these guitars. It’s wonderful to have people like you in the Band-Maid community to rely on when needed. I hope to pay it forward by helping someone in need in the future.
The first purple Violet Burst Kanami used at Studio Coast belonged to Daisuke Kondo, her guitar tech. She later bought one for herself. At Studio Coast, Kanami used her Trampas Green, with Korina body and neck, and her Red Burst, with mahogany back and neck, in addition to Dai-San's Violet Burst which is also mahogany back and neck. From what I have read, Kanami had bought her own Violet Burst by the time they performed at Zepp Tokyo. Also Kanami's original Trampas Green is the one most often used with the tremolo bar (Onset is the only song I KNOW she uses the trem bar, as I've seen it live and in several videos) I am hoping they will make a "Standard" version of her signature model, or allow people to custom order it to her specs, just not with physical signature, maybe a stamp or a decal under the paint.
@@greylocke100 Thanks for the details about Kanami's PRS Guitars. Didn't know it was Daisuke that introduced PRS to Kanami. Maybe next year around this time, PRS will introduce an SE model b.c the core sold out so fast. Kanami SE model will sell a lot!
At the Zepp Haneda final, Mincho started with the usual red PRS, then changed to her new signature PRS, and finished with her private stock PRS guitar.
@@UncleYoshi I was on the 2nd floor and could see all the Maids very clearly including their facial expressions😉 Btw, they did an encore for the first time in many years that night. Just before the encore, Sai-chan said to us "This is tonight only. Don't expect this to happen ever again!"
@K.H.D710 😅 I heard Akane broke one of her drum heads during Choose Me. So Saiki was not satisfied & wanted to deliver Choose Me the way it was meant to be played. I had 2nd floor seats for Nagoya, but way in the back. Was your 2nd floor seats on the side close to the stage?
Gorgeous guitar man, what a treasure for all who got this guitar! Thanks for this in depth review, love this stuff, great work!! 🏆 Make sure to do a vid of u playing kanami's guitar ok...I'm glad u got one! 😊🎸 👍
@kevinrampersad9202 Hi Kevin 👋🏻 will definitely make vids playing this guitar 🎸 i will be practicing some Band-Maid riffs for December so I can be ready 😊
Thanks for this informative review and congrats on securing one of her signature guitars 🙏👋. There were 6 available in Canada and I was fortunate to secure one 🤗. Kanami is so deserving and I am looking forward to seeing her playing it live in May 🤩🎸. Glad you had a nice Thanksgiving 🦃.
@@BMCanuck Hi Richard 👋🏻 congrats 🎊 for securing a Kanami guitar up in Canada 🇨🇦 👍🏻 I'm planning on going to the day of Maid Okyuji in May as well. Perhaps we might see each other then 😎
Just wished Misa's Sig. BC PJ had an ebony fretboard like Kanami's, rather than the rosewood. Good choice Mincho-sama. Thanks for the update, congrats on securing a treasure, and Happy Thanksgiving, Po! 🦍🍌
Hi Uncle Yoshi! Sorry I haven't commented in a while. Congrats on getting the new signature Kanami PRS. I think that it's the best looking PRS I've ever seen. I LOVE the color, and I especially love the brushstroke birds. I think that's my favorite part. The ebony fretboard is a nice touch also. This guitar is just as tasteful, unique, and aesthetically pleasing as her playing and writing. Also, thanks for posting the Babymetal show from the other day. I have it saved in a queue, but I haven't had time to watch it yet. Hopefully soon. I hope you had a great holiday, cheers man! ✌
I own a limited bass from Kasuga made in 1979, one of 600 ever made. I had a Ibanez Musician 450 from 1982, which I sold way back. It was one of 465 ever made, it was built to order. I would really like to own the Kanami signature guitar, but the price is out of my range, I have to settle for a MISA signature bass.
@@UncleYoshiYes but Americans don't pay it when they order. The price is still higher though. I have to pay the extra 20% here in the UK, it's costing me around $8k.
It was HARD tracking one down after Sweetwater sold out. I should think all 200 could have easily been snapped up in Japan, alone; makes me feel guilty for ordering one as a filthy American casual.
@bravo0105 Anyone's allowed to order technically speaking... it would be fitting for this guitar 🎸 to go to Band-Maid fans & people who play or will play this guitar. Congrats for ordering 1 👍🏻
