Dora Carofiglio was the voice, so Simona Zanini (radiorama) and many years later also Monica Stucchi. She later married producer mauro zavagli. Dora Carofiglio was the singer of Novecento (and later married Novecento's founder and musicist Lino Nicolosi).

No, can't get into the vocals - too classical sounding for this kind of groove and not in the least bit funky or gritty. Then again, I never was much into Italian pop vocals. To each his own, I guess.
