Thank you so very much, PipusMr, for filming and uploading this! Just awesome stuff! Two of the worlds greatest masters! Steve Morse is my absolute hero! Dave LaRue, always incredible on bass. A perfect pair. I may have to watch that again....
I heard the Dixie Dregs in the early '70s in Augusta, GA before they were famous. My mind was blown, of course, and Steve Morse became my standard for all guitarists since. His composition is just as stellar as his playing.
Their so relaxed, while their kickin the crowds ass. No drummer, no backing tracks. Dave LaRue is a machine. They played more real music before breakfast, Than most pop star's do in a whole tour. Thank God for Steve Morse and his awesome talent.
Man those recording devices, lol that has to be distracting from time to time -- more than not I would imagine -- especially how close the peeps and their devices are in this performance... Thanks for the upload, ha!
there's a comment below that says it all. Somebody said I didn't know you but now I love you. It's the same for anybody who hears them they have never turned anyone off with a single note quite the contrary. Man I'm going to go home and practice a f****** guitar right now :-)
Yup. I met Steve after a Purple show years ago. He was a super nice guy. Easy to talk to and a true gentleman. Roger Glover was great also. Another real gentleman. He had the hotel manager open the bar and bought us beers until the sun was about to come up. That was the best time I ever had hanging out with musicians.
Why the heck do the visuals keep going from video frames to a green screen? That makes no sense to me at all. Good thing that the focus is on the audio signal, which I can hear clearly. But video should have video, don't you think?
I've met Steve on numerous occasions. He's always been very friendly and giving. A really nice guy.
that bass lines , one of the most complicated but best fitting ones and that harmonies they both create. Still best bass/guitar duo! period....
Love the drop D on name dropping! 11:24 Too damn groovy 🙂 Thank You for posting!

6:56 What is sound😂😆
What's the name of the last song ( 22:22 ) the play at this Namm show?
B.j. Surfdog “Simple Simon” from his Southern Steel album.
Great "cutting tone" from Dave!
Is that Travis Larsson at the right hand side of the stage? Nice guy, too. Pretty underrated for my taste.
Yes He is .
Dave has traded his Spector NS-2 for a EBMM Bongo bass
