Bahamut is the key role in GBF for sure, even a guy like me who's never played the original game knows that. But FF series? Man I know FF for many years, and I could barely see their games take any sort of reference on him.
I would say Bahamut is much more important in granblue compared to Final Fantasy. The one here is just a small part of him and he’s disgustingly powerful

One of the things as a new skyfarer to the franchise that I adore seeing is just the setting/rising sun in the background. Like god I was memorized almost to tears when I saw how beautiful this fight was. They do the same thing a lil bit more with Proto for the final final mission but it just hits so much different with Versa
This is one of those tracks that perfectly reflects how the actual boss fight goes. The desparation, the rage and wrath of Bahamut contrasting the determination and absolute chadery of Id. Seriously, when Id regained his senses and fucking BLOCKED a full strength Catastrophie fron Bahamuta Versa and the lyrics around 8:57 kicked in was such an incredible moment. THIS IS WHAT YOU SPEND THAT GACHA BUDGET ON!
Spot it, damn I get chills every time I listen to it. And I'm in my thirties already. I've been listening to the music my entire life and discovering such musical pieces brings happiness to me. It's just beautiful. Envelops so many emotions. Being able to listen to such music and appreciate it is just an incredible feat in life. It's a privilege.
Still insane to me after 6ish yeras seeing a 3D Bahamut. They did such a great job in adapting the 2D sprites & art from the browser game into 3D. I am glad Relink managed to survive development hell.
Bruh I killed Bahamut with Vaseraga and 3 bot: Captain; Yordaha and Zeta. With Vaseraga charged hit 1 million dmg each; I don’t even need Guts or Auto revive. As long as you remember its move set you will do fine.
Yeah this mission really introduces how important revives are, stuff like auto revive, level 15 potion hoarder, I even started running revive on Gran because of it lmao
The final fight was so peak it was unreal, like holy hell, especially when Versa and Bahamut started fighting in the background while you clashed with Id. It was also interesting to see Versa talking through Id.
