Hola Cameron, Enjoyed your video. I retired in Cuenca 6 months ago. From a small city in the midwest. Have not had one boring day yet. 1st month walked everywhere . The city , food and people are fantastic . Took taxis anywhere in town for 1 to 3 bucks. Loved traveling on the bus and train. Than bought a small motorcycle. Ride it anywhere including the small communities in the mountains. Have never been treated with anything less than respect. But I have never treated anyone Iv'e meet with anything other than respect. Planning first trip to the coast by bus . $16 bucks . I will have to raise my alertness. But for the most part I expect(hope) to have the same experience. Shopping for a bigger bike to explore more of Ecuador. Look forward to another video of yours ! David
Ecuador is a Beatifull and Interesting Country...I Retire in Salinas Two years ago From Florida USA...Unfrotunately we recently have some Concern about the raise of Crime and safety...But Try to be more caution and less show of ...hopefully things begining to Improve Soon...
