IPMS Nationals in Monona Terrace, Madison WI, July 17 - 20, 2024 Swap Meet, Vendor Room, Model Kits for Sale, IPMS Nationals Vendors 2024, IPMS Nationals 2024 Throttle Power
Thanks for the video! I walked right past you as you were videoing and wondered when you would release this. The place was busy for sure! So so much stuff to look at!
I liked the guys shirt at the Iwata booth. "Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?!" Thanks for doing the vendor videos. I always see one that I have not heard of in each video.
Madison My old hometown. I went to a national in Madison maybe 20 years ago and came home with about 25 models, some I'm still working on. What an experience.
Thanks for the coverage on my stripper (Dave's Magic Paint Stripper) Love to support the hobby. Our dad got my brother and I in it and we are getting our kids in it.
I've already been to 3 shows in just a few months from each other, the one in Ft. Wayne IN, the Roscoe one in Lebanon IN, and the one close to Cincinnati OH. Afraid I have to COOL IT for a while❗😒
That's alot of venders😮, thanks for the coverage👍. I would love to spend about an hour at that tool guy's tables😮. Have a good weekend Tim, Charlie Pro Tech LLC
Hey Throttle. I met you at one of these IPMS shows. Well let me tell you how they judge there models. If you are NOT one of there members you will not get anything. I recently went to the show in Havlock N.C and found that out. I took my F4U Corsair and my Pontiac GTO. I talked to a guy outside and told him what happened to me and he said do you know why that happened, I said NO why? He said because your not a member. The samething happened to me. Take care SIr
Ohhh, watching these is torture! :( It's like showing tasty food to a skinny, hungry nerd (guess who!). And yes, I am both, a nerd and a model builder. And a starving artist (pen & ink, artist's markers, etc.), so that makes me all three! I am an aspiring novelist, and a word nerd, though I am NOT a maths whiz!
Mate I wished we had shows and swap meet like in Australia we basically have nothing like this I definitely would spend up big when your videoing I see so many kits I would buy and decals and the prices are awesome
@@glennhamnett627 This is a matter one must establish locally, and develop regionally. One might ask the visual effects people in Australia's motion picture post-production crews; especially the older men. They long have built miniatures of buildings, structures, vehicles, etc., for their motion pictures, television programmes, etc. I would guess that a fair number of them also assemble model kits recreationally. Moreover, their broader scope likely would facilitate their appearing in various cities to populate such shows.
Can you tell me what the marker set is that you’re looking at? Is it sort of like paint when you do your models? What are the special uses for them just detailing?
Sure..... I think there are 34 of them in the big box. They are Acrylic markers used for detailing. I really like them and they have been the talk of the show!! You can buy the individual or in a 3 or maybe a 4 pack also.
I would had to take out a second mortgage if I had been there. Great gear. Thanks for sharing Tim. Have a great weekend my friend
Lots of great deals Steve!
My thanks to all the vendors who took the effort to bring all those kits, tools, and detail parts for us plastic nerds to spend our money on. 🙂😀🙂
Couldn't agree more Chris!
Thanks for the video! I walked right past you as you were videoing and wondered when you would release this. The place was busy for sure! So so much stuff to look at!

@@THROTTLEPOWER Oh , thank you so much for explaining it to me I didn’t know that much about them ! I appreciate it .
Wow I never seen model prices at a swap meet higher than a retail hobby store, unless it was out of production or a collectible.
So true!
😎👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you!
