      Imagine you knew that effort is a determined attempt and that hard is with a great deal of attempt which means when you say attempt hard, you're saying attempt attempt (which is redundant) Imagine if you acknowledged that effort is a determined attempt that's uncertain to work which means succeed which is the opposite of fail. Imagine if you realized that it only succeed when it achieves its purpose, not when it attempt to achieve someone or something else's and continues to have their own unachieved. Imagine "taking a deep sigh, coming home from a with a great deal of attempt day's attempt and knowing you still don't succeed."

    I been singing for about a year and 3 months with training. I discovered this and it allowed me to really control my air flow and that is what I mainly focus on now. I add vibrato to every note and I'm currently working with Pianissimo coming from vocal fry. My coach said he seen it in my cheeks when I did it correctly. I was so thrilled when I got it. It's also where vibrato is at. Everything lies within this technique. Spoken singing, humming, etc. It's all here. Do not be fooled with meaningless terminology it just takes time to memorize the coordination and to build it into muscle memory. I believe in all of you watching this video. You CAN DO IT!

    This is my issue: I feel like I’m using a mix voice (but I’m not sure), but my nose gets plugged up easily when singing high notes constantly. Is that due to bad technique or is there another reason. I also do not think I’m using a nasal tone too because I use the trick if closing my nose together. Please help!!!

    1:33... Thanks. Good stuff. For the last three, 🤔, ( ish) years I've become aware of the soft pallet because of the screamers vocal technique. I never knew or thought about the soft pallet when I learned to sing in chorus years ago in school. I'm curious how many people will be interested in the soft pallet.
    ...speaking of soft pallet technique, I wonder how your Pisces reaction is doing lately. Last I checked you were like, 1.8 mil on that one. ...Whew! 😌
    Thanks again. You've got a get channel and I do let people know.
    Actually the Pisces reaction was why I subbed ...and then I loved the sing better in seconds in public, that was awesome. 👋😁.

      It helps you to have more space and resonance in your mouth/throat area so you can have a better sound/tone and more dynamic capabilities (you can be louder without pushing your voice harder since you have more resonance)

    Hey! I have a question. When I sing, the back of my throat feels rough in a way. I think my voice sounds a bit raspy and it's not a fluid, rich voice like it used to be. I'm bad at explaining things so sorry if it's confusing, I'm just trying to find the problem

    • @DreadKyller
      @DreadKyller 3 года назад +2

      Not really enough information to figure it out really, as there are a lot of things you could be doing that's creating that sensation and sound. Is it higher up or farther down your throat that you feel it? Does it happen when you hold out an "Ah" sound, like "Law" but holding the A. Or if you make a really bright "zzz" buzzing sound and then open your mouth without changing anything else it should be a clean "Ah" sound as well. Does the sensation still occur when you do this? It can also help to place your fingers on various parts of your throat (lightly) and try to feel where you feel vibrations and how strong they are. Trying to hold a clean Ah sound in a comfortable part of your range and moving your neck around, tilting the head and rotating it left and right can also be insightful, just do it lightly, don't do it too much, you're not doing a stretch, just slight motions, if it cuts off or has too drastic a change when you move your head slightly, or you feel resistance in moving your head, then you may have tension in your neck. Also check for your larynx when singing, swallow first, which helps to reset the larynx and many muscles in the throat (for my it works better when swallowing with some water), then check your larynx position before and while singing and see if it raises or lowers.
      These are just some basic things to check that might give some insight into what may be happening. Also just in general make sure you're staying well hydrated. When drinking water it doesn't really hydrate you immediately, it can actually take sometimes close to a day for the water you drink to get to your vocal chords and throat to hydrate them, so make sure you hydrate well, a dry voice could possibly account for a raspier, rougher feeling voice.

      Not a good attitude to have. There are countless good male singers who don't let something like that get them down. Females and males are built different.
