The videos i saw of the Pepe Tools looks great, and i really enjoy it.
The problem with this kind of things, being made in the USA, or anywhere else for that matter, it has to be imported to elsewhere, and being in a country with a weak exchange rate it makes these things insanely expensive. By the time something like this has reached South Africa, the cost has risen from say 150 dollars (for example) to around 4500 rand, which places it out of reach of a lot of people who can appreciate the tools for what they do, and the quality of the tools also.
A few years ago i made a chainmaille vest, from some 2mm galvanized wire, all 12 kilos of wire, and though it took me about 3 months to make the rings, the end result was still worth it.
Yes i know, well over 12 000 rings to be made by hand is insane, but it was a fun project.
