These are really impressive. I'm in love with the goldtop, and can't believe it's only $599 USD. I have to admit that I wasn't familiar with these guitars, at all, so thanks for bringing them to my attention.
In all honesty - the gold top LP style is my pick out of the bunch...I had them for a few days now and that’s the one I keep wanting to play...the neck is not skinny but not super fat...the pickups sound great...it stays in tune really well - I put 11s on it and lowered the action a little and the neck didn’t move so it was an easy setup...the fretwork is great...machine heads feel good...all up I’m very impressed!!
Very cool. I can find something to like about most guitars, but I always come back to the LP style. Mine is an early '90s Studio, so I've got the baseball bat neck. I'd like to get another LP type, and they (Sire) have my two favorite finishes (gold and tobacco burst), plus I'd like to see how a smaller neck feels.
Larry is one of the GOAT's, no doubt (imho), and these guitars looks really nice. The "33x" could be a contender for me, no doubt. Looking for something like that
He’s one of the great that’s for sure...the H7 (335 style) is a great guitar...it’s kinda the odd one out...the other three are more “modern” style guitars - more modern neck profile, locking tuners and higher output pickups - this is a much more vintage feeling and sounding guitar...I’d say it’s based on his 1969 ES335 with a similar neck profile and similar output pickups...I’ve only had them here for a couple of days but so far I’m very impressed
@@drugtaker3283 I worked at Valley Arts guitar 1987--90 in the repair dept and later was head of manufacturing in their custom guitar dept. Got to meet and work with Larry and carved some of the necks for his custom Tele as well as his 68 335. Small necks for sure!
This is a repeat post of a reply I made to Craig. I'm looking at the T7 but soup it up a little with a Seymour Duncan lil59 in the bridge and one of his stacked humbuckers for the neck. Years ago I had a US standard Tele with a lil59 and standard neck pickup and it worked great. For the S7 I would have picked the green, maybe at these prices I'll buy both! 22,800 Baht in Thailand for the S7 so the price seems consistent worldwide.
The real Larry Carlton 335 was unusual in the more distant placement of the stop bar and these guitars follow that spec so I would likely assume that the neck width also follows is 335.

Larry Carlton S7FM great sound ..one of the most beautiful guitar tones I've heard in my life...I will only say my opinion ..for all those who make a serious decision to learn to play this instrument, one thing is certain, every guitar produces a sound in accordance with its performance, and this is called the color of the sound, SO THERE IS NO GOOD COLOR OR BAD COLOR..THERE IS ONE THAT YOU LIKE....OR NOT, SO THERE IS NO GOOD OR BAD GUITAR?! ALL GUITARS ARE LIKE WOMEN, they suit some and some don't... with a good amplifier and a good processor, I use the AX3000G KORG on my recordings, you can get a good sound, let's say this Epiphone SL guitar.. or I use Flight (Slovenian manufacturer, shape Les Paul) I also use Ibanez Gio GRG 121, also Stagg shape Stratocaster, produced in 1995, I got an Ibanez RX 150 from 1994 two days ago and I'm very happy with it...they all sound great, depending on the purpose for which song I want to use them. All guitars has a great sound and with good parameters it can be used as a professional instrument , best regards from Edy ..and all the best in your future work
I’m not sure…they came straight from the factory in Indonesia to me…they sat in customs here in Australia for about a week or so…plus I guess I didn’t actually order them, they were sent to me by Sire
It’ll be interesting to see if he will play these guitars live all the time like Marcus Miller does. These guitars were released just as COVID started so he hasn’t really had a chance to play them live yet...I have seen a couple of videos from his home studio where he played the 335 style H7...
The only one I've seen is this remote collaboration with some of our friendly "Sire peope" from last Holiday season: ruclips.net/video/PlqOcKo6DU0/видео.html
Between Muscians Friends & Sire guitar, The customer service totally bad. I would love to be enjoying my new guitar but, i have no idea where it is!! And yet they hold my money for it in the form a debit card hold and the bonus is every 10 days they hold twice the amount because a new hold goes on before the old one expires. Horrible!! Neither Sire or Musicians Friends keeps me informed as to what is happening. Both are Terrible, Terrible customer service companies.

@@Heyomattyo hehe…thank you very much!!
What are the prices?
Can I ask how much these guitars are? What do they range from and too?
They are around £499-£549 at Anderson’s - looks like they have some of the new colours and also two new models available for preorder...I think they are around US$599-$649 in the US...and around $1k here is Australia
Just been checking out the web site after following the link in the description. What do you know the best sounding guitar (L7) also seems to be the cheapest. Result 😉
Where do we purchase these in Oz?
Hey Craig…Gsus4 are the Australian distributors and you can buy them there too:

I specifically searched on T7 and this shit came up!
How dare my video come up when you search for something else...
It wasn’t so much that it came up, rather it came up and sucked.
@@careycutler2234 that’s a shame
Agreed!
Did you make any reviews yet? I would love to see a metal oriented one :-)
Not yet...they are coming soon! I’ll see what I can do re Metal...I’m not really a metal player but I’ll try my best!
@@TSFAHTPS just chugg in Drop D or better Drop C. That might do it :)
@@KomischerMensch hehe...that’s what I usually do to bluff my way through!!
Anybody know if the T7 (telecaster version) has a belly cut or is it pure slab?
No idea...hopefully we will receive some of the new models once they come out
I think you play better than Larry does.. LOL. True!..
Oh wow...thank you very much...I wish!!!
All guitars has a great sound and with good parameters it can be used as a professional instrument , best regards from Edy ..and all the best in your future work
How long from ordering to unboxing 'em?
I’m not sure…they came straight from the factory in Indonesia to me…they sat in customs here in Australia for about a week or so…plus I guess I didn’t actually order them, they were sent to me by Sire
Thank you! Those guitars look beautiful!
@@sirkazm we just filmed a few review videos of some of the models…they should be out shortly!!
No. Larry is 335. Only one LC. ✌️
I dont think I have seen Larry play one of these at all.
It’ll be interesting to see if he will play these guitars live all the time like Marcus Miller does. These guitars were released just as COVID started so he hasn’t really had a chance to play them live yet...I have seen a couple of videos from his home studio where he played the 335 style H7...
The only one I've seen is this remote collaboration with some of our friendly "Sire peope" from last Holiday season:

Must of cost a pretty penny
Better than a $3000 strat. Just go to show U how much fender is ripping people off. And don't even set them up
Dude, just a suggestion... unbox the guitars first, then start the camera.
Then it wouldn’t be an unboxing ...a lot of people seem to like unboxing videos...it’s all time stamped just skip it if you don’t like it
Unboxing vieeo without unboxing?
That would kind of defy the purpose, wouldn't it?
Focus!
WTF ? NO T7?
This video was filmed about a year ago before they released the T7! Hopefully we will get the newer models soon too
are these made in China?
Indonesia
Between Muscians Friends & Sire guitar, The customer service totally bad. I would love to be enjoying my new guitar but, i have no idea where it is!! And yet they hold my money for it in the form a debit card hold and the bonus is every 10 days they hold twice the amount because a new hold goes on before the old one expires. Horrible!! Neither Sire or Musicians Friends keeps me informed as to what is happening. Both are Terrible, Terrible customer service companies.
I’m very sorry to hear that!
I think in the end it has nothing to do with Sire as you bought it off a retailer. It’s really up to them to tell you what’s going on with you purchase not the manufacturer!
Hurry!! Before the wife finds out!!!
Too late
