You are correct in the lengths of the wires should be the same. Also quite often makers undersize wire. Myself for 250amp I would use 1/2" brass, and use larger wires as 8awg is good for 40amps. Larger the better, and higher voltage is better because of voltage spikes.
Could you use a bigger bolt MOSFET if desired? Thinking about buying a cheap 5kw inverter and doing some upgrades to it. I'd like to use it for a fridge and light bulb outside in my project shed. Thanks.
Yes but you have to upgrade the capacitors also, and be sure to not overload its peak because the peak will not change even though the normal running will increase slightly.
Hi, i have edecoa 24/220v 3500w (7000w peak) inverter and it is having cs75n75 mosfets which are broken. I have ordered same one on AliExpress but i would like to put something stronger and to add cooler inside. Any advice? Thanks in advance...
You can enter the part number online and type in option for it. So you would say your model mosfet options it will give you options of mosfets with a higher voltage and amperage rating. Takes a little work around to do it.
Question: Watched many of your videos, mostly inverters.. I have 2 - 6 volt batteries 230AH, connected the + and - to have 12 volts.. I have 2 - 12 volt batteries 1 is Marine 210Ah and 1 is deep cycle 110 AH.. Can I connect all the batteries together? I have 1 - 300 watt solar system (will upgrade to 600 soon) and 2 controllers.. One is to charge my 2 6 volt batt ( actually 12 volt now. and one to charge my 2 12 volts... Is that okay? Thanks
You need to test the quality of each battery ( a VERY GOOD TOOL - amzn.to/2yNSC1l ) you plan to use, and age of them is most important. The best program is to simply buy all new batteries of the same style, amperage and make. However you can tie a 12 volt battery to any grouping of batteries as long as the static rest voltage is within 1/8 a volt. So, get a full charge on each, allow to sit 24 hours with NO USE on them then with a good voltmeter test and record the voltage at that point. All batteries that are in good condition and within 0.125 volt of each other ( no more than 2 tenths difference) then you can wire them all as one 12 volt bank. Just be aware they may not last too many years due to different plate value discharge rates. Get a good AC & DC Amp meter like the one i showed above to make what you do have last much longer.
Hello sir, I hope you can help me. I have a new Cjang inverter (banggood) 12v 3000w. The original mosfets broke due to overload (which should not happen due to security) Then I replaced the original mosfets FHP 1404 (40v 160A) with IRF 1404 (40v 200A) Unfortunately that did not work. After the power was switched on (without load), they immediately broke? What could go wrong? Kind regards curious ..
A few conclusions: You have a open DC mosfet up stream thats not switching on/off and is hitting them with full on. Or your AC plug is shorted and that will blow over half of them after replacing. Sometimes it can be a capacitor thats out of rating or shorted.
@@JOHNDANIEL1 Thank you for the quick response, I fear that the printed circuit board is too damaged. Here's a photo (if it works) www.mediafire.com/view/rzok8z7c77ikxld/Cjhang%2012v%203000w%20inverter.jpg Maybe you already know more than me. kind regards curious
Yes, the damage is past correction. I would say a resistor that provides switching speed on the first or last pair failed and cascaded them all. If you want a 3000 watt that WILL NOT do this and has a better field of modified sine wave get one of these, ebay.to/2KDUj93 and you won't have to fear a house full of smoke again. You pay for what you get! Or what their ad claims at least.

@@yousufarafat3482 Seems your power control board has s short in or near it. Theres a small control board, it has often issues with solder connections. Check all for full proper solder job on them.
Sir. I have an 1000w china car inverter. The 4 mosfet Hy1906c is dc Side located. Two of them will burn. Whenever i changed them. whenever 12 volt supply on it the mosfet again burning. You have defective capacitors. They cooked their electrolyte without swelling and when a charge is present your mosfet can not rid itself into the transformers.
@@JOHNDANIEL1 There are many capacitors there. The difference between which is the difference between the person. If I want to send you this picture, then how can I send the board pictures. So that your highlights from the parts.
In the process of making a #2 video and repairing it worked for 6 days, not long enough to warrant uploading the video to show any worthiness of the inverter, and the phase control circuit ( a separate item not related to replacing a few resistors) then failed proving that even the lowest quality inverters can force you to throw them up against the wall. This leaves this video as a lesson on what to look for in the voltage supply circuit to the mosfets.

Hej! Nice one bro. But i thing about this mosfets, that there is all about current, not the voltage limitation.

Do you say this is still a ok inverter since its so easy to fix or should I buy different.
Need help my 12 volts inverter has ac side and dc side mosfets which one is suitable for each side
The AC side is labeled M1 to M4 and DC Q1 TO Q4.
I'm still learning about this and taking notes.
