- This is our first time reacting to a documentary. It was eye opening and sad, but so very very very well done!! Watch the next video - part 2 - for reaction to the song!
Hello ..I live 10 minutes away from Passendale...even still today farmers are finding remains of soldiers in the ground...every soldier gets a funeral and when they can indentify the body(name tag) the search for his family...
for a good movie on this battle (2008) "Passchendaele " which follows the Canadians who went into that battle
See sabaton uprising history very good and show really true fight in ww2
Including the History Episodes realy gives your reactions this "extra" thing. Thank you very much!
That Arkansas home owner, or whatever it was, add was just perfect. Coming in with an add for something like that during that segment makes sure that nobody will ever buy what they sell. :)
And yeah. Horrible stories need to be told too. Maybe even more so than the nice ones. And no, a swede here, we realized a long time ago that war was crap, we don't do that shit.
Definitely have a look at Sabaton's History Channel
its part one of two videos - the history channel is the first video we watched - blessings!
My Mom's cousin was killed on Iwo Jima.
I served in the Navy in Desert Storm.
Truly - thank you Chris. - Blessings be on you and yours- Suesue
My grandfather was in the Air Corps in WWII and I'm a vet as well. I'm reasonably well versed in military history but this discussion of Passchendaele disturbed me. I'm just glad I wasn't there.
As far as I know none of my ancestors served in WWI, but my grandpas served in WWII and Korea respectively (non-combat roles). Supposedly one ancestor joined a Michigan regiment in the Civil War but got kicked by a mule early on and was discharged before seeing any combat (or dying of disease like so many soldiers did then).
Great grandparents first date was Dec 7 1941 at Pearl Harbor. A Nurse and a Seaman who just happened to enjoy a not so quiet Sunday. They both made it through WWII.
Grandpa on the other side lied about his age so he could enlist in the Navy. He made it through WWII as well with some interesting stories.
Grandpa served in the Airforce in Korea made it out in one piece....
Can you guys react to their History episode on the Winter War?
Yes I second this 👆
Me too
I’ll add it asap ! Suesue
@@SueSueandthewolfman the song for the history is named Talvisota
@@SueSueandthewolfman The song for that episode is called Talvisota react to both the song and history vid.
Love you Guys!!!! 🇵🇱
You could say the Petersburg campaign in the US Civil War was a precursor to trench warfare. The history segments for the songs are illuminating and informative. Nice reaction.
Sort of the whole Overland Campaign I believe; like Cold Harbor.
WHY DO YOU LIKE UGLY MUSIC. THEY ARE TOTALLY NOT CREATIVE. THERE NO BEAUTY IN IT.
To each their own .....
you say this everytime, you need a new hobby
Some stories need to be told. Some lessons relearned in every generation. You seem to want to forget....
Then don't watch/listen to it if its not your taste in Music.
