Another fantastic adventure. Another fantastic episode. I was just a little surprised that the car You where driving didn’t get at least a little smidgen of water in it...... Looking forward to the next instalment........ ⚛️☮️ 💚🚙💨🐾 🌏
Yes, James, thanks for sharing. I watch your videos more than Safarilive any more as it comes on so late. I live in Florida so I wait and just watch the videos. You make camping out seem kind of easy with delicious food on the grill; you gotta love it!!!
IM CRACKING UP yet AGAIN! You two are all the entertainment I need in my life. Day in and day out, I could handle this stuff!! Laughter is the BEST medicine!
Hi James, I have just stumbled upon your page and it has just given me such a good laugh. Much needed. I have seen you on wild earth and love your descriptive and humorous way
A roof tent is a great idea! A friend of my sister had a rude awakening one morning as a lioness was busy dragging him, in his sleeping bag, off into the bush! Thankfully he scared her off.
I just love watching James the Ace Camper🤣🤣. I don't think we've seen him put a tent up properly yet 🤣🤣. Just as well he has the lovely Kirsten to do the job correctly.🤣🤣🤣. Role on ep.2.
Not only is it entertainingly informative, I love how you use music, and visual elements to create story telling and give enough information that I have as much context as I need to watch the video further. Very good job. I subscribed. I am also very very interested in exploring more of Africa. I have been twice (to Namibia and South Africa) and watching these videos during COVID19 shutdowns has really helped me plan for the future.
Welcome to my Beautiful country Botswana❤🇧🇼 Our Pride ,Your Destination . I love working for the tourism industry and giving such wonderful once in a lifetime experiences 🥂❤
Through my childhood and into young adulthood my family camped on all our vacations. We couldn’t afford to vacation any other way. My Dad built a trailer we called Rock and Roll to carry all the stuff. One of my sisters hated camping. Something always happened to her...like the skunk the curled up next to her warm bottom, the rat which sat in her foot, etc. Poor thing. I feel very lucky to have had these experiences. Saw wild wolves, bears, mountain lions, etc. learned so much from my father who loved nature.
Yeah...my Mom was screaming at my Dad to shoot the skunk before it gave my sister rabies. My Dad was calmly explaining a) it was too close to my sister b) if Mom kept yelling it would scare the skunk who would spray my sister and my sister freaking out over the whole bite the butt get rabies issue. It was not funny for my sis but very funny to me!
I'm pretty sure we spent a few nights at the exact same campsite in Savuti a few years ago. We had an elephant interrupt our dinner one night to snack on the tree just above our truck :)
So much fun! This is going to be an awesome adventure with you two. Maybe you should have brought an inflatable raft or some floaties with yas. LOL Looking forward to the next episode.
Canadian family group went in 2017 drove from J-berg to savuti, had the most marvelous time, yes females hold their bladders at night, because I herd a bull elephant heavy breathing eating merilla fruit, at 3 am. Savuti best place on earth!!
Loved it! Kirsten you do an excellent job editing, etc. and each episode just gets better! I love the vicarious thrill of your adventures because I know I'm never going to get there and you both make me feel like I'm there. I would love longer episodes but understand why. I just go back after the last one and rewatch the whole thing. Can't wait to see the next episode but a week is a long time! :)
I’m really enjoying these, James and Kirsty. Lovely and also entertaining to see your adventures. James - ETA that I just read your piece on Hakumuri. Very nicely done. I enjoyed seeing Jamie and you both on that. It was both well written and thought-provoking.
I really enjoy James' camera work. It seems like most camera operators try to frame a big picture which frustrates me when I want to get a closer view of the animals.
SO FUN! I felt like I was there. I love everything you two do: relay information in a comedic way - doesn't get any better than this. So keen for the next episode! Keen for large lions :O
@@JamesHendry another wonderful episode!! But I have to say: sooo many adverts when not watching life, like every 3 mnts or so. Would not watch if I did not know you, sorry. But the I love you both so suffer through it 🤣
Don't you normally need a whole camp of people taking notes and giving you advice to get things set up right? 🤨 Truly, though, I love watching you two and always tell others about these adventures. Come to the US west coast someday and I'll talk you into floating a river with me. 🚣♀️
Thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you both for sharing with us. A trip I would love to do, so of tremendous interest seeing it through your experience....this aside from the humour and generally missing your presence and knowledge too much on WE. How did you seem to breathe so normally, without even a facial twitch at the decomposing ellie site? Poor Kirst was not coping. Look forward to the coming episodes and live chat a great addition beforehand
Hello James, I have really enjoyed your videos! Next year we will go to Botswana for the first time, in March :-) May I ask what type of camera's you are using for filming? I really like the shots of the two of you in the cab, filmed from the windshield!
Totally enjoyed this video !! Too bad in Botswana have had an increased poaching of Rhinos who have been de horned 👎👎👎 So, I ain’t ever going there and support their economy. Too bad though, it is a beautiful Country
I'm an American but lived in Botswana for 12 years. I love that country, the Batswana, the wildlife. I love to travel throughout the country. It always seems you can run into someone you know at the airport. It's a special place. Watching you braai, made me wonder. It's a huge question that I hope you can help me answer. When two South Africans are braaiing together at a neutral site. Who is in charge? ;) We live in South Africa now and I've learned from experience that even if I invite South Africa friend over for a braai, I will let him take over. That way no one is stressed and the cooking is still done to perfection.
So.... that NOT stopping at a STOP sign ... is that the norm in lots of places? Asking for a friend. Because of how often crashes happen when people run STOP signs.
What a Wonderful world awesome
Brilliant episode, thoroughly enjoyed!
Thanks so much!
Loved the video 😍😍😂😂 AMAZING!!!!! Made my day 😍😍😍

My home town! Enjoy!
The water facility - concrete so the critters do not break it. Too funny on the RTT setup! so much for quick deployment! Chuckle/chuckle!
I love how dramatic you are James! Cracks me up!
What an adventure😃. Thanx 4 sharing with us

You need to look up Safari Live James Hendry clips.......they will make your day! His wit is neverending!!!
Thank you for the laughs watching you set up camp once again! ❤️❤️❤️ looking forward to next one 😁😁😁
A roof tent is a great idea! A friend of my sister had a rude awakening one morning as a lioness was busy dragging him, in his sleeping bag, off into the bush! Thankfully he scared her off.
That is terrifying!
Oh my word!!!!!
The time-lapse at the end was superb.
I just love watching James the Ace Camper🤣🤣. I don't think we've seen him put a tent up properly yet 🤣🤣. Just as well he has the lovely Kirsten to do the job correctly.🤣🤣🤣. Role on ep.2.
I admire your adventurous spirits! You’re a very earthy couple!🙂
Thank Y’all for providing such a wonderful escape from the total chaos of vaccines and viruses . Laughter much needed and appreciated
Savuti is one of my favorite places. I can't wait to see more

More to come!
Maun/Chobe was my first stop in my solo 'trip of a lifetime' 20 years ago. It was my gift to me when I turned 40. Those skies were so amazing!
Very cool!
That was great. Looking forward to the next episode. Thx James and Kirsty

We use the Sony A7iii and a Gopro Hero 8 for the car shots
@@JamesHendry thank you!
So did I see “Barry” in one shot in a similar 4x4 next to you? So he is driving along in his truck and being your “guide”? That`s cool!
Yes he is! He came with for the first 2/3 days to make sure we didn't get stuck
Great vid...however Overlanding tip no.2 - Try stick to the beaten track because some of those sidetracks can get you into some sticky situations.
Thanks for the tip!
You didn’t show us the loo facilities! Or if there were any....
We will! You just have to keep watching!
I have heard many laughable comments since we have “meet”. I have laughed many times. The “if you can’t smell that you have Covid” is the greatest!
Mr.Hendry, women are always right. Hahahaha.
I am quite sure you will have a beautiful time together with your lovely & beautiful wife.
finally!!
Amazing.
Poor Kirsty at that elephant carcass
It was a horrible smell
This is great :D

Would also squeeck driving through road dams to be honest.

Never seen anyone lock their diffs on gravel roads 😂😂 this indeed is Overlanding for dummies ...
ah you're here too, James. I'll sub
