Hope everyone is safe and doing ok! A few people seem to keep asking why we are out in the street and some also seem angry about it, we are walking to eat food and buy groceries which are still required for basic survival, besides that we did nothing else in the video. During the next few weeks we will still have to go into the street for these basic necessities and obviously try to keep distant from people which isn't hard as everywhere here is empty. The only contact we will have with people is when ordering food or buying groceries but there isn't really any easy way to avoid that. We are complying with the rules and throughout the world i still see people doing grocery shopping so not really sure why this video is seen to be so outrageous by a few people. Once again, hope everyone is feeling well and everyone is safe!
better here in cebu not lockdown
Jumping Places can I quarantine with the beautiful babe
You really must watch this - ruclips.net/video/KXtoz-hVHrY/видео.html - especially for foreign travellers who have questions on the lockdown situation. You can skip to 17:08, if you want or skip entirely if you already have seen it. But please share.
rubi bacalso is it possible to still move around cebu? Im in Malapascua and not sure what to do?
many hundreds of cases officially already reported very sadly in PH, country wide, including multiple officially reported deaths very sadly yes. Actual numbers could possibly be massively higher and increasing daily though. please Be very careful and cautious there bro, as well as respectful of the current extreme calamity underway ✌ God bless all
Europewide is no better either. Here in America, people are on the edge. Your videos give us respite from these uncertainties. You are better off there. Take care.
Watching from Dammam Saudi Arabia.. Same situation here.. 🙏🙏 Stay safe guys. God bless. 🙏
@Dorian Mode if you cannot follow our rules we fuckin dont need to stay here.. we don't need you.. you are the one who need us. We didn't call you.. you are the fuckin ,who came ..
I respect both brazilian but Stop the close gathering with other people...those who will give words show me where you are so I put you in prison.
YOU GUYS ARE BETTER OFF STAYING IN EL NIDO THAN BEING LOCKED DOWN IN EUROPE WHERE CASES OF THE CORONA VIRUS IS WAY HIGHER. YOU GOT THE BEAUTIFUL BEACH, MOUNTAINS AND THE BEST THAT NATURE CAN OFFER.
It would be boring AF being quarantined in El Nido, place is pretty boring when it's not shut down. Plus many places are requiring anyone to get Barangay Captains clearance before going to market for food.
@@redranger518 who cares if it is boring? Many places are boring during these times. Safety is the most important.
Red Ranger More like “peaceful” rather than boring.
Yes, you are lucky. Lockdown in Paradise is the best option. You can catch some fish, pick some fruits & veggies. Consider yourself lucky. Peace.
@@redranger518 it is more boring having to stay at your home all day long 🙄 stop being ridiculous. Look what's happening to Italy. Many people from all over the world are being stucked at home. Safety should be the main priority not parties and fun 😏
That's a better place to be locked down compared to Metro Manila right now. It was a good decision to stay there. Keep safe though
Buchanan Winchester your right
There may be a misunderstanding about the phrase “Foreigners need to leave the Philippines”. Foreigners are NOT being forced to leave the Philippines, but rather foreigners will need to leave the Philippines by March 19 if they want to leave the country and go back home because after March 19 international flights will be significantly limited and it will be difficult to depart the Philippines. Filipinos are always hospitable and welcoming. Stay safe and keep washing hands. The whole world appears to be going into lockdown, not only the Philippines. I’m here in the US and several cities are also shutting down.
@Shame On You no one is ready for the virus ever the richest country like italy, US and european country...
@Shame On You pretty hard. Working on it that's why the govt needs to put us in quarantine a little early just to prevent a major outbreak. The good thing here though is that there are a lot nurses and doctors. And we just pray for the best and help out the frontliners as much as we can staying indoors
@In Between Jobs there's literally no cure yet. The healthcare in the Philippines varies depending on which province you are in.
In my opinion you're still lucky in your current place 10x safer than a city and cheaper...be safe watching here in Toronto 🇵🇭🇨🇦.
Not sure how long this gonna go. From GTA
Guelph Ontario here
Watching from Denmark. Here everything is closed, except from supermarkets. Now it is illegal to be more than 10 people together. Lots of companies has closed down, and all government offices.
Crazy situation, really.
Stay safe. Love your videos.
Yeah I've been stuck in Japan for 10 years! I'm living in the countryside so it's not so bad, I can't speak for people living in Tokyo or other major cities though. It's gotta be stressful commuting to work everyday in the packed trains. Japan hasn't been hit as hard as say Korea or other areas but it's also hard to believe everything I hear on tv coming from the government. Japan so desperately needs the Olympics to be held this summer so I feel like they aren't testing as many people as they should, or they're not reporting everything accurately. But yeah... I wouldn't mind being in the Philippines right about now too, I think you guys are in a good spot to be quarantined, take care!
In Australia, we are just learning new restrictions almost on a daily basis. It is not as restrictive as in the Philippines but slowly government is closing certain gatherings, gym and some social sports and clubs may close soon. We don't know. People are panic buying on many items.
It is good to see you are taking this pretty well. I think it is safe to say this is all new to everyone even the locals. I suggest you buy a few more food stuff just in case. And feel free to talk to the local if they think they will be open because the last you want too see is what you thought are opened are actually closing. I actually think you are in much better area than many other people even in overseas. Take care.
By the way, feel free to post vlogs even you're daily situation and how are you coping. That way, we can still support you via watching your vlogs.
The citrus fruit you bought are Calamansi. One of the most delicious citrus in the world imho. Wash your hands!
I think you are in one of the best places under the circumstances. I think a lot of is woulf love to see a video every few days just to see whats happening with you guys.
dont worry about the military, they are there to serve and protect =) you can even talk to them if you like.
Look for a monthly rental apartment or house may be from $100 to $150/month.
The first thing I noticed is your hotel room. AC, Netflix, nice bathroom, decent size, with little patio, and looks fairly new. Nice. Yes, foreign nationals, Filipino overseas workers and residents are allowed to leave now at the 3 intl airports. But the biggest problem is finding flights (airlines have cut their schedules, as much as 90% of their flights). Second problem is you have to fly to a destination that will take you in. Considering countries are closing their borders, that could be tough.
I'm in Toronto, we're already in an emergency situation but I think a week or so, there will be more restrictions. The federal government has asked that all Canadian nationals return home, and offered some money to help pay for the rebooking fees. In the meantime, learn to eat more local fruits & vegies, - tropical fruits and vegies are very rich in vitamins, e.g. kalamansi (the little round lemons) is rich in vitamin c, moringa/malunggay (you add to soups) is a superfood, guava, mango and maybe durian (apparently a superfruit). Enjoy the sunshine (vitamin d).
my cousin is a filipino working as a nurse in toronto. She decided to stay there and help the hospital in Canada. Hopefully she is safe there
I live in north Italy and we are in a lockdown. There's nowhere to roam around for it's prohibited unless it's necessary like going to supermarket. Supermarket entry is controlled we have to get a number. You cannot enter unless somebody has checked out the counter. 1 meter distancing is strictly implemented outside the waiting lobby. We stay all day at home. You are lucky you can still walk around.
My wife, daughter and I were just in el nido second week of January. It was a different place than what your video shows. It was crazy busy and a super awesome place to visit. Kind of eerie to see those streets shut down now like that. I can’t imagine a better place to be stuck during the coronavirus outbreak. I hope you guys stay safe and enjoy.
Hey buddy, San Juan Puerto Rico have 9pm till 5am curfew..Been raining a lot..I have paid close week from the job.. Could use an escape like the Philippines.. But some day ..like your blog and stay well.
OMG! We were just there last week! We just left at the right time before every Airport started to be chaotic! Glad made it back to Canada! Stay Safe y'all!
Just found your channel and loving it!!! Stay safe out there. Things here in Florida are starting to get silly. No TP in the grocery stores..😲
Keep vlogging guys 🤙
Toilet paper that important? Just use your hand
I'm also subscribed to Delightful Travellers so it was fun seeing you all together!! Make the most of the bad situation and have fun
I am in LA right now and will
Leave for Texas in a few hours. It's getting crazy here with all the panic buying and stuff. Couldn't find rice on the shelves. You're in the best place to get stranded. Enjoy.
We are Americans from the Midwest. Our schools have been closed since Friday and now there is talk that school will be closed for the rest of the school year. The state of Kansas closed all schools until next school year. California is in discussions now to close schools until next year as well. All restaurants and bars are closed for us. These are unprecedented times and hope all is well with you and your subscribers. We really enjoy your videos and now will travel to PH and consider retiring there.
Maybe we will see you both on the beach in Tablas with your kids and BonBon the dog. :)
Fellow Midwesterner here! Are you guys having a shortage of tests for coronavirus? It is very difficult to get them in Illinois.
luckilly in the philippines, school years end in late march so this virus is happening during summer here. only few school time is affected
I lived in Port Barton for over two years. I have friends who still live there. Stay where you are. You're probably in one of the best places in the world.
In England it's starting to get worse and worse daily here. I'm expecting a full lock down here on Monday.
We found you guys through the #delightfultravellers love your vlogs!
dont leave el nido, the rest of the phil ia on lockdown.
and the world too.
new subscriber here. we're in manila. wish I could trade places with you..be stuck in a paradise.
Looks like London is going to be on lock down from Friday with possible curfew. Panic buying in the supermarkets. Feels unreal.
I would be better off in El Nido then here in Connecticut, USA locked up in paradise better then being here

This virus is causing lots of headaches. Be careful and take care. Blog I’d great as usual. I live in central California and lockdown also apply here. Take care.
Watching from the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA, USA. Your videos give me a moment to imagine Im somewhere else and not bound to my home. There are now over 100 Covid-19 cases in my town now. I am 45, have multiple sclerosis, and lung nodules. Im terrified. Absolutely terrified. Im a mom and i need to make it thru this.
Sad to hear that, but we will make it through this! Stay strong!
Never give up😊 I hope you can travel here in my country Philippines you must visit Batanes or Romblon take care po Godbless and more health my God give you more and long life☺
I would be A-ok there with that beautiful water & sunshine
just be careful yah, one case in palawanpositive and died already, suggest buy alcohol and sanitizers and try to find face mask.. anyways take care!
Yeah i read about that, but he died before the test results came back and he had other health issues so seems they still haven't confirmed. From what I read a few others are under observation in puerto princesa but they have stopped people from traveling between municipalities so hopefully if someone has it in puerto princesa it wont spread here!
Thanks for nothing. Am currently in Puerto Princesa.
Yes u guys stay safe here it’s all over the world 🌎 hope this Pandemic will end soon ..... the whole USA is on lockdown..... stay where u r !!! 👌👍👍👍👍
California is the only state on lock down.
i am in Moalboal, there wer many people in panagsama beach seeing the turtles yesterday. Kawasan falls and whale shark in oslobo are closed 😔
The backdrop scenery in El Nido really gives me an Ao Nang vibe.
I agree! Huge limestone mountains :D
Thailand is doing the same bars are starting to close
Also the sign saying "Tourists NEED to leave" is inaccurate. Tourists who _want_ to leave have only until the 19th to leave. Tourists who wish to stay _can_ stay. That tour company probably worded it that way to drive up ticket sales. EDIT: never mind, the deadline was lifted completely. Although it probably still will be very difficult to find flights.
Not at all. ArtCafe is the longest standing Travel Business in El Nido with direct links to the Mayor and the airline the flies out of El Nido. Tourist really needed to leave El Nido. The sign even tells then to go to AirSWIFT in Lio in order to book directly with AirSWIFT the only airline which flies out of El Nido. Yesterday was the last chance to fly out of Palawan as the airlines were requested to fly tourists to Clark airport
@@AJPWPRFU I mean using the term "need". There is no directive whatsoever forcing foreigners to go home. Those _wanting_ to leave need to leave at that time, yes, before the airports lock down. But tourists are not _required_ to leave.
She's thinking netflix and chill
Shit! I guess he got some last night
The citrus fruit they brought is the native calamansi (also called Philippine lime or calamondin in the US). They're very sour, so you can't eat them as is. It is used as a condiment or an ingredient in cooking. You can squeeze like 6 to 10 of them in a glass of cold water, add sugar, and you can enjoy fresh calamansi juice, our local version of lemonade. We traditionally also use them for colds and sore throat. We just squeeze them into hot water and drink it unsweetened, like tea.
Really appreciate the updates. Writing from New Mexico, USA where we are rural and in the mtns. The shit is hitting the fan in the USA but we have it relatively good and have free roaming nature in the mtns. People are starting to isolate, bars and restaurants are doing take out. Many businesses still open. That all could change but we still have big nature and very few people. Crazy times! Sorry to hear that you are on lockdown there. I hope you are correct and can end up walking the beach and getting into nature. It sure seems like that could happen there without running into people! Stay strong and keep us posted on life in El Nido.
I'd rather be stuck there in El Nido than anywhere else even with a lockdown. Hunker down and enjoy
Stay safe guys❗
here in California we are in a quarantine ❗🙏🙏🙏
yeah everyone is asking me the same thing--- why i am travelling...why solo trips..!! fed up being a vlogger !! but now taking it in a easy way- doing constructive skill gaining exercises n learning experiences... back home-- i had to cancel my japan trip... much love from india ... stay safe !!!
Be sure to have enough cash . It's better in El Nido than in the cities during a lock down . Stock up on RED HORSE beer .
It's funny you are recommending a red horse beer while your avatar is that of the gold eagle beer.
I can't drink Red Horse two days in a row! Hurts my head! Thailand restaurants, day/night markets still open. Locals are hurting. Most of the local girls went home provinces.
What about the Islamic rebels in this region of Failippines ?

The one positive thing that this lockdown have done is to help mother earth from pollution. A lot of cars and factories are idle so air pollution worldwide is greatly reduced. Mother earth can breath fresher air for a month.
Wavemaker more like 3 months
Hopefully at the end of this hysteria, people will get used to staying the hell home, not tour and pollute the world as much

How did you get permission to enter the Philippines during the lockdown? All foreigners are banned from entering the country with the only exception of spouses and children of Filipino nationals.
Guys, do exercise in your resort to boost immunity, also eat health foods with lots of fresh onions
Looks like heaven I can’t wait until my retirement to make that my life.
I am currently stuck in Zambales on Luzon. From what I can see in the news it is still better here in the Philippines then back home. From what I have seen on the news the Lockdown is for now scheduled till April 14. The big question is how the situation will look by then and if the Lockdown will be extended. Stay safe
You gonna stay in zambales for a month?
@@JumpingPlaces Yes, I am going to stay put here in Zambales for now. I am married to a Pinay and we are staying at her families house. Also my work is fully online so I should be fine. We were thinking about flying back to Germany since foreign nationals are allowed to leave the Philippines whenever they like, the 72 hour time window was lifted again. My big concern is that we are allowed to enter Manila in order to catch a flight but there is no information if they let you leave Manila again if your flight gets canceled. Especially since Europe closed all its borders to non EU citizens I am also concerned that we might make it out of the Philippines into Dubai or Doha but then I would be stuck there because flights to Europe might get canceled. And in that case we would be trapped there since flying back to the Philippines wouldn't be possible any longer.
Yeah same here mate, the Brazilian embassy said they could organize some military plane for us to Manila but they can’t confirm what will happen in Manila. They said many Brazilians are sleeping in the airport because no hotels can accept them. So screw that! Best just play it safe here since everything is still relaxed and we have a nice place
THANKS FOR YOUR VIDEO SIR WE WERE THERE LAST YEAR JAN ISLAND TOUR WAS GREAT PRIVATE CHARTER IS THE WAY TO GO NICE TO PRICEY AND YOU STAY AT THE ISLAND YOU WANT AS LONG AS YOU WANT ITS THE BEST BET IN EL NIDO STAY WELL AND SAFE TRAVELS
In Malaysia lockdown two weeks second day, stay safe everyone!
You have a cheap, lovely place to stay with Netflix! Too bad they closed the beach. Remember, rice & beans are a complete protein. Here in the U.S, EVERYTHING is closed except grocery/convenience stores, gas stations & banks....All with reduced hours of operation. So, it's time to chill out & find other ways to spend time.😁💚💙💟
I've been there before guys" just enjoy the freshness of vegetables, fruits ,fish and air you are the blessed quarantine people in your area,Keep safe.

Now in the same situation as you but at least you have the beach, starting to wish I’d stayed in El Nido

How do you guys coping with the lockdown? Here in Singapore, life is as usual though the daily cases are higher.
We are good, obviously just a bit bored i guess but here is relaxed at the moment. Pretty much nobody in the streets here so should be easy to go for a little walk and easily avoid people if we need some fresh air. Hope everything is good with you
As long as you have food, booze and Netflix you're good.

@@wavemaker2077 Mush better then.
Try learning some Tagalog (Filipino) during your extended stay if for no other reason than to help you and Carol from going crazy. Depending on how long you're stuck there, you might be fluent at the end of your 'residency' and will be able to do a whole video in Tagalog, youtube gold for all your Filipino fans. I learned some Tagalog from Filipino co-workers during a summer job during college. For example, Carol is dyagan. You might pick it up fast cuz many Filipino expressions are close to Spanish which is close to Portugese. You can only watch so much Netflix .... good luck. And I liked the raw, same day format and the camera quality was excellent.
I suggest you to rent some semi automatic motor bike (not scooter) and head to verde safari beach and Diapila (the northernmost village on the island). If you stay all day in el nido town it will be so boring.
Just got news today that we are pretty much not allowed out at all now so not scooter or motorbike allowed either
Why did you not go home when you respose to go home my friend I've told other people on other videos that are making videos saying O were traveling during the virus no no no no that's not safe at all and this lockdown that you say might be 14 days or one month is going to be come 3 months or 6 months my friend you should start watching the news before going on vacations like that or you should have got to the airport and left earlier
All countries are starting to lockdown and put into quarantine here in NCR there are city placed under lockdown and enhanced quarantine. You should start buy food and stuffs

In Surrey and waiting to see if they will put us on lockdown. Trying to stay calm and riding it out. I think you guys are in a good place for the time being 😀
I'm stuck in South America. Visa running out in a month. All borders, airports etc closed to outside. No announcement for foreigners about what will happen when your visa runs out and you can't leave.
Atleast, you are stuck in paradise. While me, here in Oman, starts to look like a potato. Semi lockdown is real.
Are you guys planning to stay or return home given the situation?
I wish you best of luck and stay healthy 🙂
Not now no, Europe is in a worse state so best stay here for now. Depends how things progress though and how long this thing takes
This video made me realize it really is possible to get bored being stuck in a tropical island paradise. I guess you guys should just watch Cast Away on Netflix with Tom Hanks. You're on the same situation, only there's restaurants around you. lol
Also, quarantine lockdown is only good as long as there is law enforcement around. Locals will always try to break quarantine, because they have to earn money. So i'm betting shops there will continue to open.
Lol yeah well if you are on an island and cant go to the beaches you will definitely get bored! I am sure there are some other tourists in other places that can still access beaches. Hope your doing well :D

Hi guys, there's no need tourists have to leave Philippines on or before 18.03. It's untrue what's written on sign outside the shop seen in clip at 8:36. Always check info with tourists office or other local government authorities. Don't trust or listen that what local people say around. I'm also locked down in Panglao/Bohol until 12.04. and no one asked me to leave (funny we actually couldn't do it at the moment even if we'd want to). Stay safe there :)
The best place during lockdown, the scenery is amazing, the beach next to you, fresh air and don’t worry guys you will not get hungry there as long you stock up some water and food. The fresh produce there are much cheaper as well.

You said there's a coronavirus in the Philippines?
as per instruvtion and president speech 1 month but we are praying it can be back to normal after 15 days . its late startung there in provinces .
Hi from Puerto Rico. We are on lock down since las saturday.
We got to Palawan on 3-12. Heard about the lockdown while island hopping in El Nido on 3-13. Flight canceled on 3-14. We got a hotel on 3-14 near the airport in Puerto Princesa, planning on staying for 30 days if we couldn't get a flight. Got a text late on 3-15 that we had a new flight on 3-16, our original date to depart. We celebrated, packed, got up on 3-16, got to airport and flew to Clark. The passengers all celebrated. We got a hotel about 5pm in Barrio Barreto, ready to settle in for 12 days, excited we escaped that lockdown....then heard rumors all of Luzon was doing a 30 lockdown starting at midnight....and we had 72 hours to leave. Woke at 7am, saw the hotel packing everything up....the rumor was true. We couldn't get to Cebu where our original flight was to depart....20 days later, airline never answered our messages, so we tried to find a flight from Manila to anywhere...except China...Hong Kong...you know, hot spots. Airlines were gouging everyone. Found a flight to Japan, 17 hour layover, then to LAX, 6 hour layover, then Denver...then Indianapolis. Then we realized, oh shit, the flight is not on 3-18...but its today, 3-17...in like 6 hours. A mad dash, 4 hour van ride to Manila, 40 plus hours of flights and layovers, and we made it home....Insanity. hope you all stay safe and get home soon.
I got to Puerto Princesa on the 12th at 1 pm and 8 hrs later I was booking my flight back to Manila ! Left on the 13th at 7:30 am found a flight to SFO through Taiwan. You guys gonna stay there easy 2 months or more ! Now I am back on my home in California. 15,000 infected and everything closed. Waiting for the onslaught of the COVID19. DOW at 19,000 and dropping. If I was on your situation I will band together with other tourists and join strength and resources and adapt to the situation ! Good luck. Maybe it was better to stay there !!!
