Accomplished teacher, bishop and artist Joshua Maponga has launched his latest book - Find Your Truth. In the book Maponga interrogates Africa's relationship with God, and looks at African Theology as a concept and basis for his spirituality.
On this episode of Something Nice with Dinano, Maponga says the book touches on issues concerning his journey and growth in matters of spirituality.
His journey has taken him from growing up in a christian home, studying theology and discovering the impact of African Theology and Spirituality in Christianity.
In the interview, He also clarifies how colonialists used religion to conquer Africa and its people. He mentions the African names of God, claiming God in African religion is a monotheistic God.
With over 30 years in christian ministry, Joshua Maponga has now decided to question what he has always known to be the truth and is on a journey to seek answers to his questions, in a quest to find his truth.
This book will help you question and think deeply about what you have always known as your journey through life on your path to Find Your TRUTH.
Maponga has made a name for himself by presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ in a different and thought provoking way. He has also featured in various television programs including Abafundisi and AmaBishop on Moja Love.
Maponga is ahead of time...very few people will understand him, may the ancestors healing energy vibrate all around us.

5 years ago I started questioning this Jesus thing even lost friends in the process. I have no regrets I've been in my own spiritual journey of understanding my culture it's been amazing. Its sad that our own kind are embarrassed by our own culture...we still have a long way to go.

Spirituality practised by The Power of The Holy Spirit..We see this when people can communicate with Jesus directly, and He speaks back, plus asserts His words with scripture. This is also seen through the gifts of the Spirit. TO practise Christianity as a religion, one must first be born again of The Spirit, thus having an experiential testimony that is supported by scripture. These things also aid in Spiritual warfare that we may be able to tell what is of God and not.

I’m a white Aussie almost 50 year old woman and can completely empathise with this brother. We know nothing about our true identity here our history completely fabricated.
