i only looked at it for keith's fit check and even that moment they didn't give us :/ for the rest of it i acted like it was a normal podcast.

why is this recorded like this? 80% of the video is shayne and you can't even see the other cast members. I don't understand why they didn't just keep it on the wide shot the whole time if they weren't going to bother to change the angle when people were talking so you could see them
who ever is operating the camera must really like Shane
as a camera man I know that sometimes you just don't get enough cameras to work with, in a studio there's like 5-6 cameras but on a stage like this only expect 2-3 if that, most the places I film for only have 1 camera and I have to bring an extra for good shots, so it makes it hard to get those really good angles. Sometimes you have a lot of cameras but they keep bugging out or disconnecting so you just cant use them, a lot more goes on behind the scenes than is realized unless you're watching the camera guy
@@jasmine2519 First 1/3 is looking everywhere but Shayne even when he's talking, then hard switches to pretty much ONLY looking at Shayne and no one else who's talking 🤦 makes no sense

The cameraperson pissed me off so much when Courtney asked the crowd to vote by cheering, and we couldnt see which side she showed for each cheer.

@@voylesaustin94 I was wondering the same thing! I love Shayne, don’t get me wrong, but they had so many amazing cast/crew members in the panel. It would’ve been great to see the people who were actually talking at times

Edit: I thought the camera person was doing a weird job cuz they were only zooming in on one person, but after I kept watching for a bit it seems like there were more angles and either the fiotage got lost or they just didn't bother to edit it. Either way, it ruined the experience not to see people's expressions, reactions and everyone's opinion when they had to lift their signs. Idk if I'll even finish watching it

@@SirDingle For stage shows like this, the sound quality can drop and it can be extremely helpful to see faces and body language when trying to determine what someone's saying.
We were there, there was only one camera man recording the whole stage, it was hard to keep getting everyone on stage with people getting up and moving around in the audience
@@SirDingle it's not a podcast, it's a live show. There's supposed to BE audience engagement which you would like to SEE if you weren't there.
Camera-work is atrocious, like yes I get wanting close-ups of the groups occasionally but not even half way in it stays on Shayne and we miss all of the reactions from the rest of the cast during important parts and while they're speaking. The zoom-out was the best and we barely got enough of it.

The camera person was obviously being inattentive here and didn’t want to either just stay zoomed out the entire panel or follow the speaker. Like why were we zoomed in on Shayne while someone else was talking and he was just listening? :/

What confuses me the most is that the livestream have better camera angles. If something happened with the recording specifically for this, just put out a cut of the stream as the video. Or keep it on wide view showing everyone

16:20 I don't know about Hindi, but in Chinese, asking "Have you eaten?" is a very common way to start a conversation, similar to "How are you?" in English. Given that English wasn't the guy's first language, I'm willing to bet he probably just translated the expression literally 😂 It doesn't make the whole interaction any less annoying IMHO, but it does make a bit more sense if that's really the case.
Edit: Apparently, I would have lost that bet lol 💀 Thanks to the kind folks below who clarified that this isn't a thing in India.

I'm an Indian dude, live here and no it's being WAY too familiar with someone especially when the relationship is "male tattoo artist working on a woman". People can obviously text each other asking if they want to catch up for a bite even if they've barely talked but it's pretending that that sort of relationship *should* or could exist just because she got a tattoo done from him is highly inappropriate, not to mention unprofessional. There's many reasons to maintain contact with a tattoo artist but hooking up or going on dates is not what the job is about. He shot his shot with that one "good morning" and that's it. Pushing past that was clearly testing boundaries and it's not cool.
Tattoo artists serve a largely urban clientele. They get all sorts of people coming through their doors. One in Goa would easily get international clients seeing as Goa is well known in India and abroad for having amazing beaches, free flowing booze and an almost year round party scene. That's much needed context to why there's no point to making excuses for this guy. He's in it for hooking up with his foreign clients. That's fine if its consensual but most people will be creeped out by that and it's highly unprofessional. You're trusting a stranger, this tattoo artist, with the hopes that their equipment is sterile, their hand is steady and your vulnerable body to put either some cool art or sentimental memories on it. The fact that the guy with the needle simply is doing all this to have sex with you is not pleasant. Unless he's hot, apparently.

It's so interesting, how the etiquet regarding paying on your birthday is dependent on the culture/ country you are from. In Slovenia paying on your birthday is highly expected and very polite unless the food or drinks are the birthday gift, arranged by friends or family you're celebrating with.

Does anyone have another video of the panel that shows the cast, because it's missing key info on the panels. Plus the cast reactions just as large as Shayne reading. I love Shayne, but his connection to smosh as a whole really shows his strength.

As as someone who has filmed shows, this camera operator needs talked to asap. This is so hard to watch. Im nauseous with the rapid shakey movement, and theres no proper attention on the subject speaking.

Dude, who tf reuploaded it like this?! It's not that the camera work is bad (it's multi-cam), it's that it only sticks with one camera without editing between the other one or two, and there was more switching in the live version, which was just fine as it was.
Reupload it as it was, please.
