Just to emphasise the point of the comment. Neither Kev nor Tim quite knew the situation' I'm sure the initial (very pleasant also) Sec Guard eased their worries. But still, they could easily have been far, far more stand-offish from the outset. That type of... response, is not exactly unheard of! Just remember all this isn't 'pointedly' an audit of Public Servant's, PC's etc. They rightly have a higher threshold of professionalism. The security guard did not have sufficient knowledge to be able to give you chapter and verse on what was acceptable, but he was very non threatening and not afraid to say he didn’t know but he would find out. All credit to him.

Good audit and I think the security guard had good intent here, despite not showing his badge, he came across as wanting to do the right thing but just wasn't fully informed. The two people afterwards were professional, though did seem like they'd have preferred to have told you to f off ;) if they could, but if I am correct, I hope their views have changed and maybe even if they see this video and read the comments they'll be proud of themselves and maybe a little regret that they weren't a bit more engaging with information about what they do. All in all a good video.

You know a lot of companies do not allow others usb drives plugged in. I was dealing with an NGO and had my info on a USB drive he plugged it in and froze his laptop LOL. Wrong file system. He rings IT they say there is nothing wrong but had to remove it and restart it. And went on the actual PC and would NOT plug it in again hahaha

However thanks to David Cameron and his interest in a new nuclear power plant when he was running the country he lowered the feed in tariff which made solar almost worthless. Solar panels from recent years are photovoltaic and don't require direct sunlight - as such even produce power on cloudy days (though not as much as sunny weather obv.)

It is a criminal offence to not have a SIA licence on display whilst undertaking licensable conduct.
