Which perfumes from the Dior private collection would you recommend?
Update: I put the pillow into the dustbag, doused it with FD, and placed it into my clothes closet. Now, whenever I open my closet to get dressed, I'm delighted with a soft whiff of FD. Looove it! :D

Bois D’argent is a must have in my opinion. I have a feeling you would love that. And Balade Sauvage is a very beautiful fig, oceanic fragrance. Both fragrances keep evolving on my skin. Performance is excellent, not loud and not skin scent. Just perfect!
My favorite is Ambre Nuit. It’s the only one I felt compelled to buy and it’s now one of my favorite perfumes. So classy, deep and sophisticated.
I love Oud Rosewood, Tobacolor, Gris Dior, and Vanilla Diorama. Be careful with those 7.5mls because they tend to break if the cap is twisted too tightly. The lighter fragrances in the Dior Privee are so popular in my country because we prefer lighter scents. The line is doing really well here.

If I were to go back in time, I would buy the smaller versions of fragrances. 250ml of anything is simply too much for those of us with mammoth collections.
SO true!!! I stopped buying bottles completely a few years ago. However I'll ask for some 1.7oz or 1oz bottles for Christmas for perfumes that are holy grails. Or ones I know are being discontinued. Otherwise I buy samples or decants. 5ml decants tend to work out great. 😊

It's so funny cuz when I first got my decant I checked if you had a review on it and came upon your review when you said you didn't really like it. I was so surprised! Funny how our tastes change. This is the reason I can't bring myself to declutter anything, lol.

I can't believe you didn't like this one!! I adore it! I finally got a decant of it earlier this year and immediately fell in love with it. (Had been wanting to try it for ages!!) And I'm so impressed with the sillage and longevity. It's outstanding!! I also got Ambre Nuit again. Another beautiful Dior fragrance. Really want to try Tobacolor Oud Ispahan and Vanilla Diorama. You'll have to let us know about Tobacolor. 😊

I hated FD when I first sniffed it. Like, HATED. I was SO confused! The jury is still out on this one, though, because some days I love it and others....not so much.
I have and love Gris Dior which is weird because I don't normally like rose...or 'freshies,' but that one rocks my socks!

Enjoyed the unboxing and think Feve is lovely too. I love Rose Kabuki and regret selling my Vanilla Diorama 😅
How would you describe Vanilla Diorama? It's one I've been interested in for awhile.

My fav is Belle De Jour and La Colle Noir. Havent try Feve Delicieuse cos it's impossible to buy in my country in Asia and if I were to get prelove it will cost so much more than retail.
I think Feve is one that has to grow on you. I own it and Ambre Nuit.
The only one I’ve tried is Sakura and it’s not something I would ever wear. I love the packaging - I want that box!
On a different note my sotd is amouage sunshine which of course makes me think of you. It’s my first sniff of it and I am pleasantly surprised. It’s lovely and I get why you say it makes you happy.

Ok wow I bought the same fragrance and volume direct from a Dior site and didn't get all these extra-ness and samples besides the 2 you can choose from the regular collection 😂
Yes, I don't know how that works. I've ordered direct from Tom Ford, Dior and Armani and I've heard other people mention all the freebies they've gotten and how nice everything was wrapped and I got nothing, just basic. I ordered from Chanel because my friend got tons of samples and still I got nothing. I don't understand how some people get things and others do not. I've never gotten anything special, including the packing, every time I've ordered from a luxury brand. It's disappointing.

Hi Arlene I want to get a sample of your fragrance That way I can go forward if it works and order the smaller bottle like you did. Last year for my birthday, my husband ordered me Ambra Nuit , which I love. I ask could he order me that after I had such a bad feel with the keali Amber 23 invite only. They should have just called it tobacco 23 or invite tobacco or something I don't know went tobacco I don't know it just oh my goodness That is not my kind of fragrance and I was so disappointed. But it's still in my home. I also recommend spice blend That is such a nice scent. Only thing is that it's not available in a small size and the price went up by over $60 for the I think it's the 4 oz It's like $310 girl! 😲🤔. I want to get the small bottle of the onoir that Francis Kurkdjian created in the in the 2000s,. I'm sure it's been reformulated and so I'm excited to try that scent and if it doesn't work I'll just give it to my husband or my son to use. Anyway take care
